General Rules:

- Do not, under any circumstance, steal/alter/claim any of the images. The same goes for the original Efui design and concept.
- Do not PM us in regards to getting a (free) Efui.
- Keep in mind the golden rule: treat others as you, yourself, would like to be treated in return; fighting/arguing/harrassing of others in the thread will not be tolerated.
- No PG 13+ stuff please
- Please do not overtly advertise your shop with a link and etc.
- No chatspeaking please
- Co-owning is allowed, unless stated otherwise.
- Posting/RPing is not mandatory, although it is encouraged and required if owners wish their Efui to be given breeding rights/rank ups/special bonuses
- Please have patience when waiting for your Efui to grow
- Direct linking is allowed, until the Efui is an adult. Then, please make certain to save and upload the image(s) to your own server!

Flatsale Rules

-Flatsales will be run differently depending on Bulls' mood
- One Efui per person, per every flatsale. The number of efui a person can own are unlimited, but please consider others who dont have them if you already have one and are attempting for an fs.
- Purchasing an Efui for someone else (ie. friend) is allowed, although in doing so the user forfeits one of his or her chances at getting one via flatsale.
- Make certain to clearly state which Efui you're trying for! In other words, do not go 'I want the one on the left!' or 'I want the (fe)male!' . . . or anything else just as vague. Remember, we are not psychic.
- DO NOT EDIT YOUR REQUEST POST! This is considered cheating, and if someone is caught doing so, he or she will be blacklisted. No ifs, ands or buts.
- Do not send trades until the final winners are announced.

F.A.Qs

I have an Efui from the shop WAY back then? Can I get them on the new lineart and cert?
- Sure, simply PM Efui with it's image and it'll be updated. Only exception to this is old cosplays. Sorry!

Zomg ewww twins can love each other?!
- 'Twin' efui simply mean, that there are two efui on one cert. Unless SPECIFIED, they do not come from the same parents/wherever Efui come from, and are NOT related. Thus, 'twins' can also mean two mated efui who just happen to share the same cert.

I dont get the pendant thing...
- Pendants add 'edits' to your Efui. You can customise your Efui that way. Some pendants will even change your efui, reading the info about how pendants work is recommended if you want to make your Efui look spiff.

How much are Efui?
- Efui can only be purchased during flatsales, auction/event threads, customs and raffles. Those will be held.. well when I say so. They cant just be purchased out of the blue (unless you're willing to attempt a bribe...)

Then how else can I get one?
- I will occassionally hold special events. You can tell cause I'll announce "I'll be holding a special event" soon, or I do a special event every 100 pages or so. I also like pet trades, will sometimes do them for nice art, and if you're a friend XP

Who is that on the mule?
- That would be me (Bulls) most of the time.

Why is it taking so long to get my custom Efui?
- Because the staff have lives, and sometimes get caught up with other things. Fear not, all work will be completed ASAP.

- I deeply apologize that you did not enjoy a particular event, but I do my best to make things fair for all. Sulking about how unfair you think an event was is not appreciated, and I kindly ask that you don't muck up the thread with complaints. Thanks!

[Efui]

In a kingdom far away, the Efui thrived together, communicating and living in harmony with each other. They had their own language, clans, traditions and stories passed down from generation, as they lived peacefully in their continents, floating islands in the sky connected by large bridges that lead to the center continent, the tree of life.

It was one day that the Efui encountered stranged visitors on the island: they called themselves 'Gaians'. The humans began to keep the Efui as pets. The pride and the culture of the Efuis were lost; they were stripped of their beauty and unique colours as the Gaians sought to make them look the same, like manufactured toys. Eventually, the diversity of the Efui dwindled, and the only efui that remained were ones that lived in the Tree of Life. Efui from other continents became unheard of, and eventually disappeared altogether.

With great difficulty, and a lot of funding, a Gaian researcher and his crew finally decided to take charge. In order to preserve the Efui and return them to their former freedom, they forced the Gaians off the islands. Instead of keeping an Efui as a pet, the Gaians could instead, sponsor the Efui; that is, to fund an Efui and watch them grow in their natural habitat. As for their loss of colours, the researchers found a way to use pendants to help restore Efui's to their original clan colours and repopulate the empty continents around the Tree of Life.

Because Efui were originally very versatile, when they grow up, they may change colours, grow wings, or change form entirely, depending on the pendant they use. Newborn Efui are packed in bags for convenience sake, and take a couple of weeks to grow, in which they reach their child form. Colouration of an Efui (from the pendant) does not develop until they are at the adult stage. Sometimes, efui may advance beyond the adult stage... but exactly how is still a question.











'Anthro' Efui:

These Efui want to be like their owners to the point where they have started walking on two feet! Normally they enjoy wearing strange garb; it is quite rare to see an Efui of this type.






















Ruffled-Mane Efui:

A sub-breed of the original Efui, these efui only come in two stages (after the egg stage). They're quite special, though, and mostly seen during seasonal events - keep an eye out for these! **

Mini Efui
Efui specifically bred to be.. well.. short and small. These efui only come in two stages as well; they're only half the size of a normal efui! **

















Eteralia


Eteralia are the sacred deities that watch over the Tree of Life. They are considered 'gods/goddesses', but prefer to have a less active role; they simply watch over the Efui, attempting to restore harmony onto the floating islands. Eteralia all have unique looks depending on their element (fire, water, lightning) etc, and they are deities that are based solely on the natural environment that surrounds and encompasses the Tree of Life.

Efui Ranking:
- Originally ranks were to denotate what Efui could wear what pendant, but Zoo soon discovered that all Efui can wear ANY type of pendant.
- Ranking is now used to denotate where an Efui stands in their clan.

Rank E Efui are the lowest of the clan, the newborns born into the clans
Rank D Efui are the children of the clans, growing up into adulthood
Rank C Efui are the scavengers of the Efuis, the Efui that generally scout and forage for food. They take orders from the Efui above them
Rank B Efui are the potential leaders: they are smarter and therefore can make decisions for other clan members.
Rank A Efui are efui born with a special destiny.

**Ranks will automatically go by growing, and sometimes by thread participation.

Roleplaying and Efui Clans:

Efui live on a large floating island named The Tree of Life (because the island itself resembles a tree, each 'branch' a seperate clan division). Certain 'branches' of the island are very extreme and unique in climate, some sustain efui that only live there due to special abilites, others because of territorial issues.

Roleplaying is NOT MANDATORY but is encouraged!

- Your efui may be one of FIVE clans (currently existing) depending on what pendants they chose! Please check above post for more information on pendants.
- Their clans will determine which other efui they interact with and how they grow up.
- Efui are able to communicate with each other, though certain clans may disagree with other clans
- As a general rule, efui of certain clans normally just stick with each other.

What is a Familiar?



A 'familiar' is a creature that inhabits or co-exists in the Tree of Life. There are many small species, some are friendly and others less so, and some more elusive than others. They have also grown to adapt to the tropical environment.


Here is a breakdown:

WS - The 'Water Serpent' is a creature swims and glides through the streams and lakes with its large fins. It has a very elegent stature, but be warned, this creature is anything but friendly.

M-D - The 'Mini-Dino' resembles a large reptile with overly large forelegs. This creature spends a lot of time sleeping out in the shade, but has an aggressive personality.

OT - The 'Otter-Type' is the most friendly of the familiars; it likes to hang around with other Efui, and can often be seen jumping along the riverbanks. It can fan its tail out, or leave it closed to swim faster in the water.

PP - The 'Poisonous Porcupine' doesn't have overly visible quills, but when it gets angry, it fires pins hiding under its thick fur at its foes, making it a rather dangerous opponent.

TB - The 'Tropical Bird' likes to show off its brighly coloured plumage, but its a vain little creature, and spends most of its time preening. Dont touch its feathers - it'll get angry!

Flatsales:
Flatsales can be held at any time, and WILL be announced beforehand. There will be around four to six pets per sale.

Unless stated otherwise, all sales will follow the given flatsale rules.

Flatsale Efui are priced by what stage they are at at time of sale, and are as follows:
Bag stage - 2k (2,000g)
Child stage - 1k (1,000g)
Adult stage - 500g

Special Offer!

So Bulls needs a way to get a few letters every month XD...
If you're willing to pay the current month's letter, I'll do a semi-custom Efui for you :3 You get to pick gender, a few colors (1-3), and a word to influence the design if you so wish (stripes, stars, etc).
You may get pendants for these, but you'd have to buy them separate.
They'll grow from bag to adult.

If you're willing to pay two letters...I'll do a breeding for you ninja

These slots will -always- be open, unless I need to close them for some reason. If you'd like one just send a trade and info to the mule. If it's a semi-custom you need to specify name, gender, colors, a design word (if you wish), and any pendants you'd like (please keep in mind you have to pay the shop price for any pendants). If it's a breeding just send me the images of the parents :3

For those who want a SPECIAL type of Efui, one that even the predesigned pendants cant match. They are born in with the colour/changes, instead of having to use a pendant to get them.

Cosplay/major edit anthro efui are also available. They only come in the rank 'Cosplay/Anthro' (and only have one form)

The last option is for insane people who want major edit/cosplay Efui with original lineart. Check below for details.

An extra little note, Seraphs and Youkai are -not- available through customs or pendant choices. They are available at colorist's discretion, though events and the like. If you -really- want a custom one you'll have to wait for an event for one or attempt to bribe.

Breeding slots are closed!



Efuis may choose to lifemate. When they do, they entertwine their tails, the 'mother' will use their long tail as a 'lightning rod' of sorts to duplicate the father's gene patterns into their body. At that time, the mother might temporarily take up the markings and colours of the father as the mother's body mixes up both genes to form within them a new life.

The mother efui will bear the children for a couple of weeks before the baby efui cubs are born. Usually a litter of 2-5 babies are born, sometimes the newborns not only carry their parents' colours, but also their pendant colours.

Up to three efui may lifemate, and both genders are equally likely to become mothers. There have been incidences where, in a male-female lifebonding, the male efui is the mother! (but we assure you this is quite rare.. really).


Requirements to get a breeding slot (any of these):

- The only real requirement to get a breeding slot is to have adult Efui, as children and bags obviously cannot breed.
- If you provide proof of RP, you may get extra bags ;D

Rules of fact:

- Breeding costs 4k. How the owners split the price is up to them.
- Anthro/anthro cosplay/any other subspecies including Eteralia Efui may only breed with their own subspecies. Makes sense no?
- Dragon, mutant, unicorn, and kappa (any of the special pendant efui) may breed with normal efui... the children just might inherit the special pendant traits.
- If your efui breeds, you may choose to give away the pets, keep them, or raffle them/event them off. Please do not sell them without the shop's permission.
- An Efui may only breed with one other Efui. Please dont pimp your Efui out to multiple Efui in a single breeding session.

Bull's Corner

Puddles xx_Bullseye_xx is the current owner of Efui. Rising through the ranks from certist, to co-owner, to sole owner, she's been around for a while. Owning Efui is a joy to her, and she hopes to continue the success of the shop.

Moving along, Bulls enjoys Sprite and cookies, and has what could be considered an unhealthy obsession with Bullseye and Demyx. Because of this, she also has an obsession with pets based on them, or featuring targets, music notes, or water as the main theme. Yay.

Give me the cookies, and no one gets hurt o___o you know you want to give your cookies to IX...
