i used to reconfigure the controls when i had the snes version of sf2.
the medium attacks were moved to the shoulder buttons so all i had on the main pad were jab and fierce buttons.
i got comfortable with the R1 and R2 fierce buttons on playstation after that
yeah, fierce for the dreamcast is L trigger. Such an awkward button to press.

yeah they were never really that good. It was a comfortable layout but the quality wasn't there yet. the 360 controller nailed it though.

it's also strange how sega went down from 8-button controller (saturn) to 6-button controller (dreamcast)
