Well, most kids who run around calling themselves "goth"" do, in my experience, make horrid grades. Mostly because they tend to be raging retards.

But in that case, it would be more appropriate to take issue with the grades themselves rather than the clothing.
the only thing is she's only dressed that way once really this year and my teacher labels gothic

Some people should butt out or quit. I say option 3 get her fired, she sounds like she deserves to be. I've only one teacher to be like that but it was only to me, but hell she was annoing. I can't help but feel the pain here, try keeping your head up and telll her off sometimes not enough to get a suspension but enough to put her in her damn place.
I don't even know how I annoy her stare I think it's over something that happened with a stupid essay she made us write and my mom wouldn't let me do it .... ever since that day she's been hitting me around (not really hitting, but giving me a hard time)
It's like we have he same teacher, I refused to do a report on "Religious beleifs." Mostly cause I knew if I wrote down what I thought I'd get expelled for not being catholic and that would be found in my report. So now any little thing she nails me for. ( not literally)

Look, if 'Annie' wasn't doing her work correctly, the teacher had a right to place her in an environment of her appropriate learning capacity. She wasn't saying that Annie was dumb- ANNIE DIDN'T DO HER HOMEWORK.

If Annie had cared that much about her class, she should have gone to your teacher with an explanation, not crying about it after ten missed assignments.
she did and she was trying to make up the homework, but she has "problems" at home

Uh-huh.

I doubt it. You're just vomiting out nonsense now.
Well, that's certainly obnoxious. Our teachers don't have a say so in what classes we take if we have A_B_C averages.
The only one I think is REALLY wrong is instance 2.

It would be unfair to let "Billy" be disruptive in class and not get mad when a) other people are trying to do work and b) no one else could get away with the same crap. From your post I'm assuming he hasn't be diagnosed with a learning disorder so the whole "I'm always hyper" buisness just don't fly. If he was that bad perhaps he should be moved to one of the special classes where he can act goofy. Win-win situation really. The Keeners get to concentrate. He still get's challenged academically...

If Annie couldn't maintain good enough grades to stay in a class perhaps it's better she moved down to the regular classes. Moving in the middle of the year doesn't mean jack-all. People do it all the time. "Annie" could even be more comfortable in these regular classes. Since she was removed form the other classes it could be possible that she wasn't do too well in those either. The majority of teachers, if they have a great student, won't switch them out of their course.

Yeah...I don't think so their are tons of things that could happen at home to affect a kids grades. And most kids would like to work through it but sometimes it's just too hard.
I think the only wrong one was the Hot TOpic-pants one. She just seems to be offering her advice on your course selections, or trying to keep your spirits up, whichh a good teachr does. I'D be angry at the parents who keep taking her 'suggestions' as must-do's.

If her home problems are preventing her from being able to keep up in a higher-level class, then it seems that it would be best for everyone involved if she steps down and takes a class for which she can complete the work. When her "problems at home" are sorted out, perhaps it can be arranged for her to re-join the more advanced courses.

At least your polite and make sense when saying that. Can't argue with a good point if it's put in good words.

Look, I know a ton of kids who have problems at home and still manage to get their classwork done. If they have problems, they go to the library and study there- anything to get away from their homelife.

This sounds more like a petty excuse.

Besides, it sounds like it would be better for Annie to handle a lowerlevel management class instead of a more high level maintence class, yes?
