Finally it's time for a big update :3.
I got my pale! *yay A huge thanx to all who helped me!! heart
Actually I was overwhelmed by the help I received, so I changed my plans a bit. I just used the pure for my quest, everything else went directly into my funds for turning this into a charity-thread. Already over 500k! But I hope this isn't all...so if you have any unwanted items (zomg loot, recipes, clothes, papers, flowers, bugs,...) I would be very grateful if you could send them towards my direction smile . And polo shirts of course^^.

1mio polo-shirts = 1 mio. gold for donations
1mio. raised by trash = 1 mio. gold for donations...
+ I'm going to throw in another 2 mio for donations.

Update As it takes longer with the polo shirts than I expected, I decided to give out donations when the funds raised by trash hits 1 mio. gold smile



All sunflowers I receive already go to angelbaskets's sunflower quest for disability awareness!

3. By having a charity-thread, too. You try to do something good? Great! If I haven't found you yet...send me an application.

History

Finally, here's my first quest thread! *yay
As my Gaiaanniversary is near (1 year on october, 4th) and my biggest wish is a pale marionette, I thought it's a nice idea to start my first (and last) quest thread.
My goal is within my reach (kind of funny, considering there are still some millions left^^) and usually I do the work on my own, but I thought some support would be fine. When I had the idea of a quest thread, I already knew that I don't want to beg for gold or items (at least not for myself), so I thought about how the support could look like (besides the usual bumping) and an idea came to my mind: everyone has these "worthless" items, like starter clothes, flowers, stuff from the daily chance and so on, which are more effort to sell on the mp than the profit you gain. So the "1million polos for a pale"-idea was born.
Why is this going to be my first and last quest thread? The pale is the only one of those uber-expenisve items I want and I'll be totally happy when I finally get it. And as it is more blessed to give than to receive, I want to change this quest thread into a charity thread, as soon as I reach my goal. I'm already in love with this idea, esp since there were kind people who donated to me although they don't know me. Too little to donate it ? Nope. This thread is established in the traditon of Scrooge McDuck "A penny saved is a penny earned"...and I'm going to double up everything I receive from my own fortune.
