i downloaded it about a week or so ago and i really like it so far ^.^
i have a 2 questions though 1. when they put out new headers for the site (like the rig and holiday ones) will it replace the one that i have now (which is last years halloween)
and my second one is how long does it take for you to put the new headers into the sysytem so we can select it to change or header with?

Yes when Gaia changes the header, whether its for an event or a RIG, the BG header gets pushed aside. There is a way to block that from happening if you have ad-block I think. I think someone in the BG guild posted the code for that. BetterGaia Outpost.

As for adding new headers, allvanishing usually does that, if the header is popular enough when he release's a new version of BetterGaia.

However if you like a current header, but its missing from the header line up, you can always use the custom header option.

Tools - BetterGaia- Settings - Style - Header - Other - Custom URL.

Now I have not done a custom header, I've only done a custom background, but I think the steps are the same. Say that the next header that goes up, you like, just 'right-click' on the header image and click 'view image' it will take you to a new page with just the header on it. Grab the url at the top and copy and paste it into the custom URL box that appears with you select the custom URL circle in headers.

Someone else should probably follow me up on what I said, as I'm not sure if that will work without causing any problems.

I just downloaded BetterGaia, and I'm liking it so far. Having a lot of fun customizing the backgrounds, header, and all that. I just don't like how the reply button jumped to the right side of the screen now, when t was on my left. And how some people's aquariums layer over the quick reply box at the bottom. Is there a way to customize those things?

I'm playing around with the settings in BetterGaia and I noticed if you set the logo as "Golden Gaia" the background goes blank. I have it set to Legacy.

The background also goes blank when I set my header style as Aekea or Durem, when I was using Legacy. I can set it back to Legacy, but for some reason it changes it when I change the header.

At the moment there are no options to customize how the individual forum buttons are placed.
*Edit* Well there does appear to be a way to have the buttons on the left, but it really makes the forums look like a BG/Reg Gaia Hybrid. Go to Tools - BetterGaia - Settings - Style - Other - Disable - Click the Box.

Okay I changed my settings to what you described but they did not disappear like you said. However I did see them disappear while in settings, when changing things. Was that what you where talking about? I'm not sure what is causing that to happen, it could be just a delay in the settings reacting to the changes Idk.

Gaia just released a new RIG, the animated gif of the Wolf appears, but the rest of the Header does not. When I disabled BG the entire header was there, so its not my internet connection.

I just added BG and have been going through the settings...

How do I set it so avatars will appear on both sides of the forum? Right now they only appear on the left (but still flipped). Also, I have a bit of a wide screen and I would like to know if it's possible to justify the account information bar (the one at the top right with my username on it) all the way to the right.

That isn't really possible, unless you disable the forum coding, which would make the forum look like the one Gaia made...

I don't know if it fixed itself, or if it was because I changed my header in settings, but it appears that the RIG header reappear after you change you BG header and save.
