I am sure everyone is tired of the years old games.
I am seeing far far FAR less posting than years ago.

Why are YOU still here? I mean, I come here for Lifestyle general sometimes, but not all. I never see myself caring of the events anymore or anything either, which is a shame, because I used to be on this site non-stop.

There's 14k people on right now, yet, it still feels so.... dead.

I'm still here for the same reason that I joined Gaia. The forums.

I practically live in the GCD (more of a lurker), Pokemon, where I help tons of people and run a big thread even though it never got a Hot Topic with the release of ORAS and the community has grown small, and Site Feedback. Honestly I probably post more useful stuff now than when I started.

but all I do now is fish and chat with my gaia friends.

then I occasionally chat, dress up, and maybe if there's nice event to do (most of them is a chore lately)

not much, really. Gaia need to step up their site to compete with newer site rather than just make cash.
Add more feature or create environment where people can do more things in the site.
Gaia has so many sub-forum, each with different interest. I think Gaia should cater to them too and give such people feature they can use.
A gallery for artist to put up their art, A place for writer to write and share their writing/fiction (add function to rate, follow), etc.
They can add more things to housing, like people can have tiny garden, raise pet/livestock (all accessible from the house, even better if they can yield item). Make it so people have more use to it than meeting place in towns.

I used to play zOMG with my god-daughter, lurk around a couple of the forums, tinker with my avatars (I have two accounts-) and do some casual vending.

All that's really left now is the forum lurking and avatar-tinkering. I've more or less given up vending and, well, you know what happened to zOMG. neutral
