As I cruise the Chatterbox, I often come across little hangout threads were people can come in chat and mess about and make friends, and just have a good time all around.
Well, sort of.
It's only been recently that I've found that some hangout threads are less...sociable than others. I often find that if you haven't been posting in a thread from the beginning, you're either given a short less-than-friendly 'hello' or just out right ignored. That's pretty ******** mean, honestly.
I'm at least ninety percent certain that I'm not the only one who feels this way, which leads me to the purpose of this thread. A place where anyone and everyone can come in, sit down and goof off with a bunch of other ********. Yeah!
Laws and rules invented by THE MAN, man
1) Be excellent to each other. If there's one thing no one likes to do, it's interacting with a douchebag. You don't want to do so in a bar, so why tolerate it online?
2) Literacy, first and foremost, is highly appreciated. I'm not gonna say it's a requirement, but keep in mind that a proper spelled and punctuated post is easier to read than...one that has shitty spelling and punctuation.
3) My house, my rules. I am like unto a god all up in this place. Got a quibble and issue, take it up with me.
4) Make an effort to talk to everyone. It'll help bring people in and it'll help you make friends. And we all like having friends.
5) Begging for gold and/or items isn't cool, dude. You come here and hang around, not to bite at people's ankles and ask for fake currency.
6) Bumps aren't cool either. Just no.
7) Don't come in and be a b***h. Don't do it.

Avatar Dress-up Days! - These are just random and we do them whenever. A theme is chosen and everyone in the thread changes their avatar to match the theme.
CAPSLOCK DAY - AT THE END OF EVERY MONTH, EVERYONE IN THE THREAD TYPES IN ALL CAPS. GETS THE AGGRESSION THAT'S BUILT UP OVER THE COURSE OF THE MONTH. YOU CAN RANT ABOOT WHATEVER'S EATING YOU, OR JUST PAL AROUND AND SHOUT AT PEOPLE. FUN TIMES EITHER WAY.
WE KNOW TALENTED PEOPLE
I really like art. Like a lot. So if I see or get any cool TBNL-themed art, this is where it goes. The skill level doesn't matter, so long as I find it cool or funny or whatever.
