For your post styling, could you add more customization options? For instance, when I quote someone I start typing right after the quote block, not two lines down. Deleting those two lines is getting to be a hassle. Also, would it be possible to add auto-format to the quick post thingy (as well as the instant quote feature you implemented)?

I'm working on adding these abilities, but currently I'm preoccupied with classes for now so it'll take a while.

I never noticed before, but using BG for whatever reason resizes the Guilds. What I mean is that without BG, the guilds allow images to be a maximum width of 692px before causing problems. With BG enabled however, it auto-resizes an image to a width of 645px, yet the text still goes out to the full 692px width.
Here, you can see what I mean:

I don't know if it's because of the Guilds running on a different forum style than the regular forums or not.
It's not a big deal, but it is kind of distracting when making graphics for the guild.

BetterGaia works better with Chrome than it does with Firefox. Is it a chrome-only thing that Gaia puts quick quote on or is that to do with BetterGaia or something?!

TekTek's add on allows post formatting even from the quick reply. I love that feature and that's one of the only reasons I'm not keeping BetterGaia on my browser.

The other reason is, that somehow it isn't displaying people's avatars when they get the right hand side reply to a post... What is that?

I'm getting that problem too. I'm also having problems with the way Gaia alternates the position of avatars every other post:

It looks like BetterGaia's formatting stays the same for every post, but Gaia's formatting is still moving the avatars back and forth, so they get lost behind the post.
(I am using the latest versions of BetterGaia and Firefox.)

Edit: I don't have either of these issues when I use the Chrome version.

Is there a way to change the redesign to just have the regular forums?
I just added BetterGaia today, and I like it... other than the redesign on my forums.
I want my forums back the way Gaia has them, I don't care to customize them.
Is there a way to change it back?
If not, I may go back to not using BetterGaia, I really don't like the layout on forums.

I think it would be really great if BetterGaia could incorporate a way to hide most of the header; like the logo, main header image, avatars, as well as everything else.
Definitely keep the notification bar as well as navigation bar, though.

This also being said, I wish that you could just ultimately hide everyone's avatars like you can with the signatures and even posts in forums.

As bad as it sounds, I don't really like the whole avatar concept that Gaia has, and mainly use the site for the forums.

I just started using BG about a week ago, and just now noticed that my profiles background has been over wrote, and is white now...

Any idea how this can be fixed?

question: I hate the pagestyling with bettergaia but love a lot of other things. How do I disable the pagestyling and just use gaia's normal forum style?

I don't know if you need to know this, but I'm using Better Gaia for Firefox. I personally don't like Google Chrome so I don't use Better Gaia for Chrome. In addition to the problems I've listed below, how long will it be until Better Gaia for Chrome and Firefox are both up to date equally?




1) There is a problem with Better Gaia that should be fixed. As you can see in the above Screenshot, in Forums the Time Stamps of posts are missing and all posts with Avatars on the right don't have the avatars next to them.




2) Another Problem that is in Guilds the Link to Return to the Guilds Homepage is only appearing on the Guild Home Page and not anywhere else in the Guild. I would appreciate it if that was fixed.

At the moment, there is no way to disable that, but that is a good suggestion for a feature for him to add.

(⊃◕◡◕)⊃ Is there a way you can make it so that you can turn off post formating in PMs? I only use it for the post format feature on the forums, so it get's pretty obnoxious having to turn off better gaia entirely just so it doesn't keep clogging my PMs with code. ♥
