The first flatsale will be of premade characters. The first auction will be for a custom character. I'll be posting some tasty previes of the flatsale characters soonly on page 40.

We will also [later] have an auction for an X-Men OC, that is, a character from the actual comic book series. The date for this is also pending.

The Story

(Note: While this shop's theme follows with the general idea of X-Men there are going to probably be some major inconsistencies and differences as the story is being adapted for the Gaian world. Please bear with us.)

It is said that the human race has changed and evolved over thousands of mellinia to reach the form we have today. Many scientists speculated, however, that this was not the end.

And they were correct.

In the world of Gaia, in the town of Durem, something strange began to occur. One of the first of a new race most of the population has derisively termed 'mutants' was born. Her name was Alicia Merrian Rose, and she was born to an average and happy couple who lived in the crowded middle class section of town. She led a normal life, attending school, making friends, chasing boys...Until her 15th birthday, when Alicia and her family discovered that their average household was not so average after all...

Alicia nearly burned down her house when she accidentally altered the capacity of the electrical equiptment in their home. At first her parents thought it was a coiencidence, but time and time again their household electronics would break in her presence. When they took her to a doctor to be anaylzed they found that the amount of static electricity in her body was nearly lethal. The bottom line was, Alicia had powers and abilities beyond human perception.

Her family drew away from her, afraid and unsure of what to do with their daughter. Across the world of Gaia, similar discoveries were being made, children in strange circumstances with stranger abilities.

Alicia, knowing she made her family uncomfortable, moved out at 18. She opened an Electronics repair shop and worked a part-time job as a research assistant at her local University.

However, life would not be that easy. As soon as people discovered her abilities they ridiculed her. One morning she came to her tiny shop to find the place destroyed. The University fired her, giving no reason. Alicia had no choice but to turn to her fellow mutants for support, of which many were angry at the thoughtless discrimination.

Today Alicia has changed her name to Ion, and is the head of a very special boarding school for especially talented children. Her school houses mutants who were abandoned or sought the company of others of their kind.

Unfortunately, not all children reach this establishment. In opposition to the human's superiority movement, a young man named Damien Reven formed the Anti-Entropy Society, or AE. He and his ilk fought for the supremacy of the mutants, preaching that they were the dawn of a new era for mankind.

Although Ion and Damien have never formally met, it is rumored that there is some history between them...

Information

Stages

Currently, your X-Men will have three stages, which will be described below.

Stage One: Mutant
The Mutant stage is the first stage of your X-Men, in which it's powers are newly awoken. Generally, mutants attempt to hide thier ability, or seek help in the form of other mutants.

Stage Two: Student/Initiate
In this stage, your mutant will have aligned with either the X-Men of the Academy or the AE. They will be at a training level and subject to their appropriate instructors.

Stage Three: X-Men/A.E. Operative
This is usually your X-Men's final stage. He/she is now fully an X-Men or Anti-Entropian operative. The character Ion in the banners is a sample of a fully developed X-Men character.

Secret Stage: Ascended
Ascended characters are extremely rare and result when a mutant's powers are fully awoken. These characters are god-like, and can only be earned through vigorous roleplay/auctions.














Welcome to the Academy, home base of the X-Men faculty members and their school for the new generation of Gaians.

Having gained the support of the governor of Barton, Ion established this facility as a boarding school to get young mutants in the classrooms and off the streets, so to speak. It's also a training school for ther special task force, the X-Men. These brave Gaians face death and danger to ensure the safety of Gaia's more normal citizens and prevent the mutant name from being further tarnished.

The Anti-Entropians (AE)

Description: Mutants who are fed up with human superiority. The align themselves with Damien and are pro-genocide.

Description: Any character that does not display mutant abilities.

OOC: The human character section is to chronicle the activity of frequently roleplayed characters that belong to non-owners. Remember, I might give away customs to the really dedicated, so don't loose hope!

Note: Human characters are FREE. They cannot buy/upgrade their equiptment or items, grow, participate in guild roleplay, but they CAN participate in thread events/roleplay, and especially dedicated RPers may earn their own offical character!

Project X

Description: Images of all registered and non-registered mutants, as per the Gaian Project X Act.

10 years ago, to curb mutant crime, the mayor of Barton Town and other respective areas of Gaia designed a project whose purpose was to keep tabs on the entirety of the mutant population. Many mutants resented this, and AE's enrollment swelled. The X-Men take this practice as a necessary sacrifice on the road to earning the human's trust.
