February 21st 11.59pm CST to March 1st 11.59pm CST

The gorgon female does have the ability to turn people to stone. However, like many of her people that live in mixed societies, she elected as a young girl to have her eyes stitched shut. The stitches can not and will not be removed. She wears a visor in the manner of her people, but it is mostly her cultural style of dress since she is essentially blind. She can get around with the use of the snakes' eyes, tongues, and Jacobson’s organs. Be prepared when entering for this character to roleplay someone who is disabled.

February Prompt
As a citizen of Kitezh, life has become rather dull and stagnant for you. Recently you heard that a didikai carnival was coming to town and while your friends and neighbors have been preparing for the carnival's entertainment and breeding prospects, you have found that you need more from the visiting didikai. You need a way out. You have two options for this: you can attempt to attach yourself to one of the clan members in the hopes they like you and take you with them, or you can appeal directly to the clan leader.

Which route do you choose and why? What can you offer the carnival if they accept you?

User Image

This is how life starts at the carnival, whether you are born to Farstep or migrated to it. You have not yet found your career path and are training as an apprentice. This stage happens in two parts: the new arrival and being set on a path. You have begun your first step on the road to living with the carnival and will be subject to the pecking order, likely doing the jobs no one else wants until you gain your footing.

User Image

No longer an apprentice, you've finally got a foothold in your chosen vocation. Although you're still learning the ropes, you've become far more comfortable with performing in front of audiences, selling wares, or doing menial work to keep the carnival running. You've also learned to specialize more in your class, narrowing it down from simply performer to perhaps trapeze artist or from roustabout to horse trainer.

-Expert image pending-

You've gotten quite a bit of experience now and have gained quite a bit of standing around the carnival. As a performer, you're headlining more often or perhaps doing more private shows at the ten-in-one. If you're a vendor, you've probably been trusted to manage the booth you work at or are allowed to try out your own ideas like new recipes or interesting fashion designs or even invent new ways to cheat people out of their money at the midway. A roustabout at this level probably is overseeing crews to put up tents or organizing how the carnival's line-up will go for their next move or perhaps trying out new tricks for the show animals to learn.

-Master image pending-

You have arrived! All your hard work has paid off and you are finally a star, you own your own shop or game, or have become the one the other roustabouts all look up to. Whatever your career path, you have finally become the top dog, but that doesn't mean you can rest. There's still much to do to keep your position. Keep at it and there might be another promotion . . .

02 ¤ Listen to the owners and respect their decisions.
03 ¤ Be active in the main thread, including RP and general chatter. We want to know you!
04 ¤ Ask questions in the main thread, or PM them when appropriate.
05 ¤ Use brackets for OOC chatter when there is roleplay in the main thread.
06 ¤ Keep OOC chatter to a minimum when there is roleplay going on.
07 ¤ Try to use proper third-person story format when roleplaying with others.
08 ¤ Read the front page!

Please Don't
01 ¤ Take or modify any art or graphics from this shop without expressed permission.
02 ¤ Start flamewars and arguments. If you have any issues, please PM the shop mule so that we may address the situation.
03 ¤ Advertise other shops or threads in here, even for affliation. You get one warning and this is it.
04 ¤ Use chatspeak in the shop. If we can't read what you're saying, you're not important enough for our time.
05 ¤ Dissuade others from questing or entering events. It's rude.
06 ¤ Post in someone's journal without their permission.
07 ¤ PM the artists. They have enough to worry about without you pestering them.
08 ¤ Use fancy custom post styles and graphics. If we can't figure out what you're saying, you're not important to us. You get one warning and this is it.
09 ¤ Argue about the rules. If you don't like the rules, don't join the shop! Arguing may result in warnings. Warnings may result in banning.

Absolute Rules
01 ¤ The word of the shop owners is final in all matters pertaining to the shop.
02 ¤ There will be absolutely NO god-moding. At all. Period.
03 ¤ Rules may be modified or added as needed.
04 ¤ If the artist working on your Carnie leaves Gaia for some unforeseen reason, we will try to get your Carnie art from them, but please be prepared to accept art from one of the other staff artists. Life happens and we'll do the best we can in that situation.
05 ¤ You may have up to five Carnies, but remember to give everyone a chance.
06 ¤ Do not hassle the owners or artists about promotions for the Carnies or breeding slots. We will let you know when you meet the requirements.

Sales Rules

01 ¤ Check the front page for when the next occurring sales event is. It will be posted directly under the news. Please do not ask in the thread about sales or PM the staff on obtaining one.
02 ¤ Flatsale Carnies will be 20k. No arguments. You must have payment in full if you win, gold only. We don't have layaway here.
03 ¤ Each flatsale will be with a writing prompt. As these are RP-heavy, we'd like to see your skills. You will have a set time to enter an entry, at which point they will be judged on creativity and quality. We're not looking for Shakespeare here, but we do appreciate a well-written entry and subsequently well-written roleply and journal entries.
04 ¤ Prompts will be posted prior to the flatsale by ten to fifteen minutes (allowing for human error) to give time for entrants to have proper time to plan out what they're going to write out for an entry. Flatsales will last anywhere between an hour to two hours, starting with a staff member using the mule to post "GO!" and ending when the mule posts "STOP!" Entries will then be judged by the staff and winners will be posted within the next 24 hours. First place will get first choice and so forth until all Carnies are placed with Puppeteers. Five minutes will be allowed after the "STOP!" for late entries, but entries later than that will be disqualified.
05 ¤ Keep all sales/events threads civil. If we catch you being an a**, you will be disqualified from entering the current event. If you are already a Puppeteer and we catch you being a jerk, you will be reprimanded according to how poorly you are acting. Just don't be a d**k to people.

Information for rules borrowed and tweaked from every other rp-heavy b/c shop out there.

It is now 2507 and over four hundred years have passed since the apocalypse. There was no great war or end of the world, humanity simply got sick and wasted away. Most of them, anyway. A few were lucky enough, smart enough, or just rich enough to preserve themselves in the hopes that someday something might save them. They didn't have to wait long. From out of the darkness, the heavens, and storybooks they came back. Races that had lay in wait, forgotten or repelled by humans. The Fae came first, healing the Earth and the sleeping Humans. The Angels came next to reestablish order. Lastly came the Demons to allow for chaos once again by awakening the Humans.

There was supposed to be peace, but as things never go as planned, a small scuffle broke out over what was left of the great decaying cities and territories. The countries and governments of the past no longer had standing and new alliances and domains were established, the Fae taking over most of the governing duties to quell the Humans need to dominate. They reestablished races as well, the old ones no longer having any more relevance than the old governments did.

Overtime, the many races intermingled while they developed their new countries and territories and a new race emerged: the Hybrids. They are the children of the other races, accepted and shunned by all. A great many Hybrids hold no claim to any countries, choosing instead to be citizens of the world. Their adventures and travels inspired many others, particularly one race of Northern Humans called Didikai. So began the clan-run carnivals traveling the grand technologically advanced cities and the quaint colonial villages. The carnies are the true citizens of the world, getting to see all of what Earth has become under the guidance of the mystical Fae, the righteous Angels, the devious Demons, and the Humans still trying to get a foothold back in the world they once ruled.

Thus begins your journey as a resident of one such carnival. Farstep Carnivale is a long-established traveling show, tracing its roots back one hundred-fifty years when the Grady clan decided to stop farming and begin seeing the world. Farstep is renowned for opening its doors to any and all races, and because of this they are allowed passage to most cities around the world. Step lively and tread carefully. Your adventure is just beginning . . .

How do I obtain one?

You'll have to wait for events to happen. Flatsales are the most common way to acquire a Carnie, but there will be auctions, raffles, and breedings as well. Keep an eye on the event section at the top for the next oppurtunity!

Will we be able to bribe you for a Carnie?

At this moment in time, no. We are also not open to pet trades at the moment, either. This may be subject to change, at which point you should refer to each of the owners' corners to see what they are available for.

What about real life payments?

We will never accept real money for any of the Carnies. If you're interested in supporting an artist from the shop, find out if they're available for commissions off Gaia.

If the world is set in the future, why are some of the cities extremely advanced while others have regressed in technology?

Not everyone was able to work with what they had and many of the larger cities were abandoned to become enormous ruins when the population there were unable to get the power running enough to sustain them. The most advanced cities are more than likely not ones run by Humans as they turned back to the basics for the most part. Cities run by Angels are the most technologically advanced in science, Fae technology is arcane based, and no one really wants to know what Demons use for a a power source.

Why are some races very detailed on subraces and others are not?

Angels and Demons do not have breakdowns beyond their four subraces while Humans and Fae have an incredible variety of types under their four subraces. It is as follows:

Angels ¤ Seraphim, Cherubim, Nephalim, and Ophanim
Demons ¤ Eldritch, Succubi, Incubi, and Vampires
Fae ¤ Fairy, Mythic, Aquarian, and Folklore
Humans ¤ Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern

What exactly determines the child's race from breeding?

If the parents are of the same race, the child will be what the parents are. However, there will be a lot of chances of Hybrids to be made from breeding. How much they gain from one parent or the other depends on the individual and genetics.

More Q&A will be added as needed.

¤ Humans

Up until four hundred years ago, the were the dominant race, shaping the planet to their will and for their convience. The destruction they had done nearly tore the Earth apart. No one quite knows where the wasting sickness came from that nearly wiped them out, but a very few think it was brought about by the other races in an attempt to reclaim the Earth for themselves.

xxxxxNortherns ¤ Pale and fair, these are the Humans the other races began referring to as Northern due to their coloring. While most sport the pale skin and fair hair/eyes, it's not unusual to see darker skin or coloring among them, either. Most Northern humans, as their name suggests, actually did move to the more northern territories, although they can be found throughout the world.

xxxxxEasterns ¤ The Humans of what were once the indigenous populations of Asia and the Middle East make up the majority of this subrace. Most of them have, over the centuries, returned to the lands of their ancestors. Outside of their own villages and towns, they can most often be found living among Fae and Angel cities, finding an odd comfort in the mysticism and religious familiarity of these races.

xxxxxSoutherns ¤ Compromised of the darker-skinned Humans, this subrace has migrated down to the tropical regions over time to reestablish settlements. Most of these have harkened back to a more tribal lifestyles and few are seen in the more advanced cities. Rich in forgotten cultures, this subrace thrives on traditions from their ancestors.

xxxxxWesterns ¤ A hodgepodge group, the rest of Humanity seems to be lumped into this subrace. Often seen living on the outskirts of Demon and Angelic cities or forging new ground in the lost territories. Resilient and tough, Westerns tend to thrive in any situation, clinging to neither tradition or, in some cases, reason.

Fae ¤

Hidden in the recesses of imagination and stories, the Fae had long waited for the fall of Humans so they may reclaim the Earth. Many think they are the ones responsible for the wasting disease that nearly wiped out the Humans. If they were, they'll never own up to it. Vying for power among the new territories, what they lack in science, they more than make up for in arcane magic, powering their cities with the bright blue energy. In the smaller communities, they are farmers and villagers.

xxxxxFairies ¤ Members of the Seelie and Unseelie courts make of the bulk of this subrace. They are the driving force behind their cities, ruling the other subraces. More often than not, if there is a clash between the Fae and Angels, one can bet the Fairies are behind it.

xxxxxMythic ¤ These are the Fae told about in stories of old. Descendants of dragons, unicorns, satyr, griffins, nymphs, and the like, they tend to be free spirits, enjoying their time spent away from cities. Relying on their naturalistic instincts and skills, they are most at home in small village communities or living alone in forests. They get along well with Southern Humans.

xxxxxAquarian ¤ Every fae creature of the sea makes up this subrace, be it merfolk or sirens or darker denizens of the deep seas and forgotten fresh water lakes. Most at home in the water, they can also be found living in seaside communities. Very few venture far from their waters and those that do must always have a way to submerge themselves often. They are mostly a solitary subrace, but have been known to befriend Northern and Southern Humans as well as some of the lesser Fae.

xxxxxFolklore ¤ Not much is known about this subrace of Fae other than they appear to be made up of those from the stories of cultures that were not popularized by western culture. Hailing from what was Africa and Asia and down into parts of South America, Folklore Fae like to keep to themselves and can be very xenophobic toward other races. Very few have befriended Angels and Humans of the Southern and Eastern subraces.

User Image

¤ Angels

Silently they watched over the Earth for thousands of years, appearing rarely to the Humans. Although they are not creatures of religion, more than a few have allowed for Humans to believe they were for sake of making messages to them easier. They also have much of the blame thrown their way for the wasting disease, though, like the Fae, they will not admit fault if there is any.

xxxxxCherubim ¤ Perpetually child-like and bubbly, these Angels have small feathered wings. Many of them resemble small children throughout much of their longs lives, making it almost impossible to know their true ages. They are the closest out of their race to the Humans.

xxxxxSeraphim ¤ Classically what is thought of as how Angels are supposed to look, Seraphim are regally tall and beautiful with large feathered wings. They are often the leaders among their race, governing their cities and working as political and social authorities. The most often butt heads with the Fae and Demons, though are friendly enough with the Humans.

xxxxxOphanim ¤ Militant and war-like, these Angels are the most distant from the other races. If they are social at all, it is usually to clash with the Demons. While they remain solitary, they are still very present in all Angel cities and many Human cities as police and military forces. They have a very distinct hierarchy in their ranks and can be a very unforgiving subrace.

xxxxxNephalim ¤ Every race has their black sheep and Nephalim more than fill that role for their brethren. They most resemble Humans and sport scruffy, bedraggled feathered wings. Shady and secretive, they are the only Angels to get along with the Demons.

Demons ¤

From the darkness and the underbelly of the world, Demons creeped forth. No other race is blamed more for the wasting sickness than they are, even though they were the ones to release the Humans from their slumber. It's rare to find any Demons living outside of their cities, as the feel more comfortable around their own kind. Those that do venture out are very antisocial to the other races.

xxxxxEldritch ¤ The rulers of their race, they wield almost absolute power in their cities. Corrupt and dangerous, they only very rarely interact with the other races. If they do, it is only because they are shunned from their own kind and are outcasts. Resembling Humans with elongated tapered ears and small horns, they are what is thought to be the typical vision of Demonkind.

xxxxxVampires ¤ Closest in resemblance to Humans, they often live among them either as sleeper agents for the Eldritch or because they are more comfortable around their kind. They appear as Northern Humans and their only telltale sign is their solid blood-red colored eyes. They don't drink blood as the stories would lead one to believe, but instead feed on life energies of their victims.

xxxxxSuccubi ¤ An all female subrace of Demons that seem to have no real loyalties outside of their unwavering allegiance to the Eldritch. Seductive and alluring, they are often cruel in their affairs. Selfish to a fault, it is almost unheard of for one to be in love, though they breed without conviction, often taking on many lovers who are generally kept as pets.

xxxxxIncubi ¤ The other side of the coin, Incubi are an all-male subrace of Demons. Like their counterparts, they, too, are seductive and cruel. They have been known to keep harems and rarely fall in love. They have less of an allegiance to the Eldritch and will actually work with other races on occasion.

User Image

¤ Hybrids
As expected and despite differences, there has been and will be some cross-breeding among the races. Unlike all the other races, Hybrids lack subraces as it would be hard to categorize them accurately. They tend to refer to their "subrace" as being what their parents were (e.g. Demon x Fae, Human x Angel, ect.) and their features most resemble their dominant parent. As such, any abilities that might be inherited are less than their parents'.

Interestingly, Human x Human breedings do not result in Hybrids, though some may like to claim being of two subraces when in reality their subrace is determined most often by the dominant genetic traits, though sometimes culture plays a role. A child between a Northern Didikai Human and a Southern Kaikoura Human will genetically result in a Kaikoura child, but culturally, the child will be Didikai if the Kaikoura is a part of the clan of their mate. Therefore, a Human child of two subraces is simply considered the subrace of the dominant parent.

Among the Fae, Hybrids genealogy is broken down a lot more. The offspring of Fae from two different subraces (and sometimes from the same subrace if the parents are from two different families e.g. Pixie x Redcap) will always considered a Hybrid, though they, more than any other Hybrid type will tend to go into the details of their lineage, dropping their races in favor of subraces and sometimes breaking those down, too e.g. Aquarian [Siren] x Fairy [Sidhe].

The races view Hybrids differently. Some are far more accepting than others and a few will try to be rid of the unfortunate children. Amazingly with this knowledge, Hybrids do tend to make up a large bulk of the population of all the major cities. Quite a few of them live on the outskirts in smaller communities as well. With so many diverse races living in the world, it's not hard to see any number of Hybrids among a decently-sized population.

Some races, however, do not yield Hybrid children at all or have other such limits. Succubi and Incubi are unable to have Hybrid children. This means that if an Incubi breeds with anything, and the child is born male, it will be fully Incubi, it's other parents' genetics disgarded. An Incubi's female child will be whatever her mother is without her father's genetics. The same goes for Succubi, they can only pass their genes to their female offspring. Some races have such strong genetics, that their Hybrid offspring will be almost completely what they are. An Aquarian's Hybrid child will be very much as they are e.g. a Merfolk x Eldritch Hybrid will be more than like a Merfolk child with the horns and tapered ears (though perhaps webbed as their Merfolk parent's are). They might gain some of their Eldritch parent's abilities, but they'd be much weaker compared to the abilities gained from their Merfolk parent.

Very, very few interracial breedings will actually yield a different race instead of a Hybrid. These are very surprised parents indeed. This happens not because there are other races in their family trees, but because their combined races actually are the parent races of another race. This happens most often with Fae subracecrossbreedings, but has been seen to happen with children of two different base races. The chances of this event happening are extremely rare, so much so that no one really even knows what two races might even yield children of a third race.

One must also remember that Hybrids are treated differently, depending on the location, populace, or sometimes the individual they are encountering. It is not uncommon for Hybrids to be abandoned by their parents any more than it is uncommon for their parents to love and accept them unconditionally. The same goes for society. Some people view Hybrids as abominations while others view them as a natural progression of evolution and racial interaction. Hybrids themselves even have mixed views about what they are. It would not be unusual to find a Hybrid that is depressed or has an amount of self-loathing. Often they are sad and lost creatures, dancing between their mixed blood, unable to truly feel like they are a complete person. Some, however, embrace their mixed heritage and are well-adjusted happy individuals. However they feel about themselves, good or bad, is often compounded and influenced by how others view them. A Hybrid exposed to love and acceptance is more likely to feel good about themselves than one that is raised believing they are a stain on their collective races.

¤ Daily Life
"We work before we play." That has always been one of Keagan Grady's longest standing laws of the carnival. The didikai and those that live with them as part of Farstep Carnivale have always been hard workers. They could not thrive with entertainers alone. Much of the carnival is made up of vendors and roustabouts with performers, while just under management on the pecking order, being so few. Even performers, though, have shown initiative to do menial labor when needed.

Farstep Carnivale is run by the Grady Clan of Northern Humans, subgroup didikai. They are a nomadic people and over time their way of life has gathered Humans of other subraces as well as other races all together. While only Humans can truly be didikai, most people outside of the carnival (referred to as 'outsiders') will call anyone living/traveling with Farstep a didikoy (singular of didikai) or, worse, a pikey. The carnival itself tends to consider all those born into it as didikai and those that join will eventually be accepted as such, too. Status among the didikai, aside from jobs, also depends on birth. Those born in the carnival are thought of higher than those who join and those with at least one parents who truly is didikai (Human) have even greater standing, and at the top of this social ladder would be those who are purebred didikai (both parents are racially Human didikai).

Generally, the carnival stays on the outskirts of a town or city for a week or two at time. They may stay longer, depending on the size of the city. Farstep is not open to the public for all of that time, however. The first day or two is generally for setting up the tents, booths, and rides. The carnival then opens on the third day of their arrival and is open for two or three days straight. Then there is a break for a day or two so that inhabitants can go to the towns or cities to buy supplies or just look around. The carnival continues being open to the public for another few days. There may be another break or two if the stay is longer than a week. The last two days would consist of breaking down the tents, booths, and rides and getting them ready for transport.

The Grady Clan uses large beasts of burden to transport Farstep Carnivale around. Draft horses are the most common animal used, and every family has at least one Vanner to pull their vardo or cart. The larger carts and wagons that house the tents and rides are usually pulled by the few elephants the carnival owns or by teams of Shires (very large draft horse). There are a rare few non-sentient and semi-sentient animals of mythical origin also living among the carnival and it is not unusual to see a chimera pulling a cart instead of a horse.

Marriages among the clan (of which all races within the carnival are part of) are, for the most part, because two people who love each other wish to join in matrimony, though there are a fair number of arranged marriages as well. It is also not unusual for a matchmaker to be used in the event the person is just really unlucky in love. Divorce is rare among the didikai, but annulments happen frequently, often the newlyweds finding they rushed into the marriage. An annulment can not be performed until the couple has been married for at least twenty-four hours and must be done in the first three months of marriage. It is also quite alright for same-gender marriages as well as a marriage that consists of three people (in any combination). For same-gender couples, there can be adoptions available for them when they wish to start a family. Family sizes are dependent upon the couple, but it is not uncommon for didikai to have large families. Traditionally, they do have a lot of children and this harkens back to when they were still farmers having just awakened from the Slumber and were reestablishing their communities.

Rearing a child in the carnival is an interesting task. Children are expected to attend school between the ages of five and seventeen. Due to a cut off period that any child that is born before this time may attend school at the start of the school year (beginning November 1st). This means that any child born before and on October 31st may attend school as early as four years of age. Their parents may choose to hold them back a year, but most go ahead and put their kids in school. For older children that hold jobs (and they are expected to as young as thirteen), they may attend school every other day. A child is considered an adult at the age of sixteen, allowing for them to marry and have a voice at councils, but they still must graduate from school. A child may also move into their own vardo or tent and be independent of their parents at the age of thirteen if they are able to afford it and are capable of living on their own.

¤ Job Paths
There are three job classes in Farstep Carnivale: Vendor, Roustabout, and Performer. All Carnies start out the same way, as Apprentices. As they choose a career path, they will move up though the ranks.

Apprentice ¤ This is how life begins in Farstep Carnivale, whether you are born to the clan or join it from outside. You are on your first step to really becoming part of the carnival. You will soon choose your job path.

Requirements: Journal set-up (2 reserved posts allowed, rest must be completed), one journal entry about the character's life in Farstep and their class choice

Apprentice (Class) ¤You've chosen your path and have likely started training on your new job, but have not quite done enough to be fully considered part of that class.

Requirements: 2 journal entries (1 new entry + previous 1), 2 RPs, PM to the shop mule with 3 suggestions on Carnie's new look (keep their new job in mind! not all suggestions have to be followed, but most probably will)

Journeyman ¤ Having proven yourself capable of doing more than just helping out, you have been given rights to count yourself among your class and hold your own in your job. You also are able to keep a share of your earnings in your trade, be it from ticket sales to see your performances, from sales of wares you made, or simply being paid for your work as a roustabout.

Requirements: 7 journal entries (5 new entries + previous 2), 5 RPs (3 new + previous 2)

Expert ¤ You've made your bones and made them well. Now you are allowed to own your own booth, perform in your own acts, or oversee other workers in your class. You've quite established yourself in your field and your name is recognized.

Requirements: 15 journal entries (8 new + 7 previous), 10 RPs (5 new + 5 previous), 1 RP with Keagan Grady (played by Jynk)

Master ¤ Finally you have arrived. You are a headlining act or have your own booth in the sideshow. You are most likely running your own vendor booth and might have your own employees. You are in charge of setting up tents and overseeing details for moving the carnival or are in charge of the care of the animals and props. Everyone in the clan knows who you are and you have a lot of pull at councils.

This is not the end of the road, though. There are rumors of higher positions than this for truly dedicated, loyal, and hard working members of the carnival.

So, you wanna know about me eh? Well alright, cant say i didnt warn you =D
I've been on Gaia since about o4, and got hooked into breedables shortly after that. I love to RP, and enjoy characters that are challenging and interesting to play. I tend to put a little bit of myself in every character, whether its in their personality, or in what happens to them in 'life'. I'm a creative person, who's a little off kilter biggrin In the harmless entertaining way. wink
Like any well rounded person, i have multiple obsessions. Egypt, and anything egypt related (Anubis at the top of the list) rocks my socks right out of the room. Cows. I...dont know how it happened, or even when really. Its an obsession that happened without warning. Anything cow patterened cannot be wrong. It just cant. Drizzt Do'Urden, from Forgotten Realms Series. He's a fantabulous character and i just adore him. Fuzzy socks. No description needed.
Oh! Anything caffeinated. Seriously. Coffee, tea, fraps, caps, you name it. If it jolts i love it. So uh. Now you know?

Well, i suppose you want to know what it is i uh...do around here to have a fancy post all for meself. Aside from being an official Jynk pestererer and cling-on for past 3/4 years, i help out. With flatsales, auctions, opinion tosser-atter. Whatever Jynk needs help with.
I'm also availible to answer questions, and be of assistance when she's not around. Granted i may confuse you further biggrin

So, if you want to know anything else, feel free to ask, in thread or through PM. I dont bite, promise biggrin

Random Pet's.

Is….useless! D;

Oh, wait, I’m supposed to actually say useful things, uh…

Well, I’m always happy to listen and try to help if you need to vent, or ask advice…
I have a habit of bashing my own art and calling it crap….and rightfully so. :’D
I’m near always open for RP, and AIMRP as well if we exchange information on AIM.
I really don’t like talking about myself.
Rambling about my characters or most anything else, however, is a different matter entirely. I pity your ears if you manage to get me started. ;D
I have mild Obsessive Compulsive Disorder….one of the things that bothers me deeply? Spelling/grammar mistakes. If I make any in one of my RPs and fail to spot them, please tell me so I can fix them.
Classic rock is tasty.

And if you really want to learn about me, just talk to me. xD

My job here? Well, basically, I try to help whenever I can, make Jynk’s life a bit easier. Get conversation going in the thread, fight of the invading horde, you name it.
I’m also a good person to talk to if you’re having troubles with anything, shop-related or otherwise, I’m very good with mediation and conflict resolution, all that fun stuff.

And apparently all the cool kids are putting pets in their little description post things, so I figure I may as well. :’D [Not included are my Farstep ‘pets’, but you know where to find those. ;D]

Custom Rules
01 ¤ Do not PM the artist or shop mule if there are no open slots.
02 ¤ Prices are subject to change depending on business.
03 ¤ No discouraging others from seeking customs or stealing others' ideas for customs.
04 ¤ Please don't be upset if i decline your custom idea. It might just not gel with the shop at the time.

Custom FAQ
How do I order? ¤ Fill out the form located below (if there are slots open), PM it to the shop mule. I will reply if you have been accepted or declined at this time. If accepted, please send payment to the shop mule. All trades will be completed upon completion of custom pets.
Will there be discounts in pricing? ¤ Sorry, but no. 200k is very reasonable for a fully custom pet with unique lineart.
What sort of bribes do you look for? ¤ Usually anything from Jynk's wishlist would be a good start.
Will you accept pet trades? ¤ If you feel you'd like to try trading a pet from a shop that you own, PM the shop mule and pitch the idea. I will only accept full customs for full customs. If I decline, don't be upset, please. I may not be into your pet shop idea or be busy at the time.
Will you be taking real life customs? ¤ Eventually, so keep an eye out.
I really want a custom but all your slots are taken. ¤ Not exactly a question. Still, have you checked the Bribe slot? If all possible slots are closed, please be patient for one to open.
Can I quest for a custom Carnie? ¤ By all means, please do. I might even set up a place in the guilds for people looking for a place to keep track of their funds and ideas for customs.
Are you going to eat that pickle? ¤ Yes, I am.

Available Slots & Prices
01 ¤ 200k - CLOSED
02 ¤ 200k - CLOSED
03 ¤ Bribe - OPEN/b]
04 ¤ Pet Trade - OPEN

The Custom Slots
These slots will be open until claimed. They work like any custom, but are limited in that I might not draw the Carnie you want due to its type being scheduled for auctions, sales, ect. or I might not feel it fits with the current world of Farstep. These are fully custom through all stages of their being. They will also start at the second stage, being Apprentices with their career paths chosen.

The Bribe Slot
The slot will be open regardless of other events' status or if the regular custom slots are closed. Only something worthwhile and worth the price will be considered for this slot. Meaning, if you want a Carnie that I'm less likely to auction, sale, raffle, or even do as a custom, this might be the place to attempt having me draw it.

The Pet Trade Slot
Only owners of B/C shops or staff with express permission from B/C shops qualify for this slot. I will review the trade offers on case-by-case basis. I do not have a posted list of pets I might be interested in, so every shop is fair game. Please, do not be upset if i decline. This is the only slot allowed to PM me if it's closed.
