Aim of the Sons of Gaia

This clan is for the men of Gaia. For the men who want to band together and fight as one in this new battle world.

What makes us special? We are an all-male brotherhood, and fight without the distraction of our female counterparts on the battlefield.

We are affiliated with the Sisterhood of Gaia, and fight alongside our sisters, lending our support as siblings to the cause.

4. Any member of the Sons of Gaia MUST have a male avatar. If someone in the clan notices that a member is not a male, said member will be dealt with accordingly.
   
   
5. BUMP-ing IS allowed.
   
   
6. Racism, rudeness, and all-around unpleasantries will NOT be tolerated!
   
   
7. Should your conduct be unbecoming, you will receive one warning. The next time, a demotion in rank. The third time - probation until your attitude changes.
   
   
8. If you act in such a way that the Elders deem is completely unacceptable and warrants severe punishment, you WILL be immediately banned from the clan and guild. However, this will be such an extreme case, that most likely Gaia itself shall deem you expendable. eek
   
   
9. If you are a member of another clan, that will not prevent your membership into the Sons of Gaia. However, it is required that any other clan(s) you may be involved in form an alliance with the Sons of Gaia, before we can accept your membership into our clan.
   
   
10. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you become friends with your fellow brothers, once you become part of the clan. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Brother to choose his own path.
    
    
11. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you subscribe to this thread, as rules may change - the Patriarch will post here to let everyone know of any changes to rules. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Brother to choose his own path.
    
    
12. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you become friends with the Daughters of Gaia, our Sisters, once you become part of the clan. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Brother to choose his own path.

How to Join:
Merely post in here, and send a PM to the Head Recruiter Duke_Azriel, or the Assistant Recruiter Brian-san. Let the clan know why you want to join as well as what you feel you can bring to the clan.

Once you have been accepted into the clan, there will be a grace/probationary period of 4 days. You will have access to the guild ... However, your activity will determine if you will stay a member. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO JOIN IF YOU DO NOT THINK YOU WILL BE ACTIVE.


Rules of the Ranks:

• ALL RANKS are subject to change.
  
• Ranks and Promotions are determined by the Recruiting Department and/or the Clan Patriarch, up to the level of Lord.
  
• Promotion to the Council of Elders require first a nomination by an existing Elder, then a majority vote by all Elders.
  
• You will be assigned a Title when you join. You may request a Title or a change of Title, and its validity to your character and conduct will determine if it is accepted.

What is the difference between Clan Rank and Battle Rank?

• The Clan Ranks listed below are like your class within Clan Society.
• The Battle Ranks listed at the bottom dictates your level of authority within the Clan Army.
  

How do you develop your Clan Ranking?

• Demonstrate your leading ability (this could be from arranging a clan battle to recruiting members)
  
  
• Demonstrate your level of maturity
  
  
• Demonstrate your ability to act as a leader within the clan to those who may need assistance or falter
  
  
• Demonstrate your ability to follow the rules

EVERYONE (in the clan) is a Son of Gaia, and is therefore a Brother.


How do you develop your Battle Rank?

• The top two Battle Ranks, Heroes and Champions, are reserved for Elders and Squad Commanders respectively.
  
  
• Elders command our clan's overall war strategies, and Squad Commanders dictate the deployment of their own troops. Therefore, these ranks are reserved for them in order to give them the authority required for their job.
  
  
• If a Hero is a member of a Squadron led by a Champion commander, he shall obey the orders of his Squad Commander when on the battlefield, for it is the Squad Commander's job to deploy formations into the battlefield. The Hero's position is to deliberate on clan and guild issues, alliances, and strategies, which is normally done in the War Room or at Sons of Gaia HQ.
  
  
• The ranks for Non-Commanding Officers are determined solely on "Total Energy", which is your level of Experience within the actual MMO game.
