- - - - - Okay, this is the most basic rule of all. Everyone has it in some way, shape, or form. This is an advanced literate thread. You should be able to pull off at least five decent paragraphs (longer for an intro). At the very least, three chunky paragraphs. However, we don't want that to be the norm. On that same note, we don't want a twenty paragraph post either. We don't want have that kind of time. Make sure that you use spell check (we realize it sometimes fails, so try to look over you're work; unless you're like me and hate re-reading what you wrote) and have a decent grasp of grammar (I don't know all the rules, so you don't have to be perfect).

- - - - - So, we don’t like cliché characters. Not everyone should be depressed and an emo kid all the time, nor should every character look like one. At the same time, no mary-sues or gary-stews. Just... normal people. Like you and your friends. Unless your friends seem remotely like either of the two groups above (in which case either good for you or... your friends are probably robots).

- - - - - Okay, so we do love formatting in posts. If you're not great at it, that's fine, because it's the quality of your profiles/posts that's really important. If you are good at them, that's wonderful and we'll take it into consideration. However, don't go crazy with the pictures and the lyrics. We want to be able to read your profiles and your posts without having to dig through tons of images.

- - - - - We're understanding. If something comes up, let us know and we'll figure something out with you to make sure the roleplay doesn't come to a screeching halt. We would like a post at least once a week. We realize people have lives (maybe not right now, but they soon will) and therefore you don't have to post every day. If you go longer than a week without posting, you will be warned and asked for an explanation. If it happens more than once (and you don't have a good reason), then you will be asked to leave. We aren't trying to be mean, we just want this roleplay to last a while.

Twenty-four years ago, Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord and the wizarding world rejoiced. Those that were lost were mourned for, but those that remained began the first period of peace in over fifty years. For once, it was safe to go outside and people took advantage of that fact. Have these twenty four years made them forget about the times before? It seems so, as when the Minster of Magic mysteriously, and unceremoniously resigns no one thinks anything of it. Even Harry Potter can hardly be bothered by the fact that no one has seen or heard from the minister since his resignation. If it weren’t for the ‘missing persons’ file that slid across his desk one morning, he wouldn’t have given it a second thought. On top of that, his replacement looks eerily like a certain villain…

The ministry is in an uproar as this person has pushed their way into the position with no vote—if everyone had it their way, Harry Potter would’ve taken the vacant seat (whether he wanted it or not). On top of that, something seems to be happening at Hogwarts again. Even more devastating than the Chamber of Secrets incident in Harry’s second year, students are being attacked and physically hurt in the hallways—sometimes permanently damaged. Those who could tell, told different stories, the only similarity being that they all claimed to be attacked by their best friends. And every time a teacher or anyone searched for the accused to ask questions, they were nowhere to be found, an almost sure sign of guilt.

At first their seemed to be no real pattern to the attacks, but as more and more occurred, it became obvious: pureblood students were being attacked by their muggle-born best friends. It took almost the entire Auror department to piece it together, and an entire week to believe it. There hadn’t been hate crimes in years, at least nothing of this magnitude, so why now? Was it the convenience of the event that was taking place at the wizarding school—the first one since the devastating Tri-Wizard Tournament? That the aurors did not have an answer to, but it was decided there would have to be a team of aurors at the castle at all times.

With Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students hanging around, the students of Hogwarts were at their most relaxed. Until the attacks starting happening of course. A few students pointed fingers, until the events started occurring within the other two school’s as well. Now, as the finalists are battling to be the Hogwarts’ (or other respective school’s) champion, everyone’s on edge. Jumping at shadows, wands always at the ready, and trusting no one. The teachers are unsure as to whether or not they should continue the competition at all. Classes continue as normal, however, and to some students (and their parents) this is a concern. Clearly, with everything going on, the school should be shut down indefinitely.

It didn’t happen when Voldemort was tormenting the school, and they certainly weren’t going to start now.

A couple of days before the start of our roleplay, the fifth years were attending another painful potions class. The potion they were working on? Polyjuice. A mostly harmless explosion occurred, in which four students were immediately sent to the hospital wing simply for protocol reasons. Two were Albus Severus Potter, second son of Harry Potter, and Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, only son of Draco Malfoy. The other two were girls from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Though nothing outwardly changed, inside something was different—extremely different. The polyjuice had switched them, Albus with Scorpius, and the two girls. However, unlike the usual polyjuice potion it lasted longer than an hour.

How will these four deal with a different body and life? Will they be able to get the other students to listen? And what of the other students? Will they be able to find out who’s behind the tragedies occurring at the schools? Will the aurors be any help?

And how are all of these incidents connected?

- - - - - Alright everyone! So this whole "clean-up" thing has taken a lot longer than I expected. But, quite frankly, the thread was in desperate need of it. - - - - - That all being said, we are re-opened. But we ask that you refrain from posting until we at least have our other polyjuiced student (meaning we need a female, 5th year Gryffindor) and our villain has had a chance to update their journal. - - - - - Talk about crazy, folks. We're full...for the second time! Now, I'm sure you've noticed we've got tons of people involved in this thing and it's bound to be hilarious. Keep working on those profiles, for those of you who haven't turned them in yet (we also realize we've failed to supply a deadline for them...working on that, really). The action has started so if you're looking to keep up, skim down the page and find our nutshell post; it's basically amazing.

- - - - - In other news, we are a little uneven house wise, but I don't think this will really be a problem. And I hope that the massive [full] in the title deters people. If you want to apply, we may very well be willing to work with you. IF you can find the secret phrase. That's right, somewhere on this massively long page is the phrase that pays. How will you know it when you see it? Well, it's basically a clear mark of our insanity...and what's been going on. That being said: We've finally opened up the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang spots! Be forewarned though, we did very, very brief descriptions to give you a starting point for those characters in the npc thread. Hop over there, take a look at which you'd like to play if you're interested, and PM the mule with your application! Yes, even if you're interested in doubling, we need an application. - - - - - Profiles are starting to roll in, which is a great sign. Hopefully everyone's working on theirs (which I know you all are). We now have a Rose Weasley, as well! -applauds- Of course, I'm sure you noticed that means the houses are a little uneven. But no worries. Once the majority have turned in their profiles, we're going to start opening up slots; an OC in Ravenclaw and Slytherin as well as those adorable Scamander twins! - - - - - OMG no way!? FULL? Can it be!? It is! I'm happy to announce that only three days after opening we have filled the first wave of slots! -throws confetti- This is like a world record for us. We'll be making an announcement of some sort about profile due dates and such if we can ever figure it out. So at this point, the sooner the better: the sooner they're in, the sooner we can start! Keep up the great work everyone!

- - - - - Alright, listen up everyone. At this point in order to accommodate all of our lovely applicants and get this show on the road, Rose Weasley and the Two-for-One special Scamander Twins been put on the back burner. This doesn't mean we don't want those characters around...Heavens no. If you know of anyone, or perhaps you are someone, who would want to play as Rose or the Twins speak up! We'll reopen those slots just for you! In other news, We've got one slot left! A Hufflepuff OC. Keep in mind that once all slots for our Hogwarts gang are filled we will be opening up slots for Beauxbaton and Durmstang students; you are allowed to double if you can handle it. If not, don't gobble up all the characters. Some new faces could be fun.

- - - - - ALSO! Take notice of the addition of a "crk" or "crack" thread. We thought this could be entertaining for when the roleplay itself isn't yet moving or slows down. Characters can interact with one another and bring us hours of entertainment!

A: Not necessarily. You have to give us a really good reason as to why your character already knows how to conjure a patronus as it is a high level spell. Same goes for animagus.

Prior to Revamp
"albus is like ZOMG i'm in Score's body and is kinda like YAY but then is kinda like ohshit he might be in mine. then lily is like ahhh my brother! who dah ******** messed up a poljuice potion. noob. they should die. she runs to her brother and is like gah i love him even though i hated him before. then sees malfoy all up in albus' grill and is like 'MALFOY GET AWAY FROM HIM!' D< even though malfoy is albus. and she's like OH ALBUS <3. and then Jung is walking through the halls and is thinking about the Tournament when this other student is like 'Score is in the Infirmary because someone made it go BOOM in his potions class.' and she's like '******** MY KEEPER!!! QUIDDITCH IS MY LIFE!!!1111' Then she sees Albus/Score get pushed by Lily and is like 'Smallest Potter stfu.' and hugs Score for being okay because he's not out for the season even though it's really Albus and Albus FAILS at quidditch ... "
