HoH's staff would actually make some effort to see the event to a close.

Well, considering there are concrete time limits that are entirely dependent upon finishing within the given period and not upon whether or not someone SHOWS UP within the first two weeks... yeah.



Though in past years we had 16 teams and it would go 4 rounds. This year it will be 6(ish). With 32 teams it would probably end up being around 8.

...which would put the end somewhere around May. xp

Well, the thing is that a lot of teams get their first entry forms sent back either because they're overpowered, lack detail which leaves too many loopholes for abuse, or are too long.

I think the first team to get in last year was P:Swords! Nothing wrong with it I dont think.

And I think ASSTEAR was too long, because I think I had to chop something off.

I think TAT got in second, just because of the fast turnaround on the revisions, maybe third though.

I think I'm the only person who has ever started a fight with a striker assist before any significant actions were in play to prompt a striker assist.

Money, or prestige/showing off... definately not the right reasons to join this thing. Most teams after that kinda stuff caused trouble last year. Heck, some of the people just there to play and have fun made trouble at times. It happens in competition, the violent element makes the competitiveness that much hotter, and if you're there just thinking about winning things are just bad.

I think Swords! caused as few problems as we did because we were trying to win but didn't really except to/mind if we didn't.

I counted up all the penalties we incurred in that exchange.

3x DQ = Loss through TKO.
3x DQ = Forfeit through not having enough members.

2x Yellow Flag on Tzen = 1 Red Flag
3x Red Flag for Murder + 1 Red Flag from Tzen = 2x Team DQ for massive penalties.

Oh, and then there's the fact that there were 3 yellow flags and 4 red flags, which is pretty much unrecoverable point-wise.

Pretty much a five-fold loss in a single posting round for turning that guy into hamburger.

I loled hard at supertaunt. Also at the entire cocktower once s**t started getting out of hand.

Swords! got in because we were probably one of the weaker teams going into the thing, and we were super pumped to get in on time. And by weaker I mean we didn't have a whole lot of powers to be graded aside from Flare's "Flame on!" and Owle's shapeshifting.
