When one pictures Tempest it is a scenery of floating islands in the air, and one of the only ways to travel to a fro the cloud isles is by an airship, making Tempest the most inaccessible kingdom to traverse by foot unless one comes in with a flying creature. They consist of very high peaks once on land, with beautiful cascading waterfalls flying below the ground of Vasca, the only indication that a traveler might arrive by the right destination to the region of Tempest. Despite its inaccessibility, the people's warm embrace of outsiders have allowed them a flourishing airship system and long, winding bridges which allow the travelers to enter from one island to the next. Their weather is generally hot, though still with some form of greenery.
The people of Tempest are free spirits and lovers of the arts, with dancing and grand performances considered to be one of their many prides of culture, and are very accepting of races from all walks of life. Although humans primarily are the most populous, many people from all regions have found themselves settling there, resulting in a mix and max of other races in families. This makes them frowned upon by Taoqi of the burning province since they pride in the purity of Salient bloodline among races.

The first impression people took of Ridal the flowing nation is that it is a place of wet marshlands with tropical trees and strange fishes and monsters in the water. While in some parts of the region this is true, other cities have buildings surrounded by water while the capital is completely submerged in the sea. Its region title is partly inspired by the fact that almost half of it's mass is covered in water, with the rest of the population's settlement in whatever landmass they would find themselves occupied in. In certain parts rain is common every few days. The main transportation system in Ridal is mostly by ships and man-made tunnels to travel to and fro the capital city, with the scene of the sea in evanescent view.
Much like Tempest the cloud isles, Ridal is also home to many races who have come from other places and settled in the region. However, unlike Ridal, the races mostly kept to themselves and maintained the cultures they had from their home regions. Inbreeding between other races do exist, however they are looked down upon by the common mass. One common culture they all share is love for the arts and theatrics, as well as a thriving fishing market thanks to the unique fishes living in their sea and lakes.
taoqi the burning province
| feudal eastern asian
Taoqi is known for its festive red and pink, with blooming cherry blossoms all year round in its capital. However, active volcanoes are common in some cities, and fire-wielding salients are usually hired to prevent the eruptions of some volcanic explosions. Curved rooftops and wooden houses are the usual architecture, and with its colorful trees Taoqi provides a very idyllic setting of its scenery. However, its walls are difficult to pass and live in Taoqi because of its regime and coldness towards outsiders who are not humans. Salients are common to come from this region, and its main transportation come in arrays, but the usual would either be on horseback or caravan, as they are usually keen on those exchanging goods and services.
With its customs that have remain unchanged for generations, Taoqi of the Burning Province has many festivals tracing back to its ancient roots, with the Heavenly Divisions heralded as great Gods in this region. Much like Alexander, Taoqi also place heavy emphasis on fighting, but their style is more graceful and for some Salients, also incorporate a little bit of their element-wielding into it. In terms of how they interact with travelers from other regions, they are normally placate to merchants who come for tradings, but the people of Taoqi are staunched in their traditions, and are cold towards foreigners whom have settled.
alexander the sapphire kingdom
| old europe/greek
What most travelers would picture of Alexander is that its capital have pointed, towering buildings and circular windows, and how it gained its name is not because the region is abundant with riches, but rather the fact that the day in most cities always appear dark, as clouds normally obscure the azure sky. Because of its cold climate, some parts of the region are buildings made purely of ice, and the capital is one of the only warmer climates. Travelers mostly come to Alexander for their love of tournaments, and it is considered the hardest to travel by land transportation, as although it is not marred by high peaks or dangerous monsters in the sands and seas, does require thicker clothes and coordination from the icy grounds.
The people of Alexander are lovers of bloodlust and fighting, where the capital would stage an annual festival of the hunt against various monsters from many regions. As a result, they have some of the best smiths experienced in such high demand of weapons. High-born elves normally live in Alexander with sprinkles of other races here and there, and much like Taoqi, they are not so keen on interacting with other regions, though they are more of indifference compared to Taoqi's disdain. They are, however, very friendly with Caliphae, due to their trading relations and exchange of weaponry and minerals.
caliphae the silver empire
| old middle east/india
The sandy weather in this region is unstable, varying from hot for a moment to cold the next, with the sun unforgiving without cover. In some parts of the region, the people here managed to make man-made settlements out of dry, high mountains and cascading roads leading to different cities, but the rest of Caliphae are deserts that stretched for miles until its border, and it was said to be difficult to survive if one does not prepare to traverse the barren lands. There is perhaps a reason for this, as beneath the deserts are sand dunes, and you would surely meet your demise if you come across one upon encounter. Caliphae is the land of the minerals, and mining is considered to be its main source of income for the people here.
The people of Caliphae are very proud people, as well as the wares and minerals their soils are so blessed with. They are also lovers of the art, and are known to be very passionate about their literature and the sing-songs of legend. Humans and earth-wielding Salients mostly populate the region, and have described to be very good-looking, and legend has it that the Goddess Chrysalis fashioned all of Vasca's beauty on their features. However, thanks to its mineral, this is a region in which nymph-poaching is very common and containing most of its feral nymphs in uninhabited caves.

The most isolated of the region, Eulur is mostly seen as a vast of open field, with a thriving wildlife and the only region in which crops and farming can grow due to the fact that the soil is very fertile. Despite so, settlements are scarcely seen in Eulur the Reverent Tribe, but when they do, they are comprised of tall, squared rooftops that appeared as though they are made of yellow bricks and sand, decorated with looping vines and a bit of greenery. Compared to other regions, there is no difference between each city that separates them from one another with minor differences in low and high buildings. The people of Eulur are normally reserved people, and travelers that come to this region mostly come to pray and pay respect to the dead.
Legends have stated that there is an ancient library in Eulur in which all the knowledge of the world are gathered, but up to this day, no soul had seen nor document the library in question. The region is mostly known for its worship of many Gods from all regions, and is home to the great Shrine of Rimaru, a great smith from Taoqi of the Burning Province that forged a ritual sword named after him, who had traveled away from his home region to pray in solitude. It is also home to a small tribe of mountain elves, those who have maintained the tradition of their original elven tongue.
magic and technology in vasca
Although use of drawing mana with Salients and natural mana of the artifacts, sages and nymphs exist, magic is fairly minor, and if used, especially with humans, the drawbacks are substantial. Overuse of element bending with Salients can result with eventual extinction, and those who yearn for mana but are not gifted with such replace it with alchemy, a common form of trading. Technology is also fairly minor, as with the exception of airships to go to and fro different regions, people still rely on weaponry for protection.
