Welcome to the Silver Mask OOC

Welcome to the OOC thread for the Silver Mask Inn and Bar. This is a thread for the occupants of the bar to come and discuss public plots, discuss and generally talk about any aspects of the thread that they want. I only ask that while this is a threat for out of character conversation, don't go on and on with pages and pages and pages of normal conversation since it'll get moved to the Chatterbox and we all know what will happen then...

There aren't any rules apart from the usual - follow the ToS, keep swearing to a reasonable amount, yadda yadda. Have fun guys. 3nodding

Announcements

Contest competition is a go, but we still need a theme for it. The poll for deciding it will be up on the Silver Mask itself and will run for a week, that gives us time to set up the date if it's for Halloween - hopefully, also by having it actually on the Silver Mask it'l attract a couple people for it. Still need to set up some rules though, more about that in this thread;

Costume categories so far are;

wahmbulance - Undergarments - because sexy sells and nobody's complaining. rolleyes
wahmbulance - Science Fiction Movie - aliens and other Science Fiction creations - robots, space ships, astronauts and etcetera.
wahmbulance - The Good, the Bad and the WTF?! - Cowboys, Mexican hombres, Native American red indians, heck even horses if you wanted.
wahmbulance - Oriental - Samurai, Ninja, Oni and demons, Geisha, Ronin, you know what I'm talking about.
wahmbulance - Horror/Gothic/Halloween - enough said, horror creatures, blood gore and scarey guts - this will be run on Halloween if it wins.
wahmbulance - Clutter-Fest - Throw on as much in your inventory as possible, the biggest eyesore wins the competition.
wahmbulance - Pirates versus Ninjas - pick a side, pirates or ninjas! Best costume will decide once and for all who is the better team.
wahmbulance - The Rocky Horror Picture Show - You've seen the movies, you've seen the costumes. Bonus points for men who turn up in Tim Curry drag.

So people... first things first, I want to know since I was asking Rose a few days ago.

I want to make the Mask better. Is there any way that we can do this, either in presentation, posting or otherwise? At the moment, if you look, I'm updating the front of the site and are currently hosting an image on photobucket for it so hopefully that'll look more spiffy! Anything else?

I'm sure some people might like to see more action; battle related, but I know those are hard to work out when you don't have a more consistent online schedule.

Hopefully I'll be posting a little more. I have a true aversion to fighting though since nineteen out of twenty people I've fought with don't know how to properly - and all of them claimed they did. Maybe we could organise something for other people though..? I could play referee/judge if one is needed.

He would be the one person out of anyone that he would get violently jealous over. The rest he'd just ******** with and try to out bid his romancing. Kalar's been leery of Don since the previous incident.))

I'm half-tempted to pursue this to inject some emotional drama, and build an interesting triangle. When I am finished with all this dad-blasted moving issues I might just want to talk to you bout exploring this plot. I'll want to talk to you and DM about it so we have minimal out of character drama involved with this. This might be an interesting storyline if it doesn't erupt into outside drama that brings it to an end before it runs through.

Let's put a hold on that until after the stress of moving an settling in is done on my end as well. I don't want outside emotional input effecting any pretend drama here in RP-land.

We'll see if I've grown mature enough to handle that level of tease involving Kisan after I'm done being hyper-tense about making sure the move goes smoothly. But for now, mark me as not quite interested.
