Name: Shenella (Shen)
Meaning: None
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown; appears to be in her late 20s
Primary Occupation: Mother Figure
Personality: Shen isn't the mother figure of the Illusionaries for nothing: she is an altruist, likes small children, and kind to a fault. She is willing to forgive almost anyone, so long as they ask for that forgiveness. But don't mistake her for a pushover; if there is a goal she wishes to accomplish (and mark you, there most certainly is), she is willing to do almost anything -- that is, if it poses little risk to innocent bystanders.
History: Not much is known about Shen's life before she came to Gaia; nor is anyone sure just how she came in the first place. For several years, Shen has worked to bring souls from the Illusionary multiverse into the world of Gaia, in order to give them a second life that is not ruled over by an inescapable fate. Originally Shen had worked with her partner, Anari, to achieve their goals. However, soon after they had begun their efforts, Anari disappeared. Shen now works by herself to continue rescuing souls from their destined not-happily-ever-afters.

Name: Avedis (Ave)

Primary Occupation: Smartass
Personality: Avedis is so holier-than-thou and smartassy it's not funny. If he didn't have a tendency to rip holes in the fabric of space, you might call him a fop; as it is, he's more of a bad-a**-mofo. He is fastidiously neat and extremely loyal to his "master", whoever that is.
History: He doesn't have one because he hasn't had time to make one up.

Name: Kallistrae (Strae)
Meaning: Beauty army (from the Greek name
Kallistrate)

Personality: Strae is a fairly decent person...until she blows a fuse. Which, unfortunately, tends to be the case more often than not. Strae is intolerant of incompetence in any way, shape, or form, which can then lead to hours of frustration and disputes for both parties involved. She has a strong sense of personal justice and morality, which clashes with her duties far too much. This only causes more dilemmas and bouts of frustration released as rage. Thus, she always attempts to treat all at a polite distance (or more likely, with an I-hate-the-world attitude) to avoid attachment and prevent her usual reluctance to follow orders. It also helps to keep her from getting too annoyed at every single passerby. Strae is resentful towards authority figures, but would not openly defy the rules.
History: It's long and rather irrelevant. Plus she'd prefer not to disclose it.

Personality: Liet is emotional, perhaps overly so. She gets attached to things easily and tends to be highly protective of things she perceives as 'hers', which happens more often than not. This should not be seen as loyalty, because it is so not; she switches sides as often as the wind changes direction, and with about as much warning. Grudges are things that she can and will hold for a very long time; friendships are much less long-lasting and prone to dissolving without notice.
History: An Illusionary brought to Gaia under strange circumstances.

Name: Vast
Meaning: To empty; to lay waste , ravage, devastate, prey upon. (From Latin:

Primary Occupation: Floating
Personality: Vast is detached, unfeeling, uninterested, emotionless, indifferent, devoid of empathy...but somehow manages to remain cute-looking. He also lacks declarative memory, or "conscious memory," which consists of things a person knows he or she remembers (like places, phone numbers, birthdays, etc). Pretty much the only thing he can remember is his own name, and even that remains an elusive thought at times.
However, there are moments when he can act with a certain amount of "awareness" and seems to have pieces of memories, but such bursts always pass quickly and he is never able to recall them afterwards. The precise cause has yet to be determined.
History: The other Illusionary that was brought to Gaia under strange circumstances, at the same time as Liet.
