Front page seems fine to me, quite helpful, but if you can make it better somehow go ahead. I think gaia released a couple of items for wind and earth

Yeah I'm just thinking of cleaning up some description redundancies and combining items that come from the same clothing set (so stuff like 'dark prince', 'light prince' will just be labeled as ___ prince with respective links for each item).

Yeah, Heavenly Immortal from one of the batch releases (I think it was alchemy?) looks good I'm just not sure where to put what items.

Also, sweeping gale and crummbling earth items. Some recolors like icy crumbling earth would fit water tribe

Oo yeah I like those! There aren't a whole lot of ice waterbending type items, so thats a great addition.

I think I may just add onto the last post I have on the main page where its a bunch of arm mods and whatnot to make avatars look like theyre bending, and store all the 'related but not exact' items there

This blows my mind that I made this thread in 2015! 6 years old. Crazy.

I don't have any items to add at the moment, but I'm sure there are a handful of new items Gaia has made that can be added. Suggestions welcome, this thread isn't dead yet!!

Changed the formatting around:
- removed redundant item descriptions
- reduced description size to 12 point
- removed spoiler around cosplay images
- removed cosplay item name lists
- added credit for asami cosplay (was missing for some reason)
- changed some item descriptions to relate to seasons or episodes of atla/tlok

Just wanted to show this thread some love heart it's my favorite guide and has been a huge help for me in recreating my A:tLA OC and a bunch of other fun looks for her, too whee I also wanted to offer a couple suggestions, if you're taking em, OP.

Night's Shadow (+recolors)
I see that you already have the red and gold version of this item for the Fire Nation, but the recolors are great for each (non-murdered lol) nation. there's even a couple black options if you're trying to go for a more neutral-looking character. I use for one of my character's "default" looks

Fairy Ellette (+recolors)
this item has some super cute sandals and sleeves that can pass for kimono/dress sandals and sleeves if you squint hard enough, lol

Clover Culture (+recolors)
pretty decent shirts and shoes that come in (close enough) Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation colors

Melonpan of Haruharu (+recolors)
really it's just the headband that can be used, but it's simple and cute and accessorizes well with FN, EK and both WT outfits 3nodding

Magical Minstrel (+recolors)
vests and belts that come in a variety of colors that cover all four nations.

, & Greco Roman Pants
Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom pants. They also have matching tops and sandals that can be used for FN and EK clothes, too, but they're not as passable as the pants alone imo. Plus, they're gold shop items so they're dirt cheap and plentiful 3nodding

Thief of Dreams (+recolors)
another awesome pair of pants that cover the wardrobe color scheme of all 3 nations. also comes with some pretty decent boots and shoulder-guard...thingy. also also, it has a cool tattoo and weapon~

this is my last suggestion/information dump and tbh I'm a little hesitant to share it, it's like my secret ingredient for all of my earthbender OC's outfits, in fact they're in all the "base model" avatars I made of her. but they're all great items that definitely help add that lil extra *chefs kiss* detail that makes a great look/outfit/character design, and it also adds a bit of canon accuracy if that's like, your bag. xd I'm surprised these weren't added sooner but...

, & Ballad of Orpheus, Faded Racer & Dirt Destroyer (+recolors)
dirt and grime for all your rock-chuckin, sand-whippin, metal-warpin, magma-coaxin needs. the faded racer and dirt destroyer add some nice dirt/mud to your face, and the ballad of orpheus is like the best item that ever came out on this site in all of its (nearly! O_O) 20 years of activity simply for the dirty feet option. in my not-so-humble opinion, that is. xd

Faded Racer is one of my favorite items to use too, not just for ATLA/TLOK cosplays but for almost all my stuff. Its a surprise that I'm not wearing it right now, although I'm still working on my current avatar as one of my star wars OCs (but have gone completely in a different direction lol).

I'd never heard of the Ballad of Orpheus item before, but yeah I agree its a fantastic item for the Earth Kingdom section!

Aw thanks! Yeah my threads are def based on my personal struggles for finding a good list for making pop culture characters- im still fighting the urge to just put what Id wear for sections in my star wars thread, which tbh I ought to just do bc it hurts no one.

Yeah I may just keep it as is bc its not half bad, but idk how long itll stay this way cause I just bought another hair item that I like and want to use. I agree with you, sometimes its just fun making jedi characters that are a person + a lightsaber and no other connection to the star wars universe lol cosplay is hard on this site, im still not 100% happy with my Cal Kestis one and its due to price inflation, cause thats the Gaia Way.

But so thats even more of a reason just to have fun and make your own characters, its just hard knowing what random item on Gaia is what youre looking for because it has a perfect item you dont know exists. That is, until its listed somewhere, like here!

okay gonna work on adding stuff! also editing titles and whatnot, i dont think its necessary to include the item name if I also need to describe what it resembles. Basically removing words here and there, especially on cosplay lists.

But that being the case I am also going through and making sure the item images match the item used, not just the main icon for that item listing. If that makes sense.

Update 04/30/22

- Added Night's Shadow+, hair to Extras
- Added Night's Ominous Shadow, Fairy Ellette, Clover Culture, and a few others to Earth Kingdom clothing
- Condensed the earthbending section into subcategories, removed titles
- Added dirt section to earthbending, didn't feel like it belonged elsewhere
- Added some clothes into the Fire Nation section
- Added more firebending items and created subcategories, removed labels for those in them


Update 2.0:

I'm changing the format to have subcategories in areas where there are a lot of items. I'm not going to sort everything today but if you look now you can see where I'm headed with the whole page. It'll cut down on how much the posts stretch as well as hopefully make it easier to find things on each post instead of having to look at every. single. item. If you just want a top or something.
