I have been on Gaia since late '03 and the biggest item craze I have witnessed was for the Kiki Kitty Plushie (March '05 MC). We all went crazy for this cute little kitty! So to mark Gaia's decade of existence, I have decided to raffle one off, for free!

A DECADE OF MEMORIES
Below you can find some of the fond memories Gaians have had over the years.

THeSLuSH: User run panty auctions. Popular back in '04, prominent users would auction off their underwear to the highest bidder. A 200g piece of underwear would sell for thousands!!
Diamond Nines: Memories of how everyone fishes and meeting new people. Everyone watching a trailer at the the theater and throwing popcorn at someone. xD
Bloodynewmoon: Starting my first RP in Baron Town in 2007. It wound up being very popular and lasted six months.
Frosty Peaches: Rejected Olympics 2008, washing Liams hot body!
Xo-Para-oX: The times when I finished my gaia avis. It felt so good to complete a dream avi and it sure was worth doing so. I find myself confused after finishing dream avis and just have to continue on. And I've completed 5 in the past and all the memory of hard work is bitter sweet.
tsunke ano: When I realized there was a gaia manga page emotion_drool I think I stayed up reading them all for like 2hr.
MsLyricism: Back when there were only around ten shops, and you had to use the little world map to get to any of them. x3
Kay9214: Smashing into Gaians across a bacon slide, yelling at Dark Elves, that huge water balloon fight, ghost lips in the theater, Santa Kay running all over Gaia, all kinds of things! But there's one thing all of these treasured moments have in common. The amazing community of users behind it. Be it Slushee and her constant crazy contests (( blaugh )), the sith that ran against me in that last election, my ninja pals, an old brotherhood of assassins, that spy that likes to harass me, the Brits I argue with through profile comments, my assorted collection of crazy companions over in my chat, my fellow WGers, or the all kinds of other complete sociopaths without whom my time here would not be so wonderful. cat_3nodding
Waiting For Your Whistle: The birth of the lovably random fact finder Diedrich! classified_diedrich I also really love the events, especially between towns (the water balloon fight as one of the best). Go Team Durem!!!
MistressBOnNER: my favorite memory of gaia is a little bit on the personal side. my absolute best time on gaia is when i drew well enough that people actually wanted me to draw their avatars. i felt so happy with myself, i drew for days, and every time i thought of gaia, i smiled. i was just so very happy, gaia helped me prove to myself that i was a good artist. to this day, gaia is my number one tool for improving my art, and improving myself. my art before gaia helped me find my artistic strength: click ... and my art today: click
