    ››› Please make your roleplay posts literate. We do not expect epic poetry, but we will not accept chat or 1337 speak. In addition, please keep your posts to a single tense.
    ››› Stella Velle's setting is in Gaia, so your Wish can interact with other Gaians and your other rpáble pets. But please keep it to a reasonable level.
    ››› No god-moding and no Mary Sue/Gary Stu. Like every other person in the world, your character will have some level of limitations.
    ››› You may not roleplay imaginary or quest Wishes. If you are questing for a Wish, you are free to offer up ideas occasionally about how your character would react, but actual roleplaying is out until the Wish is official.
    ››› If you have begun a PRP or ORP, please make an effort to complete it. If it is obvious to Staff that you haven't made an effort to post in your PRP, it will not count toward your growth requirements.
    ››› Wishes come in both RP-required and RP-optional versions. However, regardless of what type you have, as long as you own an official Wish, you are welcome to RP it here. RP-optional Wishes simply do not grow based on the roleplay done by the guardian.

Once upon a time in the great abyss of the universe there was only the stars and the void of nothing. The nothing existed for unparalleled eons until at last a single consciousness evolved to maintain coherent thought, and as it observed it became. The consciousness was that of the largest star in the smallest galaxy and it revelled in everything that became as it 'saw'. The cosmos and the light of other's of it's own kind, the mystery of the black void which became 'space'. Slowly, one by one, other stars began to 'see' as well.

But that was all they could do. Observe, exist and wonder at the others whom they could perceive but not communicate to. It was solitary...lonely. But it was peaceful.

And then the stars became dormant and their light dimmed. But this left the question of what happened to that energy? That spark? It took another Milena for others to notice that those stars which were reclusive and no longer shined as bright beheld something within them more interesting than the void, the cosmos or other stars. They had life, some was a half done sort of life where only rocks the likeness of asteroids would form. Some had decadent environments with greenery and small animals which somehow all survived in a harmonious balance. All born from the 'dormant' star. At last the stars had more to watch than themselves.

It all seemed to ebb and flow. The stars watched in awe, observing and thus 'creating'. When a star grew weary of observing it became the creation, growing dim and eventually life would appear on it's surface too.

Many years later it would come to an individual's attention that something sparkling was falling to the planet called Earth. The individual would behold the star and, as ancient predecessors had done so before, make a wish.

Though why the stars fell in the first place was beyond the imaginings of anyone who cared to question the phenomenon.

1. The race of fallen wishes are called just wishes for plural and a singular Fallen star is a Wish. Easy right? A secondary names for Wishes is stars. much like calling a group of People a group of Humans. Wishes is just more casual than Stars.
2. All wishes have a star mark on them somewhere.
3. It is not yet known what or whom caused the stars to fall and grant wishes.
4. One wish per Wish, they can grant no more than that bar some very rare exceptions.
5. All fallen stars fall because a certain type of wish causes it to do so. If a person wishes for the tastiest birthday cake a Wish drawn to food related wishes will fall. To pass an exam a determined or lucky wish may fall. There are many 'types' of wishes, some unique and some similar. It really all depends on what is wished.
6. All wishes must strive to grant the desire of the one who wished on their star but they don't have to like it. Just because you wish for world domination doesn't mean the Wish will make it come true via gunfire and war like you want. It may also bring about world peace under your order. Thus you get your wish, just not the way you wanted it. Some Wishes of course see eye to eye with whomever makes the wish and will grant it accordingly.
7. Wishes have little to no memory of what it was like before plummeting to earth.

A star has fallen at your feet, how delightfull! It's so hot and bright, you can't even get close to at the moment.

2. Bottled Wish
The star's cooled down,but it's illumination sure hasn't! It's like some weird power...tThe kind of power that grants wishes. Hey that's not a bad idea! Maybe if you write your wish down and keep it close your wish will come true! Better keep it contained though, never know what could happen to a fallen star right?

3. Baby Wish
What the? A small chibi-like child has sprung up, but where's the star gone and why is this kid glowing? It seems able to communicate, maybe talk to it?

4. Teen Wish
The little thing has grown! It looks between 12-15 and is much more active, the glow has gone down though. I wonder why that is? Not only this they seem to have developed some rather interesting manifestations. And what are they talking about, some kind of wish?

5a. Unfulfilled Wish
The child..thing grew again but it did not fulfill the wish. It's glow is lost, what will happen to it on this planet?

This stage is permanent.

5b. Fulfilled Wish
Joy! Remember that wish you wrote down so long ago? Well it came true! But, the little star has grown into an adult wish now and shines so brightly. Does it dream of returning home to the night sky?

This stage is permanent.

2 PRPs = 1 ORP

Requirements and Conversions In Depth
We recognize that not everyone approaches a B/C journal shop quite the same way, so conversions allows you to somewhat customize your experience in Stella Velle, in regards to what you have to do for your RP-required Wish to grow. However, there are limits to how many conversions you can do, and to what each side of the equation means. Two solo journal entries of at least three paragraphs each will equal one private roleplay thread of at least two full pages. Two private roleplay threads of at least two full pages will equal one open roleplay thread of at least three pages. And these equations work both ways. So if you want to use an open roleplay thread to equal two of your private roleplay requirements, you need for it to reach at least three full pages. And to use an open roleplay thread to equal four solo journal entries, you must use up two conversions in addition to the three full pages required.

This is where you can find links to all kinds of events. Rp based, sales, games etc. Listed events will say what type of event they are and you may see that event thread for rules and participation.

Sales will work on the basis that there will always be at least one rp-optional Wish unless otherwise stated.
However, no matter which you intend to apply for a short, or long, answer to a prompt must be given either way. Winners of non-rp mandatory pets will be judged off this answer so it’s not a case of first in first served.

Auctions would work on the basis that after a certain amount is bid rp is optional. So if you wanted the auction wish to be non-rp mandatory and the minimum bid increment for it to be rp optional was 20k your first bid would have to be 20k otherwise you would have to rp.

All standard sale rules apply. Please remember that non-rp mandatory wishes have a higher cost than rp mandatory Wish and also come with a never rehome policy unlike rp mandatory which have a two year hiatus and then rehome policy. No refunds unless under certain circumstances.

Wishes can breed at the 4th stage, though rp would be benifical for it. Breedings can be purchased by two consenting parties. Wishes procreate by two coming together and simply dispersing half of their own glow to create a whole. Usually this created wish will skip the first stage and for this reason the wish must be immediately given to another. Either the owners decide or the shop will have an event for it. Wishes can only breed once in their lifetime if they wish to be able to keep their powers and fulfill the wish asked of them, or they may breed a second time and become stage 5a.

Due to the method, many types of couples can breed and it doesn't have to be a 'love'relationship either. Platonic love between friends, a common desire by two individuals or just something special from a previous couple who now wish to treasure what has been rather than what is.

Q. What are these types i keep hearing about?
A. Wishes have their own ‘types’ making an almost limitless amount of types. Some are reused and some are not. For instance there might be a ‘I wish for cake’ Wish and a ‘I wish for lollies for breakfast everyday’ Wish. Both might go under a ‘Sweets’ Type. However if there’s a ‘I want to rule the world all by myself’ Wish it may have it’s own unique type such as ‘Domination’ or’ Pure evil’ xD

Q. Are there twins?
A. Course there are! However twins share a star and a wish. So even though you have 2 ‘people’ they’re still only granting 1 wish. It’s uncommon but it can happen. Twins can be owned by an individual or co-owned.

Q. Can twins breed?
A. D: Er...well since nothing is actually involved I suppose yes but because the wish is technically using itself to create another wish there can be side effects. The new ‘wish’ may be an exact copy of the twins, making a belated triplet, or, worst case scenario one of the twins will fade entirely since instead of using half of each twin a full twin’s glow was used instead. If this happens neither twin can grant the wish and both will lose their shine. If it is accepted the created wish can then take on the previous wish which it’s creators failed to fulfill OR it may take on it’s own wish as well as the previous wish.

In short, inbreeding -don’t do it unless you really want to try your luck xD

Q. Can I decide the wish?
A. Flat sales will usually have a wish already delegated to the fallen star and the ‘type’ will indicate what kind of wish it will be. However the actual wish will not be known until the second stage.

Auctions will usually let you choose a wish, however type will have already been decided by staff. Usually it’ll be a broad type open for interpretation though.

There are two types of semi customs, one where you indicate what wish you want, type and gender and we surprise you with an image and the second type is where you dictate hair/eye color and maybe some clothing or something special…idk, bunny ears? Then staff decide what type, gender and wish it’ll be. It’s a bit of a trade off.

Customs you get to choose the wish outright.

Q. I don't want to rp but I love one of the wishes put up for an rp mandatory sale. Can I still try for it?
A. You can, however you must enter as if you intend to rp. As in you type a prompt response and we judge it. If you win, X amount of gold will be added to the initial flatsale price to correspond with the 'pay more for not rp'ing' policy in place. Though, as it was an rp mandatory sale don't expect X amount of gold added to be cheap. I don't like taking away from people who would remain active within a store just for some extra gold. =/

Q. I want to rp but I adore one of the non rp mandatory wishes. Can I still do this?
A. You can. Simply enter the non rp mandatory sale and fill in the form. If you're picked above all other entrants simply pay the fee. However if you do so the non rp mandatory fee will not be deducted and you will be expected to pay in full.

Q. In an event with both rp and non rp mandatory wishes can I enter for both?
A. Yes but be aware only one wish can be won from any single event so if you win both you have to choose. Along these lines make as many entries as you like in any sale but once again remember you can only win one.

Q.How many can I own?
A. How many wishes do you make? A lifetime full that's how many! Thus wishes are not limited to one per person, and like real wishing it is unlimited. However only take on as many rp-able ones as you can handle. Unofficially there's a mental cap of 2 rp mandatory wishes and 3 non mandatory but if anyone proves to be able to handle more they will not have anything held against them if they choose to enter an event. Also again remember that you can only win one per sale and, furthermore, if you win in an event you can not enter into the next one. This is to encourage more new people to have a go.

Q. I have an rp mandatory Wish and want it to become non rp mandatory. Can I do that ( and vice versa )
A. If you want to go from rp mandatory to non mandatory there's a 20k reversal charge and you can only do this after you've achieved the 4th stage. Otherwise, what was the point in going for an rp mandatory one in the first place?

To make a non rp mandatory pet into an rp mandatory pet just let the shop know and begin to rp. This can be done from the 3rd stage but you will not get the extra gold for a non rp mandatory pet back as you've already aged 3 stages without doing anything.

Q. I want to rp my non rp-mandatory Wish, can I?
A. 'Course you can! However the roleplay will not effect growth speed or anything else. It's just rp'ing without the hassle of journals, formalities or anything else.
