Welcome to What's This, the Tabula Rasa Halloween Event! If you don't know what Tabula Rasa is, please click on the above banner to go to the main thread.

Starting Date: Saturday, October 4, 2008
Ending Date: October 31, 2008

Each character (Tabula) will cost 10k-- is FREE, and there are EIGHT Tabula available in this sale!

Please note that these characters are RP-required. I REPEAT: THESE CHARACTERS ARE RP-REQUIRED. If you do not have the time or dedication to roleplay and at least fulfill the minimum RP requirements of this shop (posted below), please do not try for one. Also note that this shop will be full-literate, which means grammar and spelling do count. If your English is not so hot, please use a spell-checker.

Tabula Rasa requires you to RP at least once a month, either by yourself in story/journal format or with others. This is elaborated upon in the main thread.

{ rules }

1. No co-owning. These characters are RP-heavy and I just don't see how it would work with more than one owner.
2. Please post all entries and such in this thread.
3. All Gaia and Tabula Rasa rules apply.
4. No extensions unless Jyoti says so.
5. Do not edit your entries after you submit them.
6. You can enter MORE than once, if you wish.

Despite it's rather sombre appearance, this one seems to be very... vivacious, for lack of a better word. Sort of like Aquinas.

Such a sweet eminence... although it does appear to have been badly treated at some point in time. It is very battered.

We were immensely lucky to have found this one. Barely visible, save for the shining, pulsating red at it's centre. If that had not been there, I'm afraid we would have passed this one over.

There are three Tabula up for grabs in the flatsale. You may try out for any one you wish.

I fear I could not get close to this one. Aquinas seemed quite enchanted by it, but Zoude was the one who ultimately was able to collect it. She seemed to sympathize with the poor thing.

Trick-or-treating

Tabulas up for grabs: bones, rag doll and faded.

How do I go trick-or-treating?
1. First, you must wait until a Tabula Rasa NPC posts in this thread. The participating NPCs are:

Zoude
Locke
Aquinas
General Ashet
Mehndi
Shakuni
Melani
Zenes

They will all post under the Zoude account, but each NPC will be easily discernible.

2. Each time an NPC posts, they will offer up a short prompt. You must respond to the prompt by roleplaying one of the Tabula up for grabs (Manifest stage). There will be a time limit (indicated in the prompt post) in which you must respond and post your reply in the thread.

3. You must respond to three (3) two (2) prompts.

4. After you have written up all your responses, please post a consolidated entry, consisting of both prompts in the thread. Prompts will be collected the first time they are posted as well, so please, no editing after they have been submitted the first time around!

5. You're done!

Notes
-Please indicate the Tabula you are trying for along with your response. For each entry (which consists of 2 prompts), you must try for the same Tabula!
-You may submit as many entries as you wish. Just note the above rule.

How do I bob for apples?
1. First, you roll a 10 sided dice.

2. Now you look for the prompt that corresponds to your rolled number.

3. Respond to the prompt. YOU MUST RESPOND TO ONLY THIS PROMPT! You cannot roll multiple times for this game. Only once, please!

4. After you have written up your response, please post your entry in the thread.

5. You're done!

Guidelines
-Please make sure your prompt response involves the Tabula you are trying for in some way. You may write from the Manifest stage.
-I don't care about the format in which your response is written. Prose, poetry, diary-style... anything goes. Do note, however, that you will want to choose something that shows us that you have good RP skills.
-The prompts are just basic ideas, moods, etc. This is meant to be a very loose writing exercise without many rules. So just have fun with it!

How do I go carve a pumpkin?
1. First, you must choose a subject. You may choose from any NPC below.

2. Now either: (1) draw a picture depicting this NPC, or (2) write something involving this NPC. Please try to stick to their respective characters. Your response does not have to relate to halloween. Just the NPC!

Minigames

For various TR credits and free art!

NOTES:

-It does not matter if you don't have a Tabula yet; any TR credits you may earn will be recorded and will be given to you in the event that you recieve a Tabula in the future.

-Tabula owners and non-owners can participate! If a Tabula owner would like to participate in any other major events for which the prize is a Tabula-- instead, just for participating, you will recieve TR credits.

Costume Contest

Zoude does not like looking like a peasant. She would rather that this was not the case.

In this contest, you must dress up the shop mule! Please use Tektek to create a suitable look for Zoude, the Tabula Rasa shop mule. She is an NPC, and images of her can be found in the 'Pumpkin Carving' post to help you out. Please post the image and the total value of the outfit.

Tips:
-Zoude has black hair. Please change the mule's hairstyle to reflect this.
-Zoude adores dresses. The more elaborate, the better.
-Her favorite colour is red.

The winner of this contest will recieve:
