as far as adagio reprieve and kinokoyi, i don't think i'll be adding them since you have to layer other backgrounds with them to make them work

edit 3/15/17: Okay now that I know that there's such a thing as temperamental bg cutters, that may open up some other items that previously I had not counted as bg cutters since they didn't work on the bg's I use as test cases. I'll have to keep that in mind testing older items that look like cutters in the future. [I usually used Boundless Gaze, but I'll have to start using Lonely Traveler in there for suspected finicky ones]

Also I felt a need to extrapolate on limited backgrounds in case someone were to bring up an item not seeming to be a real background cutter. So was trying to think of how to describe them clearly. Anyway that's what the next post is about.

Limited Background Cutter: an explanation

Most background cutters are pretty direct and cut most full backgrounds, background objects and overlay layers. Limited background cutters can each be a unique challenge to work with, as many full backgrounds will not function with them. However they do affect many background objects and overlay layers.

In the example on the right: The blue full background layer is untouched, but the pink background object and green leafy overlay are trimmed.

The examples on the left and right show with and without the Dream Town cutter.

This cutter will completely cut most full background items when viewed from the front, but leave them untouched when viewed from the back. However it can be utilized by building up background objects, as evidenced by the smoke, it does not affect every background layer.
