Phase 1 – Phase one is the entrance of `Yatomi [ already through the cave ]. It’s more of a forest like setting. It is mostly just trees, except for the occasional rock, and simple dirt path that leads from the beginning, to the exit. The rest is plant life, and grass floor. A few unknown creatures have been spotted amongst the forest before, but sightings are not likely, because as most know si`re meant this land to be for gizers, and only gizers.
Phase 2 – Phase two begins where phase one ends. It has but only a few trees, and the rest is just a grassy plain. Most mothers bring there cubs here so they can play amongst themselves in the wide area. On the further left side of the phase is a pile of rocks that most young ones find themselves playing, or basking in the bright sunlight.
Phase 3 – Phase three is to the left of phase two, at the far side of the island. It’s sandy, and leads out to a shady blue, clear water source. No one really understands how far the water goes out, but it’s in between two straight lines of rocks, that separate it from any other bodies of water. Gizers only go to this water source, in hopes of finding food among the sandy beach; no one has ever used the salty water for drinking.
Phase 4 – Phase four is to the right of phase two, and is one of the most commonly used phases. The phase consists of a small pound that is filled by the Sikina, great waterfall. All the water produced by it is fresher then any other water source on the island. Most of the phase is thick, green grass, cut down to a low level. One tree stands by the water, producing enough shade for a dozen gizers. They call it Tikia, for big tree. Most believe that it has something to do with healing, or keeping bad spirits away from the area. The akenta is a small area along side the big tree, where mothers protect their children at the first stage. In a small grass area at the left of the pound, there is a small assortment of rocks, and straw, were gizers ‘make themselves at home’ watching there little cubs play in the water.
Phase 5 – Phase five is straight down from phase four. It is the part of the island that gets the most heat from the sun. The area’s water source is just
muddy, and the rest is dried grass, that stands taller then anything else.
Most of this area’s wildlife is just caribou that serve as a vital food source. There are no trees, but just grass for miles.
Phase 6 – Phase six has never been traveled. This is a small island branched off of `Yatamoi. It’s off of phase four, but the water from Sikina has forbidden anyone from reaching it. From the island it looks like the edges of the island is just sand, but the rest is grass, with a few trees and plant life. No one has every seen any sign of life on the island, or gained enough strength to try to get to it.
