So it seems like everyone is having the same problem, essentially;
settings didn't carry over and are not saving properly.

Like with ANY update for ANYTHING, one thing gets fixed or improved which means
another thing gets broken. Give it a couple days to get sorted out.

And another thing;
throwing b***h fits and calling the devs names is not going to solve anything,
it's only going to make you sound immature.

A lot of work goes into these sorts of things,
and the demand for modernised layouts and coding as technology rapidly improves
means that most devs are under a lot of pressure.

Things change, especially in this day and age.
Be grateful that they put any work into this AT ALL.
They do it for your convenience and work hard to keep it running.

Encourage them, don't ********' make them feel bad or you won't get jack s**t from them anymore :T

Okay, so... I boot up Chrome and WOW all these changes.

I mean, it looks nice, but like everyone else is saying, nothing's being saved properly, or carried over properly. I mean, I personally felt that nothing was wrong with the previous look, so this update's sort of out of left field for me, so it'll take some time for me to get acclimated to these changes, doubly so because of the bugs.

But bugs aside, I've got... cautious optimism about this.

I'm glad to know i'm not the only one having SERIOUS issues with this, but wow. People need to calm down and realize that bugs/glitches happen. ESPECIALLY ON A SERVICE THAT IS COMPLETELY FREE!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person having problems with BG right now,
But also upset at how people are reacting to the bugs that were made.

I hope things gets fixed soon though,

I see im not the only one having issues here, thank god.
Hopefully things straighten out soon.

Issues im having, just to reiterate them.
- Post formatting not using my saved formats.
- Skins are not showing up.
- all my settings are there and unchanged, but arnt reflected on gaia anymore.



also BG isnt showing up in the right hand corner of the browser anymore.

Aside from the recent bug, I love BG , good work guys and keep it up.

Is the new menu just plain white or the graphics not loading properly? Nav bar looks pretty flat too, prefer the older one.
Not too fond of the overly bright current colour of the nav bar, and the colours of the post header, though those can be changed.

Also, the BetterGaia shortcut button is gone. Not sure if intentional.

Not only did my chrome crash, but my whole computer did, twice.
Is anyone else having a problem with the daily chance?
I got them this morning, hopped on my sister's account just now and it's not there?
Are they weeding dailychances out?

Oh good, so I'm not the only one who's experiencing crashing. Google Chrome opens, tries to open a tab for bettergaia (on it's own, I don't even get the chance to click anything) and then crashes. I can't even get Chrome working long enough to disable BG. The window is open for less than 3 seconds and then just gone. I can't do anything. I hope this gets figured out soon.

Hello dears, I seem to be having an issue with the new update.
Well, I'm assuming it's a new update.
My back ground image has been reset, and I cannot change it back to what I had it previously. . . .granted it was one of the generic options offered with BG.
My posting format (which I simply copied and pasted into this post) seems to have disappeared and I cannot change that either.
I'm sure these are just little bugs that have come up with the update, but I thought I would let you guys now. <3

but id like to get back to haveing my dark black gaia theme, gray and sky blue hurts my eyes a bit...

might have to find a darken override scrip that i can do on my own until you guys get around to it tho...im seeing whit lines from the layout when i close my eyes, ahahah....
