Eyelashes flutter, eyes open and there is a moment of pure question. She can't remember anything at all, only her name. It was as if she had simply popped into existence without warning.
Maybe she had. She really had no way to know. Attempting to sit up, she swayed dangerously, her stomach threatened to empty itself. Her vision blurred for a moment and her head felt like it was hollow, the sounds pouring in felt like they were too much, even though there wasn't much noise going on around her.
Deep breath.
She exhaled and finally let herself absorb everything around her; finally realizing it was a forest she was inside. Taking another moment, she finally staggered to her feet. A long, flowing white dress, a line of ruffled fabric trailed diagonally up the dress, meeting at top of the right shoulder, like a toga almost. She wore long white gloves, nearly covering the entirety of her arms. They both did a good job of hiding her figure and frame. Her skin was almost completely devoid of color; the exception being a light blush in her cheeks, and her lips, they were a light rosy pink. Her wings were large and sturdy, the feathers were distinct and neatly placed. Her tail feathers reflected the same neatness.
Everything about her seemed white in some way; even her eyes, they were a polished silver colors. The only thing genuinely felt out of place, was the both vibrant and deep red hair she had. Slightly messy at the top, a few tresses flowed loosely, the rest was braided down to the side, neatly tied with a black ribbon, as the ends curled perfectly around itself.
She seemed to stumble through the forest without much issue. Her mind seemed to be completely void on any thoughts or memories, so she focused on getting out of, the swamp she was now in. Though, truly, she didn't even know where she was going, or why for that matter, but she let her body lead the way, as her mind certainly didn't know. After what felt like hours, she finally saw a castle of sorts. Clueless if that was where she was suppose to be, she had to assume it was better than staying outside. She slowly made her way to the castle, taking in everything, before she really even knew it, she nearly walked face first into the door. Only stopping a moment before so, she blinked several times, she felt warm and fatigued. She felt like something was watching her, but when she looked around, she saw no one.
The words upon the door seemed to almost speak for themselves.
Her mind found the sin, and her mind gave her some insight for a brief moment. She opened her mouth, and a whispered voice came out.
"Keres, and I'm guilty of Gluttony."
As the doors opened, she looked around again, still feeling like someone was watching her. Deciding she'd rather take her chances inside than outside, she stepped into the castle.
Scanning every detail inside, she was almost in a trance, absorbing every single thing around her.
((I realized this as I was about to fall asleep. She's not an angel, in any sense of the word. Figured the feather tail should be enough, but just in case. She's not an angelic being of any kind.)
