Whimpers of pain surged through the area of Ki's arm and shoulder blade, numbing pain, after she had jumped from hearing her aunt behind her. "Alex," Ki stammered in shock, "What are you doing? Sneaking up on people like that?"
The tan skin was giving way to red as she felt embarrassed, sensing that Alex overheard the story as well. Hazel eyes averted to look back down into the mug only to realize that she had spilled half of the contants on her numb hand. A delayed reaction surely was uprising throughout her now. The mug was set upon the counter as she ran to grab a towel to wipe her hand free from the hot liquids, now feeling the pain.
"Firearms are cowardice and vile," she hissed under her breath while splashing cold water on her hand, stiffling the whimpers to the minimum.

Artemis walked over to Alex, wanting to help.

"Are you sure you're okay, Alex?" Artemis asked extending a hand to the woman, to help her up.

Ahh... there's one!! -he grabbed a glass and stood up. he found the tap, and started to fill the empty glass with beer all the way to the brim. he placed his drink on the bar. he slid out from the bar and back to his stool to take a sip of his beverage-

The kitsune was getting bored of just sittng there, not seeing much else to do. She licked her lips, thinking to herself, "Well, I haven't had much to drink in a while, I guess I can get something in the kitchen...." She got up, beginning to walk towards the kitchen to get something to drink. As she opened the door, beginning to walk into the kitchen, one of her pant legs got stuck in the door, her not being able to notice. THUD! She fell to the ground, landing face first onto the hard kitchen floor. She rubbed her face, pain flowing through it and most of her body. She layed on the floor, thinking to herself, "Man! I am so stupid! I was gone for all that time training, and I couldn't even see that my pant leg was stuck! I can't believe this! Just my luck!" She tried to get uptrying to use her right hand to get up, but found that she couldn't move it, seeing that she had landed on it with all her weight. She thought to herslef, even more angry than before, "Ah jezze! I can't believe this! Of all the stuff that could happen to me, I can't even use my right arm anymore! What are the odds?! Jezze! What next?!"

Artemis walked over to Alex, wanting to help.

"Are you sure you're okay, Alex?" Artemis asked extending a hand to the woman, to help her up.

*she nodded and took her hand, pulling herself up* Yeah, I am fine.....just a little clumsy today....*she smiled and released Artemis's hand to look at the man who was helping himself to the contents of the bar. Her eyes went from embaressed to angered curiousity as she studied the man* Umm, excuse me but, can I help you??

Aelii walked down the stairs, rubbing her forehead. She sighed softly and sat down on the couch. She ran a hand through her short auburn hair, her deep blue eyes looking around the Tavern.

...oh... uhh... -he looked kind of anxious from her words and smiled nervously scratching the back of his head- I didnt know anyone was here... I was gonna pay for it honestly. I just thought I'd help myself... my apoligies mam. -he gave innocent and nervous grin-

*she flashed him a charming grin, her brilliant blue eyes softening as she walked behind the bar to stand before him. The pendant that dangled from her neck mirrored the glowing color of her eyes as she smiled at him* You seem like an honest man, so I believe you. Besides, you dont have to pay for it. Most of our customers never do, so its nothing to worry about. *she moved her hair from her face, the fiery locks curling to framed her ivory face as she smiled at him and held out her hand* I am Alexandria Black, sister to the owner here. sorry if I sounded rude earlier, I just dont know you so I went defensive first *she continued to smile at him, her gaze never leaving his*

Ki drank the rest of the tea while keep a towel wrapped around her warm hand before leaving the kitchen it a fit of embarrassment that mingled with anger. An eye caught the sight of Rei, not putting her into any better of moods. Her suspisions of him were too high in her mind to dare and say much to anyone at this moment.
"Later," she waved her good arm towards the both of her aunts before walking out of the tavern, towards the lake to collect her confused thoughts together.

-he took his hand in to hers and grasped her hand to shake it. he became less nervous. his voice spoke in a light aussy accent- You can call me Rei. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Black. -he let go of her hand and pushed the dreads of hair coming out of his hat out of his eyes, something he did often-
