This site has sponsors. The cost of running Gaia is more than covered, and there is money that is obtained by bough donation items. A few paid positions could be squeezed out of that budget.

Dealing with complaints isn't a fun, easy, or nice job to do. I'm not saying that paying someone would make it easier, but it might give someone the incentive to do the 'work', and focus on professionalism.

Legitamize what it is that they do.
