Don't do this.
It's really annoying. It's polite to not use autoplay because there is a large chance most of the people visiting your profile won't like your taste in music, and if they are actually interested in your taste in music, all they have to do is press "play".

Keep in mind, a lot of people browse at night when their household is asleep, so if they forget to turn the speakers down and some obnoxious song starts blaring, they've upset others.

If they have headphones in and aren't expecting your music, it could hurt their ears.

The more you know~

It's really annoying when you have these user's who feel the need to suggest to others that it's not polite to use autoplay. The person shouldn't be dumb enough to have there speakers blaring loud in the first place, they shouldn't be snooping on another user's profile if they are interested and then get mad because of what is on THERE PERSONAL profile. If they weren't interested in the first place, they shouldn't be on that person's profile. It's called not being a nosy and obnoxious person.
I read like the first three sentences and last sentence of this tl;dr post. You know what is REALLY annoying? Quoting a post that's seven months old and not having the common decency to understand how inappropriate is to force other people to listen to music that they aren't a fan of. Stop trying to be a pretentious t**t (though I must say you're very good at it). What's rude is rude. No one can foresee the future: when people click a profile thinking "I'd like to know when soandso's birthday is" or "I wonder if this person plays Dungeons and Dragons" they aren't expecting to have post hardcore screaming in their ears or Nicki Minaj going on about how fine her a** is.

tl;dr (you should seriously learn how to use this) the world doesn't revolve around you, stop being pretentious, stop quoting posts that are seven months old

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I KNOW HOW TO AUTOPLAY YOUR VIDEOS ON YOUR PROFILES GUYS

First, you find the youtube video you want to post on gaia. Next, you copy the URL. After that, you go to tektek.org and click "Profile Themes/Video". Then click "Youtube Video". Next, paste the URL in the space where it says "Original Link" and click "Convert". If you want it on autoplay click "autoplay". Then, copy the code on the space for "GaiaOnline Link". Sign onto your Gaiaonline account, go to "My Gaia", "Profile", "Edit My Profile", "Content", "Media" , and then on the rectangle that says "Media", click "Edit" and paste the code in the space for "Media". and, click "Update". And last, click "View Profile" to check if it works.

Mind you, you HAVE to hit autoplay when your on tektek or it wont work at all

UPDATE: ah jeez it worked for me the first couple times now it says player is to small... i dont know if itll work with you guys but ill leave this here to give you an idea

Having this problem along with "Video Player is Too Small"?

Easy fix. This question was asked many times on this thread so I thought Id help out for past posters and future.

http://youtube.googleapis.com/v/[VIDEO_ID_HERE]?version=2&autoplay=1

For example. I would like a piano piece to play on my profile.

The youtube link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9haTFoGcvk

SO, I take the Video ID: C9haTFoGcvk

And put it in my media player. So then it now looks like...

http://youtube.googleapis.com/v/C9haTFoGcvk?version=2&autoplay=1
in the URL link.

Hope this helps.
