.: The Lantern :.
Newly birthed Kin faeries are far too tiny and fragile to exist out in the wilds of the island that the Kin inhabit. To protect them, beautifully gilded lanterns are created to house them, until the child is old enough to break the glass about him and fly into the world outside. The lanterns will be colored to reflect the theme of the wee Kin within.
.: The Sprite :.
Once out of their lanterns, the small sprites, as they are now called are free to explore the world and converse with others of their kind. At this stage, they stand between six inches and a foot in height. It will be quite clear now what they're markings and style will be, their individual traits now clearly defined. The Sprites can now soar for small distances, but a long flight will tire them out.
Most Sprites are altered bases (bases for each element)
.: The Faerie :.
The Sprite has now blossomed into an elegant, delicate creature. This is the final, immortal stage of the Kin's life cycle. They are considered full-fledged adults, and stand between a foot and a half and two feet tall. The Kin is now capable of long flights, traveling the width and breadth of at least half the island before becoming exhausted.

All Kin are linked to a different element. Fire, Water, etc. However, there are many elements beyond the conventional, and many sub-categories to those elements. Elemental Kin tend to band together in tribe-like groups so as to avoid as much conflict as possible. There are, however, several groups of inter-elemental kin, most notably the center of trade and politics - Syn'diiar.

A ~ Yes! Items are valued 90% of the lowest MP price, but gold is preferred.
Q ~ Are there cosplays? Can I buy one?
A ~ For customs, you can get one if the colorist approves of it! Also, some cosplays may be colored and sold in auctions or given away as part of events.
