Dear Mrs. Dover,

Attempting to get to the core of my being in a multi-paragraph essay seems complicated, if at all possible. How am I to capture myself, mind, body, and soul, in a hand written, single spaced, essay? Would you like a witty anecdote? A quirky sonata? A clever crossword puzzle you'd have to solve? If I presented myself in one of those ways would I get extra credit? Two extra points because I made myself something a little more exciting that what I really am. Hardly seems fair. So I'm going to express myself exactly as I am, because I'm a simple kind of guy. A pirate ship loving, adventure book reading, doodle drawing, peacemaking, vegetable eating, kind of simple, guy.

This has me reminiscent of grade school. You know, when you had to do those projects about all the things that don't matter when you're six? Five sentence blurbs about George Washington or several words thrown together on who you wanted to be when you grew up. For the record I said Peter Pan. But the thing about this is, I really do care. I've grown so much from that little doe eyed boy who longed to wear tights and fly. Though I still dream, I dream smaller. And while I may no longer write a few sentences on deceased presidents, I still chug away at high school history projects. I think that's the first thing you'll discover about me; overall, I like to do what I'm supposed to. You can trust that I'll turn my homework in on time, that I'll pick you up when I say I will, that I've changed my underwear before I left the door. If you were going to put a bet on anyone, I'd set bet on me. I will always follow through.

Why? Well, I'm not a fan of confrontation and I'm not a fan of conflict. Peace is the number one facet of my life that is always kept intact. I attended a few debate club meetings last year, and they made me uncomfortable. Arguing for fun? I just don't see a point. There is a natural instinct for me to want to heal, to wrap a big bandage around the problem and give it a sloppy wet kiss, wishing it well. No stone goes unturned in my world, if there is a problem, I have to fix it, and if I can't well...it bothers me to no end.

I sound like Bob the Builder...
Can he fix it? Yes he can!

(Am I going to get docked points for that? I sure hope not)

Maybe my instinct to heal goes hand in hand with what many have called a soothing aura. A calming effect of sorts, a feeling that everything will be A-okay in my presence (but let me tell you, it doesn't exactly help with the ladies. Girls want to be thrilled, not relaxed). Hardly a ball of energy, I think things through reasonably, I listen intently, and I always answer in the best way that I can. An offered sense of balance is what I provide in the world, through the sunshine and the rainstorms, I'm the little seedling poking up through the soil, no matter what the weather. Resilient, green, and eager.

Resilience comes in many forms though. And though I wouldn't call myself greedy by any means, I would say I can be a tad obsessive (okay, more than a tad). I get hooked on something, and it consumes me (once there was a period of grape swirled peppermint sticks, my mouth was purple for a whole month). It can happen with anything, food, television, or even a person. One taste, look, or word exchanged, and I can become hooked.

I just like feeling passionate about something...

Passionate, hopeful, peaceful and kind.

Come on, admit it. If you were going become stranded in a room in the event of an earthquake with anyone, I might not be a bad candidate.

So keep me in mind (Not you Mrs. Dover, the audience).

Lime Rejuvenation
Just as tasty as it sounds, Lime Rejuvenation is an energy drink of sorts that comes in handy quite often. Pulled an all-nighter doing your chemistry homework? Ran a ten mile marathon? Caught in a sticky situation trying to take down two of the meanest girls in Twinkle Town? Rylee can whip this drink out in a flash, and he always has a few bottles nestled behind his shield. Have a sip of this stuff and you'll feel better instantly. You'll be able to do ten more problems, run ten more miles, or fight ten times harder. But beware, when it wears off the result can leave you feeling even more drained.

Neon Green Super Shield
A bright green shield that Rylee can hold up at the drop of a hat. Though it doesn't emit a blinding light, it does repel small objects and mildly painful attacks. And hey, it doesn't make too bad of a fashion accessory either.

Sour Apple Smack-down
Kept in the pocket of Rylee's heroic outfit is a small green apple. Reserved only for dire situations, one bite and his attack power can reach incredible highs; his punches harder, his moves faster, and his shield stronger. However he must use it cautiously because eaten without enough energy and it will be lights out until he can regain some strength.
