Plot

»» As far as anyone could remember the world of Eden had been a peaceful place.
There were no wars or times of sickness. But as the sun rose into the air, a time
of pain for the world began. It was a dawn of a new day, but no one had expected
what was to come. From beneath the ground in the quiet city of Ekliptica, pillars
of darkness shot upward. The tall, ominous shadows swayed from side to side.
Suddenly the pillars burst in every direction, and in their place was a flock of birds.
Twisting and twirling in the air, the birds seemed as mysterious as the pillars. Their
bodies were covered in shadows. As quickly as it had appeared, the ominous
scene had vanished. The birds had soared away in the sky, heading to the west of
Ekliptica. Crossing the Onaro River, the dark flock of shadows dived towards the
forest. The lively forest, filled with trees and plants had quickly been subject to
destruction. The once beautiful trees and plants became shriveled and small, and it
was as if the world had been drained of its life. A virus. An infection. The dark
shadows had not been a gift to this world, but a curse. But what did they want?

Beautiful flowers and colorful plants decorated Ekoni Village. It was that time of year
that the growth of plants was celebrated and the villages annual Flower Fest was
underway. Unaware of the oncoming darkness, the villages festival continued. The
picking of flowers and listening to cheerful music was quickly disturbed by the dark
flock of birds. Flying overhead of the village, the flowers and vines began to wither.
Now realizing that these birds hadn't come in peace, everyone began to run away.
Chaos was in the air as the flocks dived into the village streets, as if they were
looking for something. Ekoni's Flower Fest had been ruined.

As the darkness begins to infect the world of Eden, those who can help step forward
to protect the world from destruction. Though they do not realize their true powers just
yet, they begin a quest to defeat the darkness and purify the world from its shadows.
Those with the ability to attack can destroy the onward forces of the darkness, while
those with the power to defend can stop the darkness from destroying and growing. It is,
however, only those with the power of purification and the powers of the Tree of Eden that
can stop the raid of darkness. As their journey goes on, their once normal lives will change
into those of adventure and wonder. And it is up to them to stop the evil in its path, and to
purify what is left.

Subplot

»» As the annual Flower Fest is going on, the raid of darkness begins. It is in
Ekoni Village that our young protagonists will begin. At first enjoying the village, their
day will suddenly be overcome by fear as the darkness begins to hover over them. The
shadows are after the only thing that can stop them, the purifiers. It's up to you to learn
your powers and protect the purifiers.

Eden's imagination lets you explore a world full of wonder while roleplaying, however
guidelines are an important part to any roleplay. The Terms of Service (ToS) must be
followed, and considered, at all times. Eden allows you to be free in a mythical world,
but it also expects you to make the right choices. Cybering and trolling will lead you in
a place far from Eden, and from Gaia. As with the ToS, Eden follows the guidelines of
being PG-13. Following these rules and regulations will leave you with the rewards of
continuing your wondrous adventures in the magnificent world of Eden. With such
versatility, also comes specifications. Swearing isn't favored in this roleplay, no matter
how much people do it. Even with these guard rails, feel free to let your imagination run
wild. Enjoy Eden while still roleplaying underneath the belt of its rules.

»» L i t e r a c y
With such an imaginative world there's a lot to write about. The inhabitants of the land.
The flourishing cities and peaceful towns. There isn't a thing in the world that would make
your post lack in imagination, as well as words. Keeping your posting size large is a key
role to this roleplay. Nothing should be under 3 to 4 large paragraphs. Eden offers so much
for you to write about, so keep your post sizes up. Literacy also has another definition.
The grammar and punctuation you use can effect your posting. All sentences should
end in punctuation, and no matter how long your post is, text talk is prohibited.

The Out of Character (OoC) thread is somewhat of a gift to everyone that is in the Eden
world. Use this gift to your advantage and take the time to acknowledge the other people
that are in the roleplay. The OoC thread is for everyone to really bond together. The roleplay
itself is a fun and adventurous place, however getting into the OoC thread can give you new
outlooks on the people you are roleplaying with. Bonding is one of the many advantages to
OoC. Idea making is another. If anything crosses your mind concerning the roleplay, drop it
on in the OoC so Eden can become even greater.

»» F o r m a t s
Your posting style should be filled with just as much uniqueness and beauty as Eden's world.
Gaia is filled with lavishing characters and colors to make up your posting style, which gives
you limitless abilities for forming your posting styles. The color and size of your text matters
beyond what you think. Extremely light, or bright, colors are hard for the eye to see, so use
your judgement for the better. If something even seems a little difficult to see, try to avoid it.
The sizing for your font in your posting style is somewhat strict. For the actual body of your
paragraph, the font size needs to be in the range of 9 to 11.

»» C h a r a c t e r s
Eden has a wide array of cultures and people, leaving you open to pick an original character.
With the diversity there is, Eden pushes your creativity to make a character that is unique to
this world and yourself. Different personalities are what make up the world as it is and Eden
hopes to help you form an imagination beyond life within you. Freedom does have its rules
however. All pictures should be appropriate, and anything that isn't will be reported. Eden does
have an age limit. Characters must be between the ages of 13 and 17. To some of you it may
be a set back, however there's a clear view as to why the age limits are there.

Eden is based around the real world, so the pictures you use should be of real people. This
may be new to some of you, and for others not. Even though Eden is a completely different
world, famous artists, singers, authors, actors, and so on, are not accepted. Along with the
personality of your character, the picture you use should be just as unique.

The last major rule for the people of Eden is the number of characters one can play. Each
person has the limit of one character, for obvious reasons. Eden offers your characters 3
different choices. There are the Attackers, Defenders, and Purifiers. The Attackers of Eden
are furious fighters that attack the ruthless shadow monsters that are disturbing the world.
The main job of the Defenders are to protect the Purifiers from the shadows that are infecting
their surroundings. The Purifiers are the last hope for Eden, and can cure the world of its
viruses. Though there are only 3 choices, Eden offers diverse ways to be each option.
Purifiers are the rarest of these, so therefore there are only a limited amount of them.

»» A c t i v i t y
Just like any other world, Eden is constantly moving forward in time. This itself requires time
from everyone that is in the roleplay. Though that is a key factor, it is not the only thing that
requires you to be online a lot. Everyone in the roleplay counts on each other to post. A lack
of posts can lead to a sad ending. Posts from everyone should be near daily to keep the world
of Eden running. With a world to discover and the action within the roleplay itself Eden is always
leading in a different direction of adventure and action. If you won't be on Gaia for any reason,
make sure to update everyone in the roleplay by posting in the OoC about your absence.
Activity is what keeps Eden running, so it's up to you to run this roleplay. One thing you
should know before joining the roleplay is, you will not drop out of this roleplay. If you know
there's something really big coming up that you can't handle doing both, take that into
consideration. Just dropping characters leaves the roleplay with a loss, and can be confusing
at times.

Cities and Towns of Eden

»» E k o n ix V i l l a g e ~
The village of Ekoni is home to many. A river calmly flows through its center and offers
a great deal of water supply. The attraction that several have come to this village for,
however, is Ekoni's annual Flower Fest. Every year there is a certain time when the
plants begin to grow. It is the calm village of Ekoni that receives the true beauty within
this time. Flowers are decorated on buildings and in planters. It is a time of happiness
and fun for everyone.

Tanoma is located close to the capital of the region. Although it is larger than other
cities, there isn't much excitement around town. The only thing interesting enough to
keep your attention is the large museum in the center of the city. It contains artifacts
and items from around the region and is a place of great knowledge.

»» S e r e n i u mx C i t y
Covered in snow and surrounded by mountains, Serenium is a secluded city. Although
it is away from the other cities and villages of its region, it is well known. Dragons and
Griffins play a key role in Serenium, as they help maneuver large and heavy objects.
Without them it is impossible to enter the city. Alongside its technology, Serenium is
known for crystallizing rocks from around the world, as well as some of its scientific
studies.

»» A l a d i ax C i t y
Fixed at the edge of a desert land, Aladia has quick access to the rich waters of the
Eriyon Ocean. The city is often covered in dust clouds, which makes it appear dirty.
Interesting creatures are often seen on the borders of the city. Spygers are among
these beasts. Even with its desert clouds, people from far and wide come to Aladia
to seek its knowledge filled library. The building stands tall and proud in the center
of the city to show its magnificence to all.

»» I p i t r i u sx C i t y
This desert city is isolated from the other cities and villages in the region. It's a quiet
and darker place, although there are several inhabitants in and around it. Like its
counter-desert, Spygers are a common site around the city, however they seem to
appear more often in this northern desert. Even with it being a quiet and isolated city
it is one of the major producers of weapons for its region.

»» I r m a n i ax V i l l a g e
One of the most unique locations within the world of Eden. Located on the side of a cliff,
the city is in a large circle. On two sides waterfalls drain out past the cliffs and end up in
a small pond below them. This is also one of the only locations that can lead to the great
underground city of Atifay. Getting to this village itself is somewhat of a challenge due to
the fact that the water creatures are the only way in or out, besides flying.

»» E p h o n i xx C i t y
The most advanced city within its region is known as Ephonix City. Technology in Ephonix
helps with the creation of new inventions. These inventions are transported all over the
region. Creatures are some of the greatest users of these inventions as they wear saddles
and carry loads of items with carrying devices. Without Ephonix the world of Eden would
be one step less than it is today.

Unlike several of the other cities within Eden's world, Atifay's location is hidden from bird's
eye view, as it is located underground. Because of the fact that it lays beneath the surface,
it is rich with minerals. Atifay is sometimes also known as the Mineral City. The thought of
being underground doesn't stop its citizens from living there, however. As with its minerals,
it is rich with people and creatures. The great power of the well known Battrigons help to
carry and load the heavy weight from these crystals.

»» L a v i n c i ax C i t y
The pride of the region stands within its capital, Lavincia. Being the largest city in the region,
Lavincia has a lot to hold up to, and it pulls through greatly. The colors of the rooftops and
trees throughout the city gives it a cheerful appearance, and the magnificent waterways and
falls give it a touch of beauty. To many, Lavincia is a place of wonder and hope, and that is
why many from far and wide come to visit its streets. As if it couldn't become greater, Lavincia
is known for having a festival throughout the whole town for days on end. It is a time of
happiness for the citizens of Lavincia, as well as others from surrounding cities and towns.
Some of the greatest creatures also dwell within Lavincia. The Drakei and Spearice are
some of the most common, however Wolferns and Rinders are also seen. The buildings and
structures within the barriers of Lavincia are just waiting to be discovered.

»» K a r o n ax T o w n
The smallest of the villages within the world of Eden is found near the waterfall village of
Irmania and the mountainous city of Serenium. As with several of the other cities within its
region, it is overlooked. Even being small doesn't stop it from being unimportant. In truth it
has a very important job. It is the market village. People from all cities and villages come
here to trade and to sell, and that's what makes Karona so popular, even with its tiny
houses and shacks.

»» N o k a d a mx C i t y
The floating city of Nokadam is unique in which it has access to all of the water creatures
within Eden's world. Even with it being in the water, Nokadam is solitary. The technologies
of Nokadam allow it to stay where it is, while the ocean waves crash around it. Though it's
in the water, Nokadam has several plants and trees decorated throughout the city.
Nokadam is often considered a high-tec laboratory for experiments and investigations
from around the world.

»» I k l i p t i c ax C i t y
Ikliptica is a large city decorated with interesting and unique buildings. Besides the
fascinating surroundings from the forest, desert, and Onaro River, the only interest lies
within the nearby Terrish Fields. The rich supply of water from the river makes them
one of the most reliable cities with natural resources. Even with Ekliptica being such a
quiet and calm city, some say it holds a dark secret that could change the world of
Eden forever.

»» E q u i v i ax T o w n
Like Nokadam it is surrounded by water. The only difference, however, is that Equivia is
an island. It was said that Equivia was formed hundreds of years ago when a mountain
was pushed upwards from underneath the ocean floor. Though it isn't located on the
mainland, Equivia handles itself. The roads and pathways are filled with people, and the
buildings dotted up the side of the mountain give it a unique look. Overall Equivia is one
of the most fascinating places within Eden's world, and the marvelous Drakei give it a
mythical touch.

»» O r i v i ax T o w n
A town built on trees. That is what Orivia is. Deep within the forest is the marvelous town,
Orivia. It is somewhat small, but large in its efforts to support themselves and others. A
quick supply from the Ekoni River allows them to live sweetly in the forest. Creatures here
are found often. Among these are the Rinders and the Mintrikies.

Located on the west side of the region. It outlooks the floating city of Nokadam.

»» O d a s h a x W a t e r f a l l s
The rushing falls of Odasha fall into the village of Irmania. After their journey, they fill into
a pond at the bottom of the village.

»» E k o n ix R i v e r
An interesting river as it runs through the forest and is the very river that creates the
Odasha Waterfalls. It also comes together with the Onaro River at a point in the forest.

»» O n a r ox R i v e r
The barrier between the grassland cities and forest from the desert lands of Aladia. At
one point it becomes the Ekoni River.

»» A n d a n ax B e a c h
A beautiful sight to see. The Andana beach is on the edge of the Aladia Desert, as well
as the magnificent Terrish fields. As if that isn't enough, Equivia is just in sight from the
beach.

»» E r i y o nx O c e a n
The magnificent ocean that covers the world. It's filled with life and is the greatest source
of water the people of Eden have.

»» T e r r i s hx F i e l d s
The rock pillars covered in greenery are hard to miss. They stand tall, separating the two
desert cities of Aladia and Ipitrius. Though there are myths about how these great pillars
came to be, no one knows the truth of how they formed.

»» T h ex T r e ex o fx E d e n
Told only in myths, the Tree of Eden is a sacred place. Never before has it been seen by
human eyes. As time goes on, however, the time in which the Tree of Eden shows itself,
gets nearer.

Creatures of Eden

»» A q s u i d
One of the many water creatures of Eden. They can be found around the floating city of
Nokadam as well as the outskirt waters of Lavincia and Equivia. They are very common
in the Eriyon Ocean.

»» A r k s a w
Like its other fellow Ocean creatures, the Arksaw are found around Nokadam as well as
the capital. They are widely found in the Eriyon Ocean.

»» B a t t r i g o n
These mysterious creatures are only found in the underground city of Atifay.

»» C r a w d i l l i a
Cradillia are found in every part of the Ocean. There have been sightings of some of them
on the Andana Beach.

»» D r a k e i
These beautifully designed creatures are found in the cities of Lavincia, Serenium, and
Equivia. The Drakei, though dangerous, are known to help out the people of Eden.

»» G r y p h o n
Only found in Serenium, Gryphons are peaceful creatures that work with the humans.

»» J e l l i n c l u s
Though creepy and dangerous, Jellinclus give out a mysterious aura to them. That is
why they are watched intensely around the world. Nokadam City has the best view
of these fascinating creatures.

»» M i n t r i k i e s
Orivia Village is the only place known to have seen these creatures. Mintrikies are
known to be playful, yet very mischievous, though they tend to leave the humans alone.

»» N y t r a n e
It is told that these creatures have been in the world of Eden since ancient times.
Equivia is surrounded by them, and some people say that the city of Equivia and
these creatures are tied together somehow.

»» R i n d e r
These 6 eyed creatures are found in the Orivia Town forest as well as the capital
city of Lavincia. They help pull carriages and are extremely friendly toward people.

»» S e r g o n
These beautiful sea creatures are the only way in and out of Irmania Village, other
than flying. Sergons are very peaceful beasts and will help the humans in any way
possible.

»» S p e a r i c e
Found all around the region and world of Eden, Spearice are considered some of the
greatest ways of transportation. Even with the technology, the world of Eden chooses
to embrace the creatures they have. Spearice are caring creatures and love the
affection of people.

»» S p y g e r
A dangerous, yet thrilling creature. Spygers are seen near the desert cities of Aladia
and Ipitrias. Some people are luck enough to have tamed such a beast.

»» W o l f e r n
Wolfern are considered some of the most interesting and mysterious of creatures.
Though they are helpful and caring for people, sometimes they can become scared,
or frightened of people. Some people say that it depends on the person or the
creature. The forest town of Orivia as well as Lavincia have such animals.

Their purpose is to destroy the darkness that is infecting their world. Several combos
and ways to attack can be made up, such as charging up discs of energy and throwing
them at the enemies. Attackers use a source of energy as their weapon, so they
perform as if they were wizards.

Their purpose is to defend the Purifiers, due to the fact that the shadows want the
Purifiers gone. They can create force fields for a limited amount of time and can
finish an enemy off by forming a bubble around the darkness and squeezing their
fists together.

Their job is to purify the world from the darkness. They can momentarily stop the
shadows and make them relapse in time. Their only other form of defense is to
momentarily shock or confuse the darkness. Besides those ways of defense the
Purifiers need the Defenders to protect them. Purifiers can purify the world in many
ways, but their goal is to find and travel to the Tree of Eden, where together they
can purify the entire world.
