keep in mind that, while both english and german share linguistic roots, not everything can be transliterated. some examples:

"We like to work on a team."

in german, you generally say you work "in" a team. however, connotation-wise, a better translation would be "we enjoy working as a team"

I only want to read, but I have to work.

here, "nur" would be better translated as "just". "I just want to read, but I've got work to do.." that's the vibe

Similar to the first example, the idea is that the people being addressed have to function well as a team, though there's an additional bit of ambiguity here in the word "müssen", which could either be read as "have to" as in "you (multiple people) have to work well as a team" or possibly "must" as in "you guys must function well as a team" (expressing surprise at their capacity for teamwork). it could be read either way
