He stared at the calendar and the date of 2005, at first thinking that Kurohito had simply thrown it at him in a gesture that said 'find the date for yourself', but then he made the realization of the actuality of the situation. If this was true, he had been out for possibly seven months, and he did not even notice that he had missed his own 16th birthday.
"What kind of sick game are you all playing with me?"
He began to draw his blade, making the hilt visible on the right side of his body so that only Kurohito could see it and meant for this to be a threat, but then he noticed the stern and serious look on Kurohito's face.
Since when does he run a bar...?
"...I'll have the drink."
He sat down.

He recalled stopping in every once and a while, trying to pick a fight with one of the regular Volts named Tack, but he had usually been refused. For an instant, some hazy memory flashed through his head of him floating about the Fighters Guild as something like a...ghost...but he dismissed this as a dream.
"...Yeah. I do. What about it?"
He saw little to no significance to this question.

He sat forward, surprised he would remember such a question. Good, this will make things easier. After the fight, where you were turned over to the NPD, someone got ahold of your blood and after the NPD killed you, you were brought back, but not yourself. He nodded to Pocky as the Tea arrived, pouring himself a glass and then Kid one Here, have some tea after the Burbon, it calms the nervous sytem and puts you at ease. He took a dep breath and thought for a second, trying to think of other details. Coming with a blank, he shurgged. Well, after you were brought back you sorta dissappeared for awhile, until one day you showed up at Steele and attacked, decimating the place. You are aware of what the Steele Syndicate is, and if you know them, then you know Anime.... He finished off his Burbon, then went straight to his own tea, taking a sip of it, a delicious brew indeed

He then suddenly thought he could remember the end of he and Kurohito's duel, almost feeling the pain of his own limb being severed from his body and then steel being plunged into his right thigh. He started to grab for the spot and then stopped his hand before it moved. He had been in a daze afterwards and thought he might remember seeing the face of an NPD officer through a net and spotting a possible exchange of gold between the officer and Doji before blanking out. That was where it all ended for him.
"I know the Steele. And I know of pathetic, cowardess Salfazar ((Animedawg)) and his new 'Spyder Faction'.
But none of this makes any sense. The land of Gaia possesses a lot of magic users and strange creatures, and I've seen more things in the month I've been here--"
He remembered the calendar, but shrugged it off.
"--than in my entire life, or what I can remember of that life. But this...this...."
He turned and pushed his chair back, walking away with the cup of tea. He then stopped and let it drop to the floor, shattering and spilling the steamy liquid everywhere.
"...I like my bourbon alone."
He threw open the door, stepped outside into the alley, and slammed it behind him.
