Welcome the Ikebukuro; the Free Collars Kingdom.
My name is Scottie, and no; not like Scottie Tissues! Here many cats from around Gaia gather trying to claim this land as their own. There are many groups that are constantly at war over Ikebokuro. Reason being is because of a old legend the the Great Wild Cat once ruled this territory and he was the Free Collar King himself. What everyone is after is his collar; which is said to reside somewhere here in Ikebokuro.
There are days when everything is great and visiting the local Manga shops is great with friends, but there are days in which it’s best to stay inside or you’re going to have to fight for your territory. Either way, at some point or another, you will be challenged for your territory by some rival cat and its group. Most of the time though you get to relax wander your territory and enjoy life.
Sadly all the cats here in Ikebokuro that you'll come across are all Strays, or Abandoned Cats. We don't really encourage the act of humans leaving us to defend for ourselves, but sometimes it can't be helped, but the mass majority of the time it can. Here new territories can be created, merged with others, alliances formed and broken. Search and rescues even a few Rogue Free Collars roam our streets, never full aligning themselves with a territory.
On these streets we thrive together, kittens are born and raised and families are created, sometimes even broken. But we all in some way hold strong, ever cat has their own view of Humans here. Some despise them, others still love them and even there are those who are neutral on the subject, it's all up to the cat here. But Welcome, welcome friend to Ikebokuro, a cat's paradise.

Okay so we were a BIT late on this but what else can you do when Spinner gets supposedly kidnapped for days at a time >__> Starting to wonder about her and these odd disappearances. Either way two events are set up and ready to be mauled to death by everyone to their content and make sure you all read carefully. Looks like Spinner is starting to get a little picky about things and wants to make sure people are paying close attention. Oh boys it's gonna be one busy month here in Ikeboukro! o.o New cats flooding in almost every day, other growing up much to the dismay of their parents, and even some new little ones to be joining us soon! I can't believe it! heart
Though many cats are still in the process of being grown Spinner said she's still gonna take up helping some other reach their maturity...she scared me a little with that because she had some scary look in her eye. Be careful around her okay? I've also heard some whispers about an event soon to come in the next month or some once things start calming down, I don't know all the details yet, I just know what I heard from Spinner talking in her sleep. Trust me, that's not something you want to experience...I'm scared for life. -shudder-
But otherwise it looks like we're gonna have a good month here in Ikebouro!!

Q: What is the Free Collars Kingdom?
A: The Free Collars Kingdom is the world in which he stray cats see. Those special breeds that have lost their homes and now prove themselves different from your ordinary stray. They make territories and battle over claims to great-en the size of their territories. But most of all, everyone is looking for Wild Cats collar which is said to lie somewhere in Ikebokuro.

Q: Can they Talk?
A: They can talk to anyone/thing but humans. Humans still see them as cats, not as anthros.

Q: Can I interact with them?
A: If the cats like humans, sure! But this is based in the real world, so no magical powers from us humans. If the cats dont want to interact, then they dont. If they do, then they do.

Q: How tall are they in their Anthro Form?
A: Click here!

Q: Can I have one for free?
A: If you prove that you deserve a free cat, yes. But if you're just here to hunt for a free cat then no.

Q: How much do they Cost?
A: Flat sale cats are 10k and the prices drops as the stage goes up. Check the Sales Info post for more information. Customs starting from the first stage will be 200k. See the Customs post on page 2 for more information.

Q: Why are the Prices so high?
A: Because it takes a lot of work to make just one cat. And really, they aren't that expensive if you think about it.

Q: What are Territories?
A: Territories are the specific areas that a cat and his/her group reside. Many cats prefer certain areas for the benefits of the area. Some cats may prefer an area near NyanMan’s mansion due to the many manga stores in the vicinity.

Q: How do I get accepted into a Territory?
A: You have to impress the leader of the group that lives in the Territory. Now how you do that is up to you. Different leaders will prefer to be pleased in different ways.

Q: Can I make my own Territory?
A: Yes. You need 5 followers plus the leader to open a new territory.

Q: Do you do Pet trades or Bribes?
A: Yes and no. PM the shop mule and ask. Not the artists.

Q: What breed of cat can I get?
A: There's a list in the guild for this. If there's a breed we missed, go ahead and ask!

Q: Can I be a Guest Artist/Colorist?
A: We're looking! Send examples to Scottie Fold and post in the main thread so we know you sent them!

Q: How much is Breeding?
A: Breeding costs about 30k, cats produce anywhere from 3 to 6 kittens. So you can either get your monies worth or a bargain. Either way you get kittens! :3

Q: Is RP required?
A: Yes, RP is required. If you dont keep up with requirements or disappear, you'll get a warning. After the warning the cat will be taken away, no questions asked. Also, your pet will NOT grow without required RP.

Q: What are the requirements?
A: Check Post 11 for the full list of what needs to be accomplished for growth and regular RP.

Q: Are they RP Intensive?
A: Yes, they are, to be blunt. The requirements aren't horrible but you must keep up with them or they wont grow, and they can get taken away.

Q: Where am I supposed to RP?
A: Informal here in the thread, formal in the guild. You can also log informal and formal RP in the guild from messengers or PM.

Q: How does breeding work?
A: You must have a couple with the required RP and age to breed. There must be proof of RP as a couple, even if it's a fling. And maybe the more RP you have, the more perks you'll have.

Q: What stage does my Free collar have to be in order to breed?
A: Novice stage and up.

Q: What do I do with my kittens?
A: Keep them or give them away. If you want them raffled off by the shop they can be given directly to the shop or a staff member for this. No profit will be gained unless permission is given back.

Q: What’s RP Exemption?
A: RL customs are RP exempt, as well as other trades if specified. There might be a fee that you can pay later on for exemption from pets being taken away, but normally if you want your pet to grow then you must RP.

Q: Wait so...how old are they?
A: Well lets see. Here is the age chart for all stages:
KITTENS: 5 - 11 CAT YEARS
NOOBS: 12 - 18 CAT YEARS
NOVICE: 18 - 26 CAT YEARS
MASTERS: 21+ CAT YEARS
Dont waver from the age chart unless you have spoken to a staff member, there are some cases that are different depending on the cat.

Q: What happens if I'm not active with my cats?
A: If you're not active, you'll get a warning. If you dont heed the warning, your pet will be taken away. No arguments, no nothing.

Q: I have more than 5 cats! Now what?
A: Stay active, make sure you dont neglect. Once your cat has reached master you wont have to worry about RP requirements anymore.

Cats that have reached master stages will not be taken away.
However, if you neglect a territory that your cat is master of, then your territory can be taken by other cats or removed.

New stages and setup

KITTENS: 5 - 11 CAT YEARS

NOOBS: 12 - 18 CAT YEARS

NOVICE: 18 - 26 CAT YEARS

MASTERS: 21+ CAT YEARS

Kittens: This stage can only be acquired through breeding. They're the 'infant' stage, and will have a collar, which means they are human owned or freshly abandoned. [Custom lines]

Free Collar Noob: This is your first stage of kitty! They are fresh out in the world, abandoned, lost or all around escaped. They still have their collar around their neck, though it's getting a little tight...shouldn't they be trying to remove it soon? Since they're new to the free world of strays, they're a little sloppy in surviving, and haven't quite found their place in life yet. They're looking for a home and a territory at this point, somewhere that's protected. Or, they might choose the rogue life. There's a lot of work to do. [Set lines]

Novice Free Collar: Your cat has now joined a territory, or established itself as a rogue. This means that it knows the ropes, and knows the secrets of the stray world. It can survive a lot easier now, and probably has some friends--and enemies--to work and deal with. Also, your cat can now find a mate! This is the breeding stage, so get those babies! [Set lines]

Master Free Collar: You cat is one of the oldest in his/her group by this point. They know their territory like the back of their paw. Battles are second nature and they know the tricks of the trade. Usually by this point though they are also starting to slow down a little. Battles and time have worn on them a bit. They prefer to relax a bit more. This stage is usually the last for most cats, though there is a 5th stage not very many cats reach. [Custom lines]

[Master stage is the final stage for most cats. Veterans are very hard to obtain.]

Veteran Free Collar: Older and very knowledgeable. These are the wisest of the cats they continue to fight even still but use techniques that don’t require too much physical strength but rather strategy. This is the most final stage a cat can reach. [Custom lines]

//Flat Sale//
Usually these will be speed sales, meaning first come first serve. But on occasion there will be prompt sales, 1 to 3 prompts will be posted 5 minutes prior to the start time of the Flatsale and time will end 30 minutes after the sale have been started. Entries posted the same minute as the end post will be accepted, anything after will be ignored. There will be other chances to win! :3 You can only purchase or win one cat per sale, it’s just to be fair to everyone else.


//Flaffle//
These are simple and are made for people who have slow dial-up so they get a chance at the cats as well. The way it’ll work is when the start time begins I will ask you to look up a picture. I could ask for one sale to look up a picture of a “Kitten in a bucket” you’ll have 30 minutes to find a picture of such and post it in the thread. Everyone who posts a picture in the 30 minutes will e put on a list and a random number will be chosen. Whoever happens to be that number is the winner. The number picking will continue to match the number of cats.


//Auction//
Very simple as well, another thread will be used for these events. A cat will be placed up for sale in this case and the highest bidder at the end of the auction gets the cat. But these cats will usually be special in some way and not be available through regular sales. There are anti-sniping rules of course for the last 10 minutes of the auction. If someone bids in the 10 minutes of the auction it will be extended another 10 minutes until the bidding stop for the 10 minutes after the last bid is posted.


//Raffle//
Similar to a Flaffle, but different. In a raffle a cat will be place up for grabs and those who wish to have a chance at the cat will buy tickets, you are not limited to how many tickets you can purchase, but tickets are 100g a piece. At the end date of the raffle no more tickets may be purchased and a random number will be drawn, the person holding the winning ticket receives the cat.

Every so often there’s a chance to get a custom Cats, you choose the breed you like the fur colors and how they’ll look in their Anthro form. Of course it will cost you and depending on the starting stage of them. The higher the stage, the lower the price. Of course Pet Trades are a possibility as well. In the case of Pet trades though can apply for RP exemption.

Of course like many other shops, I take bribes. Say you're dying to et your hands on a custom Cat and customs are closed... BRIBE ME! :3 Pretty simple really, PM the Mule with your offer, donation items are accepted as well. I can refuse any bribe I wish though, I if I really don't feel like workng on th custom I will refuse you. Don't take offense, I may just not be in the mood or I may be too busy IRL.

There are a few rules that go along with ordering a custom, please follow these rules for all of our sakes and especially Spica’s, since she does the artwork.

1. Don’t be overly detailed, intricate tattoos, itty bitty designs on clothing, massive jewelry…etc. We don’t want to kill the art trying to please you. We like detail, just not too much.
2. Read through all of the Breed info, if we feel you haven’t read the breed info post we will reject you request. You can’t order a tan and black Havana Brown, they we specially breed to be a fully brown colored cat with the trademarks of a Siamese.
3. Only order when Customs are open, if the slots say closed, well then they are closed. Unless you plan to try and bribe Spica.
4. When ordering a Custom PM SCOTTIE!! If it’s sent to Spica or any other staff you will be grey listed for a month and the custom rejected.
5. Please fill out the form entirely, if you’d like to send reference pictures to specify fur design they please do so, we want to fulfill what you want to the best we can.

Love is in the air when the full moon arises! Well not every full moon. On some full moons breeding slots will be opened and couple can claim these slots. In such they can produce kittens, but for some reason every litter that is produced humans seem to find them when their parents are away looking for food. They are tamed and collared and strangely enough as quickly as they disappear, they reappear again, abandoned. This has never truly made much sense but it’s cycle that all the cats are aware of. Sometimes kittens won’t return, but usually all or most of them do.

Breeding costs 30k, reason being is because cats usually produce anywhere from 3 to 6 kittens. In rare cases more kittens are produced but it’s very uncommon.

Kittens can be kept, given to friends, or given to the shop with no profit involved unless the staff is spoken to first.

Who can breed?
Male x Female - Normal breeding, birds and the bees, whoo!
Male x Male - They must have a surrogate. Which means your same-sex couple needs to find a female willing to carry the two boys' babies for them.
Female x Female - You need to find a male willing to impregnate one of them! One or both. [Even if they are both pregnant you will still only get between 3-6 kittens]

Remember, only Novice stage and up can breed.

RP requirements must be met, if now your cat will not grow to the next stage. Staff will manage and account what RP is done in the thread and in the Guild. If you wish to create an RP log or a Journal you are free to do so in the correct subforum of the Guild.

All growths depend on if growth slots are open or not.

You must complete these requirements, or more, before they can grow, no exceptions. You can substitute one RP[say a battle] for another RP[for a formal]. Double check with staff.

15 posts are a completed formal.
20 posts are a completed informal.
Battles must have an end to the RP, even if you're over 15 posts.

Collared:
- 3 Formal RP
- 4 Informal RP
- 1 Small story telling how the Cat removes the collar[With or without another cat]
- Min. 1-2 month time span

Free Collar Noob:
- 5 Formal RP
- 5 Informal RP
- 1+ RP of territory RP, or going rogue.
- Min. 2-3 month time span

Novice Free Collar:
- 6 Formal RP
- 5 Informal RP
- 3+ Battles
- Min. 3-5 month time span

Master Free Collar:
- 10+ Formal RP
- 5+ Informal RP
- 5+ Battles
