//ashamed// So my darling Geryn Miritar found a fancy in one of the Luna's Incense item possibilities. How could I say no to him? However, my luck on the first Incense was... crap-tastic... to say the least. So what do I do? I bought another... then another... then ANOTHER! Spent the entire 480k for my quest on those silly Incenses!
Needless to say, there is a reason I don't gamble. Didn't get the item he wanted and while he felt bad that I spent all of my money... I felt horrible because I was so unlucky and didn't get him the item he wanted.

Whoohoo! Finally got an image posted in my quest thread. An unfinished image... but an image! Simple things for simple minds, yes? Back up to 100k as well. Only 400k or so left for my next item. On that note. I. Hate. Gimp.

Okay, so Geryn has taken a disinterest in Gaia for the time being (drat I almost had him enthralled!) so I've decided to revitalize my solo quest thread until he decides to return. The bad news; I'm starting from ground zero because I participated in a few gift giving threads a few months back and donated the items I was saving for my current dream avatar... well it made someone happy at least.

My mouse needs to be cleaned, it's double clicking at a single click >_< ! Also, I've started drawing. Going to pad up my DA account then make myself presentable to the art hungry of Gaia. Assuming I get over this gloom and doom 'ugh my art is horrible' way of thinking. No one to talk to right now. I am a sad Drow.
Self introduction
-----Welcome to my quest thread, feel free to call me Anoria. I have been coming and going from Gaia for over 4 years. My last (emphasis on ‘last‘) break from Gaia spanned between Sept ‘09 and May ‘10. I enjoy intellectual conversations, as such I rarely find myself staying in one place too long. Also rather afraid to just jump in the pool, so to speak.
-----Anywho… I enjoy some fairly common hobbies. Writing, drawing, roleplaying, and gaming come prominently to mind. Aside from such typical hobbies I occasionally pretend to know how to play my acustic (at least it is tuned correctly) and play with clay. Once upon a time I even crafted chainmail shirts and coifs. I may craft such things once more if I find the time to construct a winder so I can make my own rings.
-----For me, the best part of Gaia is filling in the blanks of my avatar. Who is she? What does she do? What, is her story? Most of my past outfits reflect the evolving idea of Lady Anoria that I’ve always had. Okay, so my most recent ideas mimic that of my comic idol Lady Death… breaking my steady trend of Dark Elven themes.
So… who IS Lady Anoria?
-----Anoria is the youngest of four daughters born into a no rank house. Of the four, she is only the second to become a priestess. She is the quiet sort, who does her duties faithfully. She spent the first half of her life never questioning her place. Never questioning her duty. This unwavering duty would prove to be her undoing, or perhaps her salvation… depending on how one chooses to see the coin.
-----But what is so important about being a priestess? One might ask. The favor of their dark god is enough to elevate a common house to nobility status. His disapproval is enough to also condemn a family to death. Anoria’s family was already in danger of disfavoring their dark lord. Caused, in part, by the actions of the second eldest sister.
