Oh! I've heard of 'blue bloods' before, but I thought of it as just a term, so I didn't make the connection... Plus as often as the brothers died in the movie, I would've expected to happen more often before making the connection.

Well, we didn't really see any of them bleed. Secundus fell out the window, Tertius died poisoned and Septimus was voodoo-ed xd Also, their ghosts were black and white, so even if the one with the axe on his head had blood, it would've been gray rofl Primus is the only one we see bleed, really.

I get your point, though. Maybe one of the other deaths should've been bloody, to make the connection easier. Perhaps they just wanted it to be one of those small jokes that not everybody catches xp

That, and having the only blood in the film look obviously fake makes the entire movie a whole lot more "family friendly".
