Foals

Unicorn foals do not show horns so actually look like regular horses. Pegasus foals have small wings and this is enough to allow them a few hours of flying time if they stay on the wind currents. Some foals have strong enough wings to make a flight over the towns of Gaia while others will only be able to fly around their valley home.

Yearlings
Teenagers are more sure of themselves and have developed a mind of their own. Their wings are stronger and they are able to stay in the air for longer periods of time. Unicorn horns are showing now and the unicorn has a fair idea of what it's own power is. (more info on powers etc coming later, most is just weak healing of specific things *poison, broken skin etc* though)
While this can be an awkard time for some, for others, it is the coming out of natural charm. This is not when they are looking to become lifemated to a particular unisus, however, if one catches their eyes, they may persue. (Think of it like casual boyfriend/girlfriend type thing)

Adults
Adults are more used to their bodies and carry it with grace, although their may be some clutzes. Free to do what they like, some choose to look more closer at the watchers and can come into contact with them. Others choose to keep their distance, or may not even be aware of the humans.
Very few unisi grow further than this stage and it is a time when they are likely to think about having young of their own with the right mate. They may not feel the need to lifemate to another just for the sake of having young, but the ones that do, find that sharing the life-giving experiance allows them the energy to try for more young faster than those without lifemates.
Others will strive to become elders. But will they succeed?

Elders
Elders are the wisest of the unisi and many of the other unisi look up to them as leaders. As such, they may choose to lead a herd or form one if they feel the need.If they have reached elder status while in a herd, they may be invited by the current herd elder to be a second leader to help with the running and protection of the herd.
Elders have earned their status by a series of small tasks in their adult life and it is only by overcoming these tasks can they prove that they are worthy of the honor.

Pegasus

Singular: Pegasus move it along a bitPlural: Pegasi

Winged unisus with the power of flight.

"Angelic" winged pegasi are the most common form of pegasi. Fully capable of flight











"Demon" winged pegasi are rarer, usually making their appearance more common around the time that Gaian's know as Halloween. Usually mean in temperament but there have been exceptions to this

"Fairy" winged pegasi are usually the smaller of the winged horses and as a result can fly faster than the others. Small of stature and big in heart.






Unicorn

The gentle healers...

Unicorns with the straightest horn are the more common unicorns found. their horns are sually more suited to healing wounds and fractures
They say that if a demonic pegasus breeds with a unicorn, there is a chance of any unicorn or unisus offspring having the curved horn. However, their temperament is not always as mean as their horn looks

The swirled horn that sits on a unicorn is only slightly less rare than the curved horn. Their horns are usually more suited to healing poisoning and fevers

All unicorns in general have weak healing powers in their horn. Whether this healing is more suited to healing poisons, broken skin, broken bones or anything else can vary from unicorn to unicorn. No unicorn is known to be able to heal multiple different types of wounds.
Demonic Unicorns (curved horn) have the ability of causing injuries and poisoning

Unisus
Singular: Unisus move it along a bit Plural:Unisi
Unisi are the half-breeds. Only appearing if a pegasus and a unicorn breed, and even then it's rare. There is only a one in eight chance of a breeding producing a unisus. Unisus horn and wing types are determined by its parents.
Their healing powers are weaker than a full unicorns and their wings dont seem to be as strong as a pegasus but most overcome these with their fierce determination to succeed in anything they do.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE ELDER


Things to know:

* Max number of unisus allowed before no more can be allowed to join is 15. If a female in your herd has babies, and it goes over the maximum number, the young have the choice to leave the herd if they wish once they become adults.

*To be able to allow more into herd, must have 1 elder per 15 members.

*Elders cannot join herds.

*Cannot leave herd unless creating a new one or if your unisus was the result of a breeding taking the herd over maximum allowed.

*When adding another unisus to the herd, both watchers must PM -shopmule-unisus to let staff know.

*Herd rankings are decided on by head elder *if more than one* and are not placed on certs as these can be changed really easily as mothers become patrols, carers become shamans etc. We suggest keeping a thread in your forum to keep track of your herd ranks

*Each herd gets their own forum in the guild. We suggest making a mule if you intend on having more than one elder so that main posts can be updated as needed.

*Breedings are usually done in own herd. However with permission from elders, can breed between herds/out of herd with nonherd unisus.

Why have a herd?

*Having a herd may come in handy with the unspoken metaplot.

*It also allows for a higher chance of unisus half breeds to occur in breedings. (1 in 4 chance instead of 1 in 8 )

General Breeding:
To breed with another unisi, you need to have 4 RPs per breeding
You can only breed the same pair twice without lifemating.

Breedings Between Lifemates:.
To become lifemates, you need to have 5 PRPs. This also allows you your first breeding.
For every breeding you wish to have after that, you need at least 2 more PRPs.
There is currently no limit to how often a lifemated pair can breed

Little details:
Two unisus being watched by the same gaian can breed unless they're related. (aka two of your own unisus can breed)
Breeding costs 1 current MC per mate and can give between 2 and 4 foals.
Breedings will be able to be bribed. As it would be a bribe, there is no price on this. However, for the right price, you can choose the amount of foals you want and the gender ratio for them (eg. 4 foals, 3 males) More info in customs thread.
Regular breedings are done via free raffle in the guild when colorists feel they have time.
Breeding a pegasus to a unicorn has a 1 in 8 chance of creating a unisus
All die rolling will be happening in crew forum so that the outcome is a surprise for the owners.

Journal Points are what you earn every time you RP or write a journal entry.
Each journal entry is worth 1JP and every RP (where you make at least 15 posts) is worth 3JP
Saving up your JP gives you rewards. However, it only counts for the unisus it is created in. So no using 3 JP from one unisus and 3 from another to get one to grow faster. (or 10 from one and 5 from another to get a free breeding)

6JP = 1 faster growing from either foal to teen or teen to adult
15JP = either a RP-free breeding (a breeding where you don't have to RP) or a payment free breeding for that unisus only, not its mate (so 1mc for the breeding instead of 2).

350JP = Elder Stage. This is a total amount, no matter where you've used previous points.

More point rewards will be added in time
