I reckon!^^ But I seem to have trouble finding shops that sell them whenever I'm lurking the B/C forum. Maybe it's just me?
It's not. Trust me. I sifted, sorted and DUG for an ACTIVE PIXEL PET SHOP in the B/C today, and was unable to find ONE. All of them seemed to close, go on hiatus, or just suddenly halt in activity at around 2008. Which does not seem right, but it was creepy how that number kept showing up on the last posts. 2008: The year Pixel Pets died. gonk I miss other pixel pet shops. It make-- well actually. I have to say, Matope is probably one of my favorite shops in the B/C of ALL TIME. Just because it mixes the love of pixel art and the "tag-pets" (as I call them) into one pet. Also, their artists are just DAMN TALENTED, OMG. Have you seen their elemental event?? I'll have to post a link, the art is just GORGEOUS!! heart heart
ALTHOUGH,
pixel art is still VERY prevalent in the Mini Shops forum. In fact that appears to be a very strong media used there. However the Mini Shops function differently, and don't have cute customizable certs and the like. In fact I really don't understand the mini shops. "I'd like a red kitty graphic please!" "Okay, here's the non-example picture." "AWESOME. Now what am I supposed to do with it?" "I don't know, that'll be 500g please." neutral question I find the B/C Shops to be much more.. purposeful, and they make sense. Now, custom blinkie graphics, avatar art, avatar edits, and all that I understand, it's just the shops that sell the same piece of art to multiple people that I don't get.
