Yoshi Knight, you are correct IF you don't import the images directly from TekTek and use there avatar editor. Let me explain myself in detail. Normal Gaia Users will see the item layering the way it should be, but from BetterGaia user to BetterGaia user you would see the item layering the way the you want it.

Basically it's just a re-implementation of the TekTek system into Gaia using their item database. BetterGaia to BetterGaia users can see the layering the way the user specifies, BetterGaia to normal Gaia user the normal Gaia user would only see the normal layering. Understand?

I know this is a new version and don't know if it's been posted already, but:
The Post Formatter doesn't seem to be changing the post style when I compose a reply in the forums.
Everything else seems to be working fine.
Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1 user.

I used that and my problem's back again.
I have my preferences set to show the shortcuts and stuff
next to my username, but they're still not there. Hhheelp.

What version of FF are you using? Are all your add ons up to date? What about Flash is it up to date as well?

I'm using firefox 4, but I have been since it came out and it's worked very nicely with the bettergaia add-on. I keep all my stuff updated when it tells me there's something that needs renewing and I'm not quite sure if I have flash.
But if I don't then it shouldn't be the problem because it's JUST NOW messing up, with this one update.
Also, my friends list is freaking out too, on my other account. Instead of showing them two at a time, down the line like it should, it shows one at a time, a long row. The friends list even has a scrolly bar then.

Are any of your friend's usernames overly long?

Being overly long shouldn't have an effect. It didn't used to. The name would wrap down to a second line and keep the two columns. Also I noticed that that box got narrower with the newest version of BG.

For some reason the "Draw All" thing isnt next to my Daily Chance thing anymore.
It is checked in the options so it should be there.
Its been that way for a few days, maybe a week.
Why? D:

Hi, I just have a couple questions. If you can, just pm me with the answers. I want to get rid of the page footer. Is it possible or is it there forever?? Also for my shortcuts, in my settings I've personalized them but whenever i try to reload gaia, it says the same normal list of the shortcuts. ex marketplace, i renamed it $ but it doesn't show as that no matter how many times i refresh the page after saving it. And one more thing, you wouldn't be able to change the header where it has my username the dashboard and shortcuts to gaia's original purple color??

Yes, you can also disable the footer in your Gaia settings as well as in the BG settings. For the Shortcuts problem, you'll probably have to restart Firefox for the changes to take affect. That glitch has been around for a while now. You should have gone through the settings, you'd know these things.

And as for the header color, no. There's no way to change the color of that currently.

There's a lot of complexity to why it wouldn't work, I know it, just don't quite know how to explain it. In order for it to even have the slightest chance to work in the least, there would have to be a server that would pull all BG users avatars. In which you would then go to that server change the item layering, and save it. Then any BG user would be able to see the change, but there's a lot more complexity. Setting, who's a BG users and who's not, telling it what pages to load and what not. There's just really no way to do it. Like I said, I know the complexity, just can't explain it.

Just know it won't work.

Actually overly long names could be the problem. Sometimes when text wraps itself it ends up moving down. Depending on the settings for the element that the text is in, I think it corresponds with the padding, width, and height is why. In certain parts of my profile, when the text would wrap, it would move the text further down, had to increase the width a little to fix it. That might be the issue here, IDK.

what you're suggesting though wouldn't be the persons avatar then.
Which means any item could be put on. also every BG user would need an official account of some sort.
this idea in general isnt going to happen. its far more complex then you seem to realize. plus its a rather lame idea. :T

I decided to swap over to Google Chrome full time, anyways I've noticed a problem with the Chrome version of BG.

As you can see with BG on Chrome the Post Reply Box in Guilds does not appear in the current format.

Sorry but do you know how to take away the g at the bottom? Not the bg or the dashboard is what i meant?? && also the strange thing is now my post styles won't show when i do comments on peoples profiles?Is it because i saved it once by disabling it and than unclicked the box and saved it again?? && Also, the shortcut's name is still stuck to the name i had it originally but I changed it and it's still the same. Also does anyone know how to make it so the header shows the picture stretched instead of it in a pattern?? And where did my sugguested content go from mygaia page because i didn't click the box to hide it??Some please pm me with the answers and I'm using the latest firefox (5)

Same problem as a few people. My post style doesn't work(should be document) though the template does work.(kind of obviously, can see it around this post razz ) I'm using the latest Chrome on Debian linux.

But Darkness is what shapes it.

It would be super cool if Better could find a way to remove/hide the new voting system with the <3's & </3's
I don't know how complicated that would be though or if it would be possible
