zOMG Quest Reset Feedback Thread

Thank you so much for bringing zOMG back! And resetting the quests but The wish tree quest is not working for me when I go to the locations. When I go to the three areas they do not register that I went there.

i thought resetting Machine Repair would trigger the "Ranch Hand" badge. it didn't. what triggered, instead, was the "silent NPC bug". my PDA has the flag and quest 5 to return to Bill, but he is unclickable.

i did complete repairs on both windmills and tractor. at the moment, but i am just wondering if there's a specific quest that needs to clear before the badge is granted.

My only problem is it would be nice if bosses on easy were easier to beat.. I don't care if I get less gold and prizes for it, I just wanna be able to best the bosses.. Its getting harder to find crews so hope my words don't fall upon deaf ears..

Not only have you brought back our beloved zomg you are making it fun for us all again! the easter event/ halloween jack event was EPIC!

My feedback isnt too much different; I reset ALL the tasks except for the boss battles BUT some quests arent appearing in the right order. for example you have to collect feathers to make a feather boa for candice but when i talk to rina she sends me straight to candice assuming that i have already completed the feather boa without requesting me to make it.

So i have no feather boa for candice and i cant complete the quest. i cant even start it.
the quests that i can complete, when i go to the person whos quest i have completed i cannot click on them, theres not even a speech bubble available so i do not receive a reward and the quest stays incomplete in my quest box.

Some of the quests people are reporting as broken and not resetting are the glitched ones from before the game shut down. For example I never was able to get the quest to speak with Lin after defeating all quests before it to say I completed that section. I had to just go on to the next section because they said the quest was bugged.

I reset the quest on Upgrading a Ring which is done by talking to Elizabeth. I am now able to talk to Trixie once again but unfortunately (probably?) has nothing to do with that specific quest. Elizabeth is still silent sad

Hello Everyone!

I've heard that there are problems with certain quests not being reset properly through the quest reset feature. So I'm starting this thread to collect all your feedback.

Please note that after any quests are reset, you must exit zOMG, wait 10 minutes before going back in for the cache data to expire.

I'm working on bringing back the Easter event right now, but I'll get back to fixing issues with the reset feature once I've finished.

I gotta thank you for this reset feature, Lanzer. I spent yesterday morning helping a stronger player get re-attuned in DMS, and it was such a great time!

can you explain HOW one can reset a quest? I have one for instance (Into the Fray) where i have to report back to agent C. but he never wants to talk with me. It doesn't matter what CL i lower to. I would like to get rid of that one if i can, but i do not know how.

I was looking for that feature in the wrong place apparently. I thought one would be able to reset quests inside zOMG! itself.
I noticed another thing though that i wasn't even aware of. Apparently i have one quest i cannot reset at all. There is no checkbox after the Popstar Guitar gold quest (see image).

Any idea on how to reset that one?

Hello 4laugh mainly been stuck on the "re-composing" quest. it seems that it takes 1-2 hours for the monsters to spawn the items i need. like for instance, 1 item every 30 minutes.

These are the problems I'm having so far.

Finding Elizabeth: Unable to talk to Elizabeth.
Candy's Boa: She just says her normal dialogue. And nothing about a feather boa from Rina.
Ellie's Friends: Allows you to talk to The Maestro, but not Agatha & says you've talked to Agatha after you've talked to The Maestro.
Olivia's Cookies: Allows me to deliver cookies to Martha, but not John nor William.

There's also a red flag on the fountain in Barton, but no task attached to it.

So I tried a test on resetting the main questlines, and a couple of quests done on Leon (the Gnome and Flamingo Trial), there goes Finding Elizabeth. Elizabeth however, isn't showing a . . . bubble so I can talk to her. So yeah, stuck at that part.

NPCs like the Maestro and Agatha the Jewler in Barton are not clickable.
I can't complete Olivia's Cookies Quest because it doesn't register that I talked to the people I need to in order to complete the quest. There are many other quests where you can't talk to the NPCs or you can't complete the quest. Many of these problems have been present since before zOMG! was closed.

I tried to reset the Stoocie quest for Bill's Ranch. I was able to go get Stoocie and bring her back and then start Machine Repair.... And then Bill goes right back to calling for Stoocie like before so I can't finish the other quests.
