Clones age faster than regular humans :3

Ah, a fanthread with some discussion potential.

I've sympathized with the Gambino's in the past, they've kept the VonHelson family busy, leaving my kind to do our work in peace. Sure their genes have manifested every flaw that human kind has ever developed, from a destructive will power to hairy eyebrows, but in the end the Mansion is rebuilt and cures to what ever abomination they've created are released.

However, Labtech X has some questionable background (aside from the obvious) My cousins of Durem have noted that Labtech X was frequently seen passing packages to the VonHelson family. As if this was not enough, when Serpent Corp infiltrated SeaLab X that fateful night, and destroyed the monster this Clone created, he openly admitted that he had cut his ties to his father.

Since then we have been studying the technology found in X's old haunt for clues to future uprisings, back up plans if you will. Zhivago, a tick from the old ideals of the vampire, is up to something. I believe that Labtech X and Zhivago have teamed up. What is more worrisome is that future projects have a high chance of effecting Durem, and much of my business. This is made more evident when watching the video footage of this zOMG movement, X and Zhivago clearly show up in the same frame.

We will see X’s work again, and I fear the vampires loyal to Vladimir will be involved. Your thoughts?


As far as cloning goes, X is indeed an exact replica. Clones grow much faster, is is apparent by X's change from 2004/early 2005 to later that year. He was loyal, yes, but once that loyalty was tested he proved to be just as brilliant and insane as his father.

I was about to say what about signifigant growth change since he younger G-CORPian Labtech self to his humongous NeXuS self. But he's always been that big, right?

There are two explanations to that.

1) The Gaia world evolved, and they plot deviced him into his new size 23 shoes, or...
2) He was still at a "Gino" esque stage of his life during 2004, and grew from a teenager to an adult in that time.

As far as the second, I've been trying to talk business with Rancher Bill. I felt he would benifit from becoming a chain farmer, with the new extension of his business being located south of Durem. And if he were to expand, it would only make sense that he grow a new stock of garlic plants to keep those filthy blood drinkers away, yes?

Of course the idiot just smiled and told me that he had expanded his dinner from two steaks to three. stare

Well, that would be about the end of his growth (that growth happening during the year 2005), but no the development. I expect that if you were to remove X's filter feeding scarf today, he would look exactly like Gambino. However, if you look at him there, his features are unrefined. He keeps his hair shaved (and possible dyed) As time goes by they become more prominent, going from the smooth growing clone to the burly hairy man we know today.

Edit: Also, look at how baggy that labcoat is on him. More signs that he was not quite at a full Gambino stage.

Also, when the Zurg Flarn was revived they needed a bit of Human DNA

Well, that theory falls under category A) of "This is Gaia, that's a plot device. Merry Christmas!"
If I remember correctly, Labtech X was more or less a secret. Gambino was running the company, not X. X was, as he said, "Death insurance". A just in case. Johnny is still doing all of the work and acting as the President of the Company.

One must also consider that while they were cut from the same cloth, they did not share a mind link. It would be very difficult to have two different people running a company acting as one, especially since X was raised differently from Gambino, and thus had different ideas and different morals. Those ideas and morals were not an issue while he was blindly obedient, but he clearly went out against his fathers will on many occasions.
