know what i did about it...i dressed in every way i could think. i have chains, black clothing, spikes, all sorts of freaky things...and then i have fluffy things and white things and all sorts of preppy things. i dress in a way that no one knows what to call me because i look different every day.

i'm not 'goth', and i'm not 'prep', i just want to make a point that no one has to dress just one way.

I have alot of dark colors.. It's cold up here and I'm from a warm climate so... I wear black alot, keeps the heat better from the sun and all. I love fuzzy things velvet and those nifty fuzzy shirts that almost feel like fur of some type whee Kimono's are REALLY good for lounging around the house. I dun like to wear white though.... cause I can never seem to keep it clean, not matter how hard i try razz . I think I have a little of everything, but it still dun free me from the weird groups. I'm just me... lol and you're just you... sooner or later this truth will be realized by more then just a few and things will begin to get better.

what would really be good...is if everyone (not just the 'goths' actually) would stop feeling sorry for themselves. i haven't had a really happy life, but i don't care because i changed things and i'm happy now, and i'm going to work to change things for other people as i get older.

so true. I'm mostly happy. As happy as I can be anyway. I don't think things will ever changein my lifetime. I can hope and pray they will but I don't think it will happen.

people who call themselves goth arent hopeful at all, they just complain about their lives consistently. You see the people in Africa and who were in the tsunami and they have HOPE

...... I do not call myself that. it is what OTHERS tend to call me because of what I wear and what I listen to. I've even gotten it because I'm pagan and wear a penticle around my neck. Not everyone people stick into that sterotype are what the sterotype is at all. I have hope and plenty of it. I have hope for my daughter, for my younger sister, my neices and nephews. I have hope for the people who can change. and I pray for those who continously group people as if it were meant to be that way. I have hope for out future, but that does not mean things will be the way I hope they will anytime soon, not in my life or my childrens or grand childrens, it just means that I beleive it can be and I beleive that one day it just might be.. I HOPE.

as long as you effect the world around you...you never know if it might spread from one person to another. that is how things happen most of the time...after all, i'm sure it was someone's idea to create a 'gothic' style. couldnt have been a spontaneous decision made by everyone all at once. that's why they are (or were) seen as original, because they were at one time.

you don't have to dress one way...in fact it's most surprising when a person wears things that contradict...it gets peoples attention, and tells them that anyone can be anything and wear anything, if people don't want to be called a goth...well they could always dress in a way that surprises the world in a new way. wear pink 'preppy' things and pentacles...

I tend to just be jeans t-shirts, old style dressed.. I love those shirts with the flowing sleeves.. and anything fuzzy.heh... lol I have stuff like that, and I always wear my pentacle, it's just that no one notices it unless I'm in dark clothing.

well twinks are really ditzy people, most don't like them at all and they basically just talk about shopping, guys, makeup, hair, etc. Dont they sound interesting? xp

only if I suddenly was REALLY worried about my hair, needed a makeover badly, and was really worried about what people thought I was wearing and didn't know what to get lol! I know the type you speak of. I just tend to call them mirror lovers cause the people I have known like that every time they pass a mirror they have to look at themselves in it for some reason.
