If yourself so against this thread, why don't you report it?

I already did when it first came out. It hasn't died yet.

I guess the Mods don't have the same opinion on thread as you do.

No. There was once this "Hi, how are you? Lets bump!" thread that never got moved as well. They simply did not see this thread at that time, and as it has already been reported, cannot be so again.

I saw one about '???' today and it was moved very quickly.
I have seen and experienced similar situations, and I agree with you.
Wow...your teacher is messed up, you should try to report her to the supervisor or someone higher up and get her fired. Thats what my friend did to a teacher at our school.
I think your teacher is right except for the goth girl, that was just dumb but she do the right things and Billy should learn to shut the f*ck up,school is like that,if you can't behave yourself then get below...

all teachers do that it iritates me

Maybe it does iritates you but most of the time it's for your own good yet you can't realise it because you're blinded by the fact they jsut pissed you off.
That is just how teachers are.

Ok, theres a teacher at my highschool who is always budding into my friends and my lives and just really getting on my nerves

(names of my friends have been changed)

example one:
My friend 'Annie' was having a hard time at home and it effected her work. Although she is a smart girl, her grades started to slip. My teacher (at teacher/parent confrences) told her parents that she thought 'Annie' should be placed in regular classes. So her parents agreed to it and Annie was placed in them during the MIDDLE of the school year, changing her WHOLE lin of classes. So she pretty much told Annies parents that annie wasn't smart enough and just becuase she was doing bad in her class meant she was doing bad in all her other classes and she wouldn't be able to raise her grades again.

Example two:
My friend 'Luna' wore some really baggy black pants (from hot topic) and a black dog collar she barrowd from another friend to school. The next day Luna was pulled out by my teacher at the beginning of class and was gone for 5-6 minutes. When she came back she told us that my teacher had said she thought she had dressed wrongly and that she shouldn't make fashion statemeants but instead work on her school work. She also old Luna that she had a student who started to dress like she had and their grades fell. so she pretty much told her that if she dressed 'gothic' her grades drop badly

Example three:
This ones about me, ok I'm not the strongest in math right but I keep a c-b grade. Well when it came time to pick classes for next year my teacher told me she thought I would be able to make it through chemistry alright and that she would place me in honors again. THEN she was talking to my mom (parent/teach night for half 4th term) and she told my mom that she hadn't even recomended me to the people who help place the classes. She had also told my mother that she told me she would to "keep my spirts up" so really she just lied to me to try and get me to keep working my butt off in her class

Example four:
My friend 'Billy' has some kid of brain disorder that makes him really hyper but he's still really really smart. (his parents don't think he has a hyper prob) Anyway, he's a really smart kid and all but sometimes he gets off track and he LOVES to joke around. Well my teacher is always telling him to get off the crack and always yells at him for being loud when really everyone knows he has a problem staying quiet for a little less than an hour. So he's always getting in trouble from her

so what do you think? do you think my teacher buds into peoples lives more than a teacher should?

kids are always talking about how no one understands them, and how adults never listen. You should be happy if a teacher actually cares about the well being of a student. That means your not just a job to them, but that they actually do want to help construct you. People need to realize teachers arent the enemy. They are just trying to help you the best way they know how. Its not that they are always right, but you need to see that they are trying to help, not hurt you. They want to see you suceed. Teachers typically dont get paid verymuch, so chances are they are doing this job because they care. And if you got something going on in your life, they should want to help you. DOnt be imbarrased to seek help from an elder. Remember that wisdom is beautiful, and that teachers would most likely have a lot of it, they used to be students too, and in many cases still are. Listen to them, seek them.

first, i think a gal with a leash is cute.... second, yes, they need to stand back, on alot of them
maybe she's concerened...or maybe she wants to be helpful?
i think with your math case, she wanted you to see your potential. It sounds like you slack off. You got to realize that you cant do that, you hsould always try to work to the best of your ability, and not take for granted what you have. Also with the Hyper kid, if he is distracting others, and preventing the other kids from learning, then maybe he should be moved into another kind of learning environment, or giving meds.

For example one...that a load of crap. Just because someone is having problems at home...doesn't mean that they aren't still smart! I consider myself smart and when I have problems at home...my grades go down a bit. It is because I don't do my homework...don't concentrate on the class etc...but just because that stuff happens because of problems...doesn't mean you aren't smart anymore! And...usually...when things get better...your grades get up again. That's what happens with mine.

For example two...it is just plain stupid! Just because you shop at Hot Topic and wear clothes from Hot Topic...doesn't mean you are going to become gothic and become stupid. NO! I shop at Hot Topic and wear the clothes...doesn't mean I'm going to go goth and become stupid! The only reason my mom lets me where them is because I get good grades!

For example three...A TEACHER SHOULDN'T LIE TO A STUDENT!!! Teachers talk about us not lying...then they go and do it themselves...bunch of bullshit! I mean...if a teacher wants you to work your butt off for the class...and they say they are going to put you in a higher class the next year...then they should do it! They shouldn't lie to a student and then to the parents! Bunch of BS!

For example four...I do understand that in a way...the teacher is just trying to keep the class down...that's all. But...he does have a problem that he can't help but be hyper...then she really shouldn't yell at him...telling him to get of crack. That's kind of stupid to yell at a kid about getting off crack when she should know that he has that problem. anyway...i do understand that one...trying to keep the class down...that's all she is trying to do. but...yelling crap like that to a student...stupid.
Your teacher is a little more involved, but I see no problem with what they're doing. So you don't like them, big deal.

ook that teacher scares me! I know she probably is just worried and is trying to help, but she's going about it the wrong way, she needs to first understand the students and not to just go right on and yell at them. I know from experience about what your talking about, my bio teacher is like that and he is always getting a little to personal...but he does it in a funny way so you don't really notice. Lets just say he is a wrestling coach and always threatens headlocks and stuff...its so funny to listen to him threaten other students!

But I'm off the topic some what, yes your teacher sucks and needs to get a life!
