hey guys im at fafnir server.
I just level WHM to 50 like a week ago.

im still confused about the armor, im slowing getting there.
I was trying to farm my relic weapon but
when I went into a dungeon, I had encounter an elitist (is that wat it is)
and well.. it wasn't that well.

like I want to get better armor but I can't because im low lvl
and the other people get pissed because im low lvl
what am I supposed to do?

I don't blame them, I never ask for them to baby sit me
but still I sort of feel bad of playing this game late
instead when it first came out, maybe I would have experienced
the first time with everyone else.

oh well..

I've never run into issues like that on Faerie, but here's some advice, watch videos on dungeons before you do them for the first time, so you're familiar with boss mechanics and the layout. Second, don't go straight into bigger dungeons like the raids, slowly increase your item level up. I'm assuming "low level" is referring to item level here, since 50 is the level cap. Start with dungeons that give ilvl 60 gear, and just go up from there. Lastly, have you joined a Free Company? I joined a FC that's been very kind and helpful to me since the beginning, they helped me get through most of the important story dungeons/trials, and I help them in return. It's a great relationship to have, if you find a good FC.

You can also buy higher ilvl gear on the Market Board, but most of the time it won't be cheap.

actually yes I did join a FC, i was happy enough they help me get a 60 ilvl gear
(apologies for not using the word lvl in armor only)
I was 62 ish lvl gear when the tank told me about it, he was mad because
he won't get any crit heals lol.

this post has been a bit old, because now im at 103 lvl gear
(yay!!!!) and i sort of being doing raids, watching videos like you said.
thou its been hard, even watching videos, and being a healer is bit stressful for the first time xD

Im just trying to catch up as fast as I can before the expansion.
I also don't have any jobs in the ''land or hand'' yet.
because right now what Im lacking is, coins. : (

Don't worry about doing any Disciples of Hand or Land, those are more like extras you can do.
And yes healing can be difficult, I'm a White Mage, somewhere around ilvl 110, so I get what you mean. It's all about intuition and thinking ahead really, always making sure any action you take won't be a waste of MP. All I can say is to just practice and read guides.

Unfortunately the way SquareE has things set up there is no way for purposeful cross server play. (Unless you count willingly entering into the Duty Finder, but it is randomized.) I play on Faerie...
