Pirago had been avoiding his mother by roaming the other side of the meadows. However, he was tired and slowly he walked back towards the caverns. His tail was dragging behind him, with little energy to keep it up with defiance. His head was hung low as a sign of his weariness and also shame. He didn't catch dinner that night. He stopped outside the caverns to sniff the air to make sure a certain painted equine banthi wasn't around.

Tokala was roaming around, a rabbit in her jaws; she was headed home with the catch. It hadn't been hard to catch; the animal was wounded and appeared to be suffering so she helped it out. She wasn't sure what she was going to do with it, there was bound to be someone hungry back in the caves.

Picking up a familiar scent, she kicked it up, trotting towards its source. Even with a mouth full of rabbit, her lips were drawn up in a smile, golden eyes glittering. There had been something she had wanted to do so badly since she came up with the trick, and here was the male to make it possible. So long as she wasn't so far out of her close friends' lives.

Calling out, so glad banthi didn't need their mouths to speak since hers was full, she addressed her spotty butted friend, "Pira! How goes it, long time no see!" Slowing down to a prancing walk, she got herself to within three feet of the male before stopping, her tail swishing happily behind her.

Pirago turned towards the voice and blinked a few times. "Tokala? He questioned before smiling and his voice got a little louder this time. "Tal! How have you been! Back from a successful hunt I see?" His tail wagged happily. He got up to go approach her and sniffed at the air. "Nice catch." The mustang was FAR too proud to admit he was hungry.

Intellectual Mage

Tal was delighted to see her friend, and his interest in her catch. If he wanted it, the it would be a good banthi to give it to. Laying down the bunny between them, she nosed the wound on its foot that looked like the bunny had its leg caught and had to make a very painful choice to get out. "It was hurt, looked like it was in a lot of pain so I ended it, but I have already eaten. The meal shouldn't go to waste."

Looking back up to Pira, she told him, "I have been doing well, how have you?" Ears up, she was eager to hear how he was doing. Along with that, she was eager for trying her paw on a family game. "The caverns seem alive again, I have seen so many old faces, like your mother and Al." The last name made her happier then anything else, sure she had her father and brothers back, but that sort of paled to the banthi she loved with all her heart. "One banthi I haven't seen and miss so much is my jie-jie, have you seen Jiang?" Waiting for his responce, she sat down, smiling happily.

"Always so kind, even to the prey. Though I wonder how it got hurt." Pirago smiled in gratitude as he saw her push the meal over to him and mention of it not going to waste. "Thanks Tal. I owe you a rabbit next hunt I go on that succeeds." He leaned down, listening to her talk, but he was hungry and bit into the rabbit with such an appetite that it wasn't long before he was more then a quarter way through it the time she had asked him about Jiang. "I am well. Glad to see you are too and that you're happy. I have run into Jiang out in the meadows. You should try to look for her there." He gave a nod to her. He then stared at her curiously. "What have you been up to? And you saw my mom...." A hint of fear glimmered in his eyes. "Did she say anything to you?"

Intellectual Mage

Tal smiled and nodded, "You know me," kind was one of her traits, some of her others weren't as apparent. Nodding she told him, "Alright, catch me a fluffy one." He'd catch her one for her; she had faith in his ability as a hunter. As she watched him devour the meal, she couldn't help but chuckle, he was even hungrier then she had thought. Had she known, she would have given over the meal even if she wanted it.

Smiling, very glad that Jiang was around, "I will try to find her." She did very much want to find the blue dragon whom was a sister to her; however, she wanted to Pira to find her first. Keeping up the conversation, the raccoon fox commented, "I have been around, going out a lot more then I used to, hunting for new friends." Thinking back to the conversation with Ray, she answered, "Beyond normal pleasantries and catching up, I don't recall anything that really stands out." Sure of it, she nodded and spoke again, "Pira, I have been learning Chinese, because Jiang uses it. Jie-jie means sister, and I found one that would be perfect for you to use. I think it'd impress her if we tried one she hasn't used yet. Nan pun yau, it means I am your close friend." She nodded, confident in what she said, even if she knew it was far off. What Nan pun yau really meant was boyfriend.

The coonfox was so amused by the idea; pranking her one friend into telling her other friend that he was her boyfriend. It would be priceless, and she could easily hide behind being wrong. She meant no harm, but did think the two would make a great couple.

ooc: got Nan pun yau from a fortune cookie, it on the back where it teaches words in chinese.

Alright, Leena, I am going to bed, g'night!
