i need advice: how do i write a resume for a first job?

Hey ho!! You came to the right place razz I just made mine~
Basically, I have some tips:
-Include the right information, no typos especially your phone number or email!!
-Spell check everything right smile
-Make sure you include somewhat of a short summary of what you can offer to the people you wanna work with. probably less than 350 words or so? short paragraph anyways^^
-I've laid mine out with two columns one big section with information about my education, employment history, summer about me, work experience, ect. Then the smaller column I have as a placeholder for my references, hobbies, my capabilities (eg. team worker, punctual ect..), it could also be a place to have your skills listed on the side.
-Make sure your work experience is quite relevant to the job you're applying to. However if you dont have any experience with the job you wanna apply to at least put two experiences. And if you dont have any experiences at all, including maybe your voluntary work ect.
-My cv has my picture on it, I guess it kinds helps.
-Make sure the whole thing kinda works well together so just use one font for the whole CV but maybe make your name in bold and also more important information in italics <3

Im a student but have had a lot of experience in food retail and bar work. But I still applied for a call center work for a bank, it doesnt interfere with my university so I thought I'd give it a go~


Tips for applying and getting a job or a mere interview:
Apply to many places that you do enjoy working in, dont narrow yourself down because experience is everything.

Dont be afraid, make sure you do understand the company youre applying to and know it well to represent them well in whatever role you want to achieve.

Even if you dont get the job atleast you have other jobs you're waiting to hear back from. Hahaha!

Do you have to do anything now? Big question, if you dont know what to do, do you really need to make a decision now?? Better yet to focus on what you can really do. That is you. <3 If they only need you when it suits them then theyre not worth your time. If you still care for them then let them come to you instead smile .

Hey I know anxiety is difficult, what ifs are hard. Been there myself... Just do you, be happy being with yourself. people will just come to you naturally because theyll be attracted to your amazing self smile you wont need to make decisions like that anymore--! razz
