Things did not work as I had hoped. I began to feel that I was not running the clan as it should have been, and then when I started working a lot, I was unable to give the clan the attention that it deserved. I was unable to think of things for the clan to participate in, as I was not a large fan of Zomg, and it was hard to get the members together to compete in any sort of thread based thing. I saw that Micchiru was stepping forward and keeping the thread as active as it could be during my absences, and so I took a small leave, to see if she could take charge while I was gone, and how she would do with the position. She seemed to do well enough, and so I figured, rather than holding onto the clan while I was not really keeping active with it, I had two options, close it, or hand it to one someone else. I will admit, I began to think of ways to simply rp a death of the clan by creating a mule and amassing a small attack force to kill off the members... But that began to remind me of how the original Ryu was destroyed, and the chaos and negative feelings that stemmed from that, so I chose a different route. I chose the latter, seeing as how there were still those that loved the snake and those that they had met in it, and I did not want to cast them out.
Sometimes, in order to be a good leader, you have to know when to step down and allow another to take your place.
