THE RESULTS ARE IN!
Before we get to the winner, we want to say that it was incredibly difficult to pick only one winner. ALL the entries were well-written, and the responses were creative and entertaining. There was one factor we wanted to bring up, and it was here that some entries fell a
little shorter than others. As we mentioned before, this was a concept contest. While RP and writing are crucial, the conceptual Herald was more important. We wanted to see how you developed your theoretical Herald, and the ideas you put in. So when it came down to it, NONE of the entries were bad; in fact, they were all amazing. It was the knit-picking things that we had to look at, including if by reading an entry would could see the Herald formed and acting.
We do hope that everyone sticks around.... and also realize that saying that is still a blow. If we had the opportunity, time, and ability, we would love to have given everyone their Dream Heralds. The choice was incredibly difficult and all the entries were great. If is very difficult to narrow 14 entries down to 1.

Also! We wanted to mention that we won't be offering critiques for this contest. It is because everyone's entries were so good, it came down to personal preference in writing, as well as interpretation of what was written. What didn't win this time can very well end up winning next time.

And a recap.... in case you didn't really get what was happening with all the craziness above. soutou won the custom Herald with Micah; and Sirene Naiads won a regular Herald in which artist and RP manager work together to design the details (though for this one, Sirene's entry development will be taken into consideration). Both of you will need to send 15K to the mule (here: Herald) and a PM as well verifying your Herald's name, gender, sacrifice, AND sacrifice image, so we can get them certed and their journals set up.
