Jack was great, short-lived (not technically) but great. But Martha definitely takes the cake for me. She was so.... real? I don't know, I just preferred her, next is definitely Donna though. They are all great in their own way though

I couldn't stand Rose after a while. >.> Martha had her wonderful moments [lots of!] but for me, Donna was the best. Though Wilf! If only he could have been a companion!

Donna and Rose are my favourites ^^ I just loved the connection that the Doctor and Rose had. But Donna is too great a character to ignore, she had everything that a companion should have and was exactly what the Doctor needed! Someone who took no nonsense but was still fun and charming. Her story was the most upsetting as she will never know the amazing times she had. Catherine Tate did an amazing job at portraying the character.

My least favourite is Martha because I felt like all she wanted was to be the Doctor's girlfriend and he (as well as I) were far too raw after losing such a beautiful connection that I found Martha irritation and just in the way. When she appeared in the series later she was a much more likable character, once she'd gotten over her little crush I could respect her.

Dona hands down for me.Mostly she didn't take any crap from The Doctor.She told The Doctor what is on her mind,and if he did something she didn't agree with,she had no problem of telling him like it is.But at the same time care about him and,support him when he did it.Most of all she being a friend for him and not trying to be a lover.The Doctor needed a mate,a friend.Not a lover of gf/bf.Some one to tell him when hi is be a idiot.And Donna was just that cat_biggrin cat_smile cat_blaugh
