There are 5 days until Christmas!

This thread runs off of everyone on Gaia! Here at the thread the owner and Moderators will do contests, games, random events and give out gifts and prizes to the winners. Everyone is welcomed to participate in the thread, but first you must donate a small fee of 1,000 gold to the thread (Send trade request to Decisive Oathkeeper and I'll put you on the Donator/Members list). Having the 1k fee helps raise funds for our giveaway, so if you can donate more than 1,000 gold, its greatly appreciated! I have personally set aside +500,000 gold for this thread as well.

well yup thats me. I'd like to think I am a nice person and funny at times. My favorite color is blue. I love CHEESECAKE! I like the final fantasy and kindgom heart series and like all sorts of different kinds of genres of music (except for bluegrass/country, rap w/ swears, screaming music...basically anything too extreme I dont like). Get to know me at this thread or any other place on Gaia...and I'll put you on the Nice list for extra bonuses during giveaways! is the thread's Assistant/Mod. Also, joining the thread staff for the first time is Lil_kitty_TNA. Now, I just have to say before anything, Kitty is one of the most friendliest people I've met on Gaia. IT was actually because of this, that Kitty took the award for Most Sincere during our 2009 Ice Awards and took away a Classilke for it! She's been a member of our thread since the very first Christmas Giveaway in 2008, so she knows the ropes around the thread! I'm really glad to have her join the staff. This year, I'm excited to tell everyone, the theme is *DRUM ROLL*

"The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!!!"

Storyline for this years Christmas Givewaway

TASK: The Grinch Stole our Christmas...funds and crew. So Santa needs our help! What we need to do to is raise over 3 Million gold and find members to fill up our Staff positions. Sounds easy right!? Well there's a catch, we are under a time limit and we only have until 18th of December to help Santa prepare for Christmas! But don't get weary Gaians, we can do it!

I'm not going to list out all of the rules, becuase I know that you people should know what is appropriate on Gaia or not. I must ask though that you keep everything on a PG-13 level or below.

December 11th - Rich Day/Poor Day (Show your wealth or noob down as we come together despite our Gaian Class)

December 12th - Cosplay/Costume Day (The day to be someone you've always wanted, and maybe some 3rd person RP talk!)

December 13th - Mixed Match/Crazy Hair Avi Day (The day to let loose and be crazy)!

December 14th - Animal/Nature Day (Rawr, Moo, Ruff, Meow...*silence in spot of trees and plants* o.O)

December 15th - Twin Day (Today we'll be seeing doubles...literally!)

December 16th - Who's Who Day (To we will all dress up in the same avatar, see last post)

Once we have past the page, I will generate a number (1-15) and depending on what number is generated, that number poster will win the prize. (Ex: If I generate a 3...then the 3rd poster will win). Day: December 20th, 2010
Time: 8:00pm Eastern time - whenever we get tired.
What to wear: Come in a semi-formal to formal avatar (if you could wear blue, white, silver, or gray that would be nice)
RSVP: If you plan on attending the Ice Awards tonight, please add Life_Changer_Mule to your friends list. The Ice Awards location on Gaia will be in a journal set to "friends only" at 8pm. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE THE LINK. If someone asks tell them to send Decisive Oathkeeper a PM.

Description: We will all gather at the MTV Hills (the room will be provided in Life_Changer_Mule's journal) to celebrate the end of the giveaway and the 2010 year. We will be presenting the Special awards on front page to the nominee....then we'll announce the winners one by one. The winners will give some sort of small speech (if they are not there...someone will accept the award on their behalf). In between the awards we will do some contests for regular prizes and have music provided (youtube songs will be posted).....the music will be to celebrate the year and decade.

Alright, I can't really stay on tonight, but I have...good news....bad news....(probably more bad news).

Bad News: I was afraid this would happen, but I have a guest that came over and it would be rude for me to ignore them and stay on the computer....soooooo, we aren't going to be able to do the Ice Awards today. But! We can still do it tomorrow (no matter what, we'll do one somehow).

Good News: Someone very generous was kind enough and donated over 1 Million gold to the thread....soooooo, I'll see the people who posted (go through all the posts tonight) and try to use like 500k of the gold to donate to people here. The rest we can save for tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm really sorry about this happening, but I want to do the Ice Awards when I can fully put 100% into it. I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone and that you all will still be able to make it. Alright?
