This thread is presently being picked at, cleaned up, and trimmed, to be re-established at a later point. 'Til then, most of this content is to be considered out of date, as it's a lil' overwhelming, and I'd like to minimize public eye-strain epidemics until we've finished fixing things up.

In the meantime, we're also in need of a new artist, as our old one was... de-interwebz'd. So 'til then, we search. In this subforum, it's all the same. Either you find animal-based pets, human-based pets, or some combination. The only thing that changes is the story that justifies their appearance.

I'd like to think that these aren't so much "pets", as they are people in their own right, for you to share a story with. After all, that's what life is all about, isn't it? Sharing stories, with everyone you meet. Except this time, let's make something truly great of it.

Are you ready to meet The Color of You?

Mountains of rock, red as blood, and seas the deep, deep blue that is of the blanket of space above our heads, space which glitters with the white and gold of the minerals lying beneath the black, sandy deserts. Plains of greens and lily whites, rolling past the winding rivers, marked by a blue that can only be found beyond these waters, in the omnipotent eyes of the flowers that cling with stringy vines, to the dulled brown walls, of the wood and steel cities, where the people make their homes.

It is a world populated by a cornucopia of creatures. The scavenging crow, which seeks the crops, that the loyal hound is driven to protect. The lazy cat, who neglects the wiles she holds, that only her friend the fox can match. The fatal locust, who follows after the ruining, but majestic, dragon, and the lowly squirrel, whose home is finally returned, after the renewal of nature that the great phoenix commands. A simple goldfish, pure of heart, who watches as the unicorn graces with presence and gift, the youngest of the mermaids, from within the home of the fish's keeper, guardian of humble sheep and prideful bovine alike.

And like any other world, it is full of myths, from the valiant and noble hero, who rescues the helpless but strangely wise princess, to the gods themselves, who bring either, fire, war, love, or wind to the people. Tales of hungry wolves, and mystic spell-weavers. Of cursed maidens, with voices like silk, and even words that speak of ill-begotten thieves, and murderers, or dull but viscous trolls. Of kings, or angels, or saints. Of the kindred, who feast on the blood of mortals, or their eternal enemies, the lycanthrope, wolves who assume the form of men, or men who assume the form of wolves. Perhaps a demon, who wraps lies like chains around hapless mortals, and pulls them into his hellish home, away from the light of grace. Perhaps even, the old woman at the door, who warns, without being heeded, of the danger to come, or the strange creation that, alive, seeks it's own mortality..?

These are the aspects, that build the world of Delikah. And, though Delikah's people have strayed from their roots, embracing technology, and war, order and logic, these people are still made of three simple aspects. Color, Creature, and Creation. A hue, an animal, and a fantasy.

The Color of You does not distribute "pets" so simple, that they can be summarized in a single post, nor does it distribute "pets" so complex, one can never seem to get immersed in the world they claim to live in. Quite the contrary, The Color of You does not distribute "pets" at all, but instead, people.

Now, these people may not be real, and they may not be quite like you, or quite like your best friend. Perhaps you can't relate them to your enemy, or your cat, or your mother, or your grade school teacher. But they are people. And, whether or not you decide to put yourself in their world, and use the stunningly crucial task of role playing to truly feel their lives, they will remain people, to someone. Perhaps their artist, or the one who conceived them. Maybe, even, some Gaian you've never heard of, or never will, who stumbles across their picture, and feels a story, or character, gain life from that picture. But the thing is, no matter who feels them most real, they will belong to You.

In practice, that simply means you have full liberty, (You, the Artist, and the shop owner T-Chan), to distribute the certed "pet" wherever you please, as long as you do not claim to have created it purely on your own. But in actuality, that means that some being, somewhere, owes you a great debt. After all, if you did not accept ownership of this simple piece of art, they could never grow as a soul.

The Color of You, as an ambiguous concept of a shop, of a theory, of a world, is built partially on the fundamental belief that every idea in this world, no matter how unbelievable, is a reality elsewhere. If that idea is washed away by doubts and seemingly more important matters, then how can it truly exist? Hence, as you purchase this simple piece of art, and the right, without requirement, to mold their being to your own whims, you are creating the opportunity for something amazing to happen.

But do not take it from us; why don't you give it a shot?

^^;; Still looking for talented artists for our Guest artist auction (1/4 pets done so far, though I wouldn't object to selling more than four in it), and I'm open to apps for a Graphic artist too, though m'talking with one right now. <3 It'd help if graphically, you could match close to Martian's style (the graphics we have now), and I've got a MAP I'd like to have colored. I can send you the über huge transparency .png if you'd like, without the country names necessarily...

Graphic artists-- I'mma need more than just a set of banners and you're done. I'd be coming back to you again and again. Being able to do certs is optional.
Guest Artists-- You don't necessarily have to match Masa-Kun's flowy, soft, water-color-esque drawing style, but a unique look (well, okay, kinda unique-ish..? o3o;; ), and good lines/coloring is a MUST. Talented is a matter of opinion, however, so it's always better to ask me. I can give you detailed descriptions, or you can be imaginative. <3 Cool clothes drawing is a MUST. Fantasy elements (wings, horns, etc), cosplay drawing skills, and cool effects (water, magic circles, glowing-ness) are all pluses. I like anime-ish style, but I don't want a cut-and-paste design for it.

"In the strange world of Delikah, all of society is divided into two leagues, The Vivosi, who simply live because they are alive, and The Creamen, who live with a Purpose greater than that of mere action. And though the line between the two is blurred for the first twenty years of their lives, it will quickly become apparent that it is The Creamen who design the future of Delikah.

It is the year 128, and although technology is reaching an all-time high, between the video phones, Vi, and the ever popular PALs, a portable computer with absolutely amazing capibilities, Delikah is still slipping into peril. The newscasts are all filled to the brim with stories of avalanches, hurricanes, and ever-rising waters, from Amolia to the small country of Turinoz. Despite this, life carries on for both classes, as if nothing were wrong. And yet... The line between the Shades of Gray, and the Elements of the World, begins to grow darker, and sadly, more malevolent as well.

Oroka is a small country, formed of a group of islands off the coast of the world power, Amolia. It is a bustling, busy community, formed mostly of a pursuit for knowledge. If ever you wanted to get a good education, or get into one of the many fast-paced technological fields that drives Delikah, Oroka would be your choice country for higher education. But as of late spring, in 128, Oroka closed off it's international connections, leaving hundreds stranded amongst the islands, and leaving the rest of Delikah to wonder, and fear the worst.

And now, three years later, in 131, success has been found. Oroka has perfected their analysis of Creamen, and the fight back can finally begin."

"And then the gods said to me, 'Why, young mortal, do you count yourself more than your brother..? For within the difference, is balance. And should you ever endanger that balance, what, do you think, would become of you...?' "

Klein Ataki, head of the Research Department at Allo Laboratories, Oroka's crowning jewel of technological and magical study, is descendant to a long line of great minds. The Aloki test, in fact, a staple of Delikahn culture, and the only marginally accurate method of determining the Aspects of a Creamen, was in fact designed, tested, and perfected by his great, great grandmother, Aloki Ataki. She even made a point to set a minimum age for the Creamen being tested, in order to rule out inconsistencies that can be found at young age, and to protect the Creamen from being railroaded, as well. Klein also has many other great minds coming before him, from the inventor Shoo Ataki. to the philosopher known as Ratorn Snit (an alias used to stall persecution, as his ideas were horribly radical at the time), and even the great painter and sculptor Nill Ataki.

It is no surprise, then, that Klein, with the help of his respectful position in the community, is making strides in improving the world fo Delikah, as his ancestors before him did. Klein is doing this, through Allo laboratories, by arranging a sort of Advanced Placement boarding school. As Creamen are accepted into the program, they are found a sponsor, and then allowed to live in a structured, though mildly freeform, community together. Cared for and taught by qualified Allo staff, these Creamen are able to reach their fullest potential in this setting.

Of course, like many laboratory projects, this is rooted mostly in theory, and there is a considerable amount more to it, than the children or parents hear. Delikah is in trouble.... And something must be done, or else Creamen and Vivosi alike are liable to face complete eradication.

Through all of my browsing of the texts of history, one of the rare consistencies through all of it is the existence of Laws, and the breaking of them that proceeds. the Rules that follow our society of Delikah are no different. There are those, who wish to abolish the system, or more commonly, simply do not take the necessary time to become even a shade acquainted with these rules.

Those who wish to abolish the system, often feel so because they think the rules of our world limit them in some way. They are not meant to. Rules exist to protect, not to bind. Would we not chain you to a wall if we wished to bind you? It would be so much simpler, wouldn't it, than leaving that chance for rebellion? If we truly wished to oppress.

And as for those who do not learn the rules-- I am sorry. Surely we will attempt to verse you in these essentials, but should you refuse.. We must preserve the sanctity of our community. When you are with us, you mustn't seek to harm us. We wish you no animosity- truly, it is the opposite. But when you turn blade or sharpened tongue to us, we will remove you. For the safety of the love of Delikah.

Now, let us spread this love to all, and embrace the truly remarkable nature of our world.

If mind can be human, then so too can it be canine, feline. It can be of rat or fox, of bird or fish or insect, every creature that crawls, flies or swims, every creature that ever was.

If soul can be of man, so can it be of spirit, of kindred, of fairy, of angel or demon. Soul can be of saint or seer or hero. Soul can be of anything.

If these are true words, then so too can be the Creamen. If these are true words, where is Paradise left to be, for the Vivosi?"

It is true that history becomes blurred by technology, but that does not change the result of those lost memories. The Creamen are as much of today, as they are of yesterday. And it is true to all, that the Creamen are of Tomorrow as well. And althpugh for them, the world is seen through Colorless eyes, the Vivosi have a Will, by which they always push forward, into the future. Even when the color of that future is unknown.

The International Assembly of Records, short-handed by almost everyone as the IAR, keeps track of the entire population of Delikah, from fertile plains of Amolia, one of the most powerful and technologically diverse countries of the world, to the uniquely cultured Charuu, even to the conflicted countries that make up the Inner Desert, Xis, Pegri, Taraka, and Afornak. So why should Oroka be any different?

The IAR keeps track of each of the members of Delikah, Vivosi and Creamen alike, using a Life Point System. Records for a Delikahn are started on the day they are born, and kept in a Temporary filing system, until the child has survived long enough for their record to be added to the permanent files. This is to avoid a mass flooding of the record system, of children who died too young to have any records besides medical. If a child dies before the age of eight, when most Delikahn are entered into school, their file is moved to a special, separate system, in case the records are needed later.

Allo Laboratories has assembled, with help from the IAR's Life Point system, an analysis for all Gaians interested in their Special Training Program for Creamen, a description of each Life Point.

Updates on any Delikahn's Life Point are made Twice during the month, once on the tenth, and once on the twenty-fifth. Thus, all updates of Allo Labrotories will take place on this day, or one of the following two. Making the change dates the tenth, eleventh, twelfth, twenty-fifth, twenty-sixth, or twenty-eighth of any given month. Life Points are bound to the following trends::

Life Point {Zero}- Early Infancy to Early Childhood:: This Stage Cannot Yet be Role Played! A Creamen is, at this point, too young to be counted as an official resident of any country, and their IAR record is kept in a temporary stasis until they are older. The recorded picture usually has them at an age between two and seven. At this age, Creamen are usually indiscernible from Vivosi, except for the fact that they have a unique eye color, different from most Vivosi's typically Gray. Unfortunately, the rare Vivosi does have more than gray to their eye, even so rare as to have a full color of green, or another Pure color, and since no testing procedures can be safely done on children this age to determine which they are, it is unknown if they truly possess the skills of Creamen. Since, aside from orphans, a Delikahn at this age could not be safely separated from their parents, attaining one through Allo's program is highly unlikely. Also, due to how significantly underage they are, it costs more for Allo Laboratories to care for them, and hence, costs more to sponsor them.

Life Point One- Later Childhood:: Once the child is old enough to be separated from their parents safely, as well as agree to it without inviting severe legal issues, which is usually around age eight to Twelve, Allo Laboratories can get the paperwork completed, and send out a notice to Gaians of the availability for Sponsorship. Once the child has attained a sponsor, their portrait is sent out, attached to a Certificate of Authenticity to prove that Allo Laboratories has received the Gaian's donation, and the child is in our care. Then, training can finally begin. Since a family may decide to allow their child to join our program at any time during the child's first Life Point, our children are varied by age. Due to the time consuming and tentative manner of this arrangement, sponsors are usually sought for a group of Creamen at a time. And although Creamen still cannot be determined from Vivosi, Allo Labs does their best to accept trainees carefully, making full use of both the eye color tendancy, and the unique way of dress most Creamen have by this age. Allo Laboratories often starts the training at this age, even if they were taken in at a younger age, although it is mostly comprised of conditional training and basic educational materials, as they would learn at a typical Delikahn school.

Life Point Two- Early Adulthood:: Delikahn are now aged Thirteen to Eighteen. By this Point it is certain that what was accepted as a child, is now a young teenage Creamen. This is made most obvious by the colorful and vibrant appearance, not just in dress but also in physical forms, and by the fact that the child is finally old enough for safe testing. The performed test registers all of the Creamen's Signatures, their Color (which is apparent mostly in physical trends), their Animal Influence (which, other than the Aloki Test, is not determinable any other way, due to the fact it influences solely the Creamen's personality), and their Fantasy Element (which, by the age of twenty seven, is obvious due to unique physical features, as subtle as a change in body build or habit, or as obvious as growing wings from their back). Thanks to the test, called the Aloki test after the scientist Aloki Ataki (also an ancestor of our esteemed Research Department Head, Klein Ataki), we can tell all of this, and from which, judge some of the strengths and weaknesses the Creamen will attain, allowing us to alter their training program accordingly. Part of this alteration is the addition of the Creamen's Proficiency to the training program.

Life Point Three- Later Adiulthood:: This point is most noted by the Influence of the Creamen's animal on their personality, which, depending on how the Creamen was raised, and the habits, tendencies and outlooks it had developed, could be a very stressful time in the Creamen's life. More like a Gaian's teenage stage than any of the previous years, this typically takes place during the years of age Nineteen to Twenty-Five. Most are cocky and willful, despite the difficulties they may be experiencing mentally and emotionally, perhaps to compensate for their own uncertainties, or simply to keep from letting their life fall apart while they struggle. Due to the often volatile nature of these years, and the fact that Creamen are often most apt to come into their abilities in stressful situations, Allo Laboratories takes two measures;; First, to offer more Recreational activities, and lessen training, for the Creamen, and Second, in order to preserve this relaxing time without hindering the full advancement of their powers during these years, they will be sent, along with the group's leader, on specialized and carefully chosen Real World missions, to help other Delikahns. Even if the Creamen seems to be a late bloomer, had has yet to come into many, or even any, of their abilities, they are not left out of the Real World experience. And often it seems, these late bloomers become most powerful, or most able, than those who begin to attain their unique powers earlier. Training begins for the Creamen's final skill, their most potent Proficiency, which will usually be unique to them and them alone.

Life Point Four- Independent Adulthood:: In this final recorded Life Point, the portrait is usually taken at age Twenty-Six to Thirty-One, although the age can usually go forward to as high as them being a hundred and forty before they die (Slight note, although Creamen usually stop aging before their mid-thirties, Vivosi don't. Compared to the aging of most Gaians, Vivosi age at a slowed rate past then, looking perhaps sixty or seventy by the time they reach a hundred a forty, the upper half of a Delikahn's life expectancy). The final recorded Life point is marked by the revelation of the Creamen's fantasy element, which not only affects their outer appearance, but adds additional abilities, or changes to already revealed abilities, in accordance with the mythos of this element. Training lessens, and we will be sending the Creamen out more often for Real-World tasks, respectively more difficult for their increasing power. As it is in Gaian life, once you finish college, get your house, and have a steady job, that hardly means your life is over, and it is likely Allo Laboratories will have to edit their progams for Creamen in this final Point, perhaps even to a fully customized training regime after this time.

Here are Two examples of what changes this Point may bring:: First, a Kindred, commonly known as a Vampire, influenced Creamen may have, during the previous Life Point, have gained the ability to shift their shape slightly to change their general appearance. Then during the final stage, if their appearance gained fangs, and perhaps bat-like wings on their head, they would be able to hide these, or replace them with similar effects (their fangs, which extend passed their normal tooth length, may become sharp teeth throughout the whole mouth of a single length, and the head wings could be changed into horns, given them the /appearance/ of, perhaps, a demon Creamen). Along with this, if the Kindred-influenced Creamen had trained mostly in sword-skill, then the sword they wield would most commonly acquire an 'ever-bleeding' effect, making wounds caused by it only sealable by magical or advanced medical means, not by natural healing. For exceptionally powerful Creamen, though, it may be able to have an Instant-Kill on most creatures, though this effect would be bound by exceptions, such as only animals, only other Creamen, or perhaps excluding other Undead-based Creamen, or Creamen with Light-based powers. Even to excluding Vivosi, simply for the difference in the soul make-up.

And Second, perhaps take Merfolk as the Fantasy element. This could give a Creamen that seemed to lack any particularly spectacular ability, a unique edge. Perhaps if they had archery skill, it would give them the power to charge their arrows with a freezing ability, to seal their target in ice. Maybe they could even breathe underwater (although it's never been recorded of a Creamen actually attaining functioning gills, but merely the physical make-up without the capability). Or even allow them to morph the density and shape of water, even so much as they could use a simply flask of it as a weapon, or walk on the water by concentrating the H2O particles toward the surface of the water, changing it's density from one, to a number high enough to support their body weight. It is also considered completely possible, for their fantasy element to allow them such as to summon their own fantasy, and if they are exceptionally talented, and well trained, it is possible for them to alter the physical form of it, for instance given a merfolk inspired Creamen ability to summon a merman or mermaid, yet give them legs to cross the surface world, or if they are not born with the ability to breathe air, lungs as well. Of course, this is very risky, and highly regarded as a dangerous area, philosophically and scientifically.

Let's get straight to the point with this here, okay? Just to save us all a little text;;

In Character, sales our handled by our resident unofficial therapist, Alussa Jadel. It is her job to not only find young Creamen to enroll in Allo's program, but to arrange for them to be paid for. Thanks to her mega-rich (if painfully obnoxious) parents, though, from time to time she can arrange for a Creamen to be enrolled without any money spent by it's Gaian Sponsor. In fact, the only reason those Creamen need a Gaian sponsor at all, is because Klein Ataki, the man running this whole set up, is a stickler for paperwork.

Of course, in reality (and boy do I hate to refer to it as such), it's a wee bit different. Each sale is run with two, four, or six Creamen available. And the only time six would be available at once, is if we had four 'normal' sales, and two 'event' sales. The way to tell the difference is, unlike normal sales, event sales do NOT require any Gaia Gold, items, or so forth, to be sent. We find ways of getting our payment in other ways... (This is the place for maniacal laughter).

There are four classes of sales:: the Flatsales, the Auction, the Raffles and the Events. Every time we have a sale, or sales, they will be posted in a separate thread, which will provide a limited amount of information, and will link back to the shop thread (here) in order for potential owners to seek a more complete understanding of Delikah, and how we work. Every class of sale as two types, described below.

Flatsales::
Selective Flatsale: This is the most common type of sale. In the thread, the available pets are displayed, their aspects listed, and interested Gaians will post their chosen first name for the pet, whether or not they intend to roleplay the pet, and their reason for wanting the pet, then they will send the trade (usually priced at Twenty-Five Kay) to Purest White. Based on this information, and any conversation that follows, the Color of You staff will decide whether or not the interested Gaian will receive the pet. This may take absolutely no time at all, the decision made solely on their reasoning for wanting the pet, or it may take a few days. When the Gaian has been accepted as owner, the trade will be accepted as well, and the certed pet will be posted. The application will be rejected, and the trade cancelled, after five days, occasionally less.
There are no Selective Flatsales planned at this time.[/i[
Speed Flatsale: This works very similar to a Selective flatsale, but is rather uncommon. Interested Gaians post their chosen first name for the pet, and whether or not they wish to roleplay it, then send the trade. The first one to post requesting a certain available pet will receive it. These types of sales are uncommon, as it is impossible to discern how well the interested Gaian understands the story, how pet growth works, or compliance with the rules. As such, a purchase through a speed flatsale is one of the rare situations were Pet Confiscation (without refund) is possible. But as long as you follow the rules, and don't fight with the Shop Staff, that will never even come up.
There are no Speed Flatsales planned at this time.
Auctions::
Pet Auction: A pet Auction is the most common kind of auction, and second most likely type of sale. A pet with a unique fantasy (such as a highly powerful creature/legend), or with an extra stage (most Zero stage pets are available in Auctions. The only way to attain a zero stage pet, is by a Special Event, an Auction, or Breeding. Bred Delikahns who do are not owned by either of the parents, will always be auctioned off. Auctions work with a starting bid, a highest bid, and an autobuy. Unless the pet is Autobuy'd, the person with the Highest Bid at the end of the auction will receive the pet. Again, an interested Gaian must include their chosen first name for the pet, whether or not they wish to roleplay it, and their reason for wanting it, in their first bid. Raffles::
Ticket Raffle: These work quite simply-- there is a maximum number of tickets available, or else a minimum number and a deadline that ends it in case the raffle is dragging on too long. For a sum of gold under one Kay, usually closer to the early hundreds, interested Gaians can buy Tickets for the pet they want. There is a max percentage of tickets one person can own, and people can also purchase tickets for "Hopefuls", if they're feeling charitable. As always, the first purchase must include the desired first name for the pet, whether or not the buyer wishes to roleplay it, and a reason as to why they want it, OR, the username from the Hopefuls list that they wish to purchase tickets for. You can NOT buy tickets for someone who is not on that list, other than yourself! Being added to the Hopefuls list is about just the same, except the form is slightly different, in order to note they aren't buying tickets, but do still want it.
There are no Ticket Raffles planned at this time.
Dice Contest raffle: In each post, you roll a pre-decided number of dice, and try and get rolls in a certain range or ranges. There is no limit on how many tickets you can have for this contest, and the end is decided by a date, after which a post of all ticket owners, that generates a number from one to the number of tickets, will be made to decide the owner. Of course, the pet's chosen first name, and whether or not it is intended to be role played, are necessary in the first roll. These are almost always free to enter.

Events::
Writing Event: The most common type of event, writing events are usually either story contests, or role play contests, and the subject may or may not be directly related to the Color of You. The function of writing events varies from event to event.

Special Event: These are the final kind of sale, and are usually Holiday specific (Maristime for Christmas, Helikta for Valentine's day, and Kornoa for Halloween). Special Event procedures are almost entirely unique to that specific event.

I do understand that, as a fellow human being (is that the proper term...?), referring to these procedures as 'sales' may be a bit misleading. We are far from selling these children into slavery, and in fact, you will probably not ever be able to meet them yourself. But, dear Gaians, there is a history to our use of that term anyway, and by our research, it proved to be the best at describing how these procedures work in the phrasings of your world.

The history to it, in all honesty, dates back approximately three years ago, at this time (the year 131 for us, and 2oo7 for you). In what for you was 2oo4, a member of Allo's staff found the world of Gaia, quite by accident (inter-dimensional travel is rare, and frowned upon, thus it is not well known to many as possible, nor is it well liked to those who do know). The employee noticed the unique formula in which the fundamental elements of 'Gaia Gold' were made, and got permission to take a couple hundred back for research. These studies proved them to have exceptional properties. So, in order to attain a larger quantity, for further tests and perhaps eventual use, he made an agreement with the ZONY company of Amolia (this was several hundred years ago, by the way, when Amolia was still young), and sold a ZONY MP3 player, and the plans for a ZONY Discman to Gaian authorities in exchange for several tens of thousands of Gaia Gold. All interactions that involve the exchange of something from Delikah, for Gaia Gold, has been called such since, regardless of accuracy. It is simply how you list it on your taxes.

To the Parents of All Potentially Enrolled Delikahns,

Katorah. My name is Klein Ataki, and I have the joy of a position of importance at Allo Laboratories of Oroka. As you know, our country as been shut down to all tourism, and like travel, for more than three years now. Some of you are missing your family, some of you are missing your friends. Some of you are worried about your children. I wish you to know that, although me and everyone here at Allo lacks the authority to change this, we are doing our best to gain that authority. Part of this process is a Training Program we are constructing, Project Lahtori, named after the epic written by Feror Ratorr. And that is why we, have come to you.

Although details must stay scarce, for the safety of Allo, and all the Delikahns in our programs, I wish you to know, at the very least, that when you send your child to our care, you are not submitting them to our mercy. Allo laboratories prizes itself on it's humanity, and our understanding of the emotional, mental, and physical condition of everyone here. This letter is to remind you, that your children will not simply disappear.

As you know, time in Delikah fluctuates. Two years of aging, can take anywhere from five years, to three days. It is a flaw inspired by our forefathers, and by the mystics once relied on so heavily by us all. Still, time never goes backward. Your child will grow. They will develop, they will change their interests and beliefs. They will gain strength, friendship, intelligence, wisdom, and love. They are no less real here at Allo, than they are in your own home.

Thus, I must make it clear, that within our program, dating, marriage, and even children, are not frowned upon. To an acceptable social standard, they are free to do as they please relationally, and we will do everything we can to help them with that. I must note, this also includes, hopefully in the near future, the availability of visitation with family, should that be so desired. Though currently, we cannot arrange it, you are not losing your child. You are letting them grow to their fullest, their best. And I thank you, even for just your consideration.

Breeding Information::

Pricing: The base price for Breeding is 50Kay. This gives you a chance at one to two children. 100Kay will get you two, hands down. 150Kay makes the range two to three. A higher number of children carried at once would be too hazardous to the mother's health.

Aspects:: The offspring's traits will be a result of genetics, with the fraternal and maternal influences being most prominent. Of course, as there is more to their ancestry than just their parents, it is impossible to predict the outcome. There is no way to decide it before hand. There's always a chance of a Vivosi being born, rather than a Creamen. The Vivosi child would not have any aspects. It's all luck of the draw.

Age:: A creamen will be able to bear children as early as Life Point Two. Of course, this would be the equivalent of having a child while still in High School, so to do so this early would require a certain degree of Role Play justification. If you are not role playing your pet, they can NOT breed until LP three.

Requirements: You must own a Pet, and you must be at least semi-literate (know basic spelling and grammar, be able to write in third person limited omniscient, and churn out at least a few sentences). You've also gotta be able to put up with T-Chan's mountains of text! 8D
Suggestions: Get to know the characters and other owners by chatting in the thread, or reading through the guild. Don't be shy to ask people questions (especially T-Chan!), and be sure you know what's going on before you post something. Try and have fun with it! If you're getting trouble, or having trouble, etc, be sure to PM T-Chan or Mee-Kun, and they'll be happy to help however they can!
Benefits: ^^ Well, aside form getting the most out of tCoY's experience, and it's deep and super special awesome setting, back story, plot, and coolness? Extra Note!: The Color of You has an deep world, with it's own culture, history, religion, cartography, and social tendencies. For artists, we'd really prefer talent and a sort of uniqueness to the style, that makes it something other than hot of the press recycled anime-based imagery, However, all of that is a matter of opinion, so you are ALWAYS better to ask! Remember your style doesn't have to match Masa-Kun's exactly, though! We may consider if you'd like to make us certs, banners, maps, color in item designs, etc. As far as management, such as thread watching, and role playing, the only thing we're really looking for right now is maybe someone to help with the role play, however, we are much more in need of artists than managers right now. 3nodding

Answer! ^^;;; As I tried to convey in the introduction, this isn't like most BC shops... tCoY is more community, more role play, than BC shop. And the point of the "pets", is to develop a soul. :3 Or drool over the purty ahrtz.

Question! Wow, these are great.. Hey, do you reuse line art like most shops? Save the base n' jus' recolor it?
Answer! Why no, we don't. Every pet at every stage is an individually drawn, full body, full color image. And there are a minimum of four stages, and a maximum of six. We typically make up the loss of only selling them for twenty five kay, at auctions and the like, or else out of the super special awesomeness of our hearts.

Question! Twenty five kay is a lot.. How is that a loss?
Answer! Well, think of it from a Request and Commissions point of view. An average full body, full color picture, with a decent style/anatomy, full color, would be an absolute MINIMUM of five kay each. That'd probably be at about my art level product. These artists are AMAZING! I mean, seriously. Then, you take four images (LPs one, two, three and four). That is, at the R&C MINIMUM for a full body, full color, 20Kay. Which, with the eighty percent standard cut, is exactly what they get when I sell 'em for 25Kay. But, considering the talent level of these people, and even calculating in the fact that they aren't customs, 25Kay is hardly anything. These people could be making a lot more money in R&C than they could here. That price is really more to balance supply and demand, than it is to give compensation. These artists are figurative deities, and they deserve more than what I pay them. =w=;;

Question! How much do these cost?
Answer! Twenty Five Kay at flatsales, breeding is a minimum of 50Kay, semi-customs for Masa-Kun are 150Kay, and full customs are 400Kay. See post numba five for full details.
